Christopher Bollyn Found Guilty

A Hoffman Estates writer who says he has been targeted by authorities because of his views was convicted Tuesday on charges stemming from a confrontation last summer with police outside his home.

Christopher Bollyn, 50, was found guilty of misdemeanor aggravated assault and resisting arrest after a four-day trial in the Rolling Meadows branch of Cook County Circuit Court.

Jurors deliberated about two hours before returning the verdict.

Bollyn, who has written for several Web sites and has claimed that Israeli agents were involved in the World Trade Center attack on Sept. 11, 2001, called police Aug. 15 to report a suspicious car in his neighborhood. The car was an unmarked squad with three tactical unit officers, and authorities said the officers pulled into Bollyn's driveway in the 200 block of Kingman Lane to identify themselves.

A new edition has supposedly been published and the online advertisement page for it at the B&N website is virtually without any reviews (mine is the only one -- and yes, it's positive).

Conspiracy theories on the Internet and on the loose

In the days before the Internet (remember back then?) a jobbing conspiracy theorist would release the occasional book, appear in this or that public forum and maybe get a segment on a television documentary or two. All of this could be expected to generate a reasonable amount of publicity. But if our conspiracy theorist was after mass publicity and a global audience then things were going to be tough. The best bet would be to suck up to Oliver Stone, in the hope of persuading him to make a Hollywood blockbuster based on their favoured conspiracy theory.

A reporter advancing 9/11 conspiracy theories in a heated exchange with advisers to Rudy Giuliani was arrested following Tuesday night's Republican debate.

Police in Goffstown, N.H., confirmed to RAW STORY that freelance reporter Matt Lepacek was arrested for trespassing following the debate at St. Anselm College in Goffstown. Lepacek was asking a Giuliani adviser about comments the former mayor made on ABC News on Sept. 11 that some say show he had foreknowledge that the World Trade Center would collapse.

Police refused to release more information about Lepacek's case prior to his first scheduled court appearance July 3.

Peter Holmes had given up on waiting for me to return from a delicious chicken taco lunch last Wednesday and was walking down the hall when I got back. He'd been waiting in CityBeat's office lobby for the better part of an hour. I was about 20 strides from him when he asked, "Are you David Rolland?" When strung together like that, those have become four of the scariest words in the English language. And I've become so terrified of unannounced visitors that I probably formed my answer more like a question than a firm declaration: "Yes?"

This appears to be the CNN footage of the confrontation between Giuliani and WeAreChange at the Giuliani Fundraiser. As anyone can see, a lot of 9/11 truth information was broadcast.

9/11 families jeer Rudy - Protesters say he’s not fit for White House

Inside the Bay Ridge Manor, smiling supporters may have been toasting former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani with a bit of the bubbly and nibbling on slices of birthday cake.

But, it was a vastly different scene outside. Penned beyond metal barricades, across the street from the catering hall, which is located at 476 76th Street, protesters holding signs were making it crystal clear that they had little truck with “hizzoner,” who currently is running for the Republican presidential nomination and whose fundraiser was in full swing beyond the building’s brick façade.

Their purpose in protesting was directly tied to Giuliani’s presidential aspirations. As he tries to make his way to the White House, he is attempting to capitalize on his image as the hero of 9/11.

PITTSBURGH - A man who owns property at the site where Flight 93 crashed on Sept. 11, 2001, has demanded millions for his portion of land where a memorial is planned, and he has installed a donation box to help pay for security.

The actions by Mike Svonavec have angered victims' families, who believe he is overcharging and disagree with the need for a donation box.

"That land has been paid for with 40 lives. ... The donation box is an insult to that cost," said Patrick White, vice president for Families of Flight 93.

Svonavec wants $10 million for his 273-acre property in Somerset County, far more per acre than paid for nearby land, White said Tuesday. He said Svonavec told him about his asking price last July and has rejected three offers from the group - the latest for more than $500,000.

"I think Svonavec believes his land, because it has the blood of my cousin and 39 other people, it's worth more," he said.

On the 27th of February 1933, the Reichstag (German parliament) caught fire. Hitler described the fire as a "beacon from heaven". History shows that it removed many obstacles to the Nazi power grab and led directly to the rise of Hitler and the brutal killing spree that followed. Communists were blamed, and many were rounded up and imprisoned, but evidence shows the Nazi’s were responsible for the fire. "You are now witnessing the beginning of a great epoch in German history...This fire is the beginning," Hitler told a news reporter at the scene. What followed was death, destruction, and horror. The Bush family is all too well acquainted with that part of history as Prescott Bush (GW’s grandfather) was instrumental in bringing Hitler to power. One former US Nazi war crimes prosecutor insisted that Prescott Bush should have been prosecuted for, "giving aid and comfort to the enemy."

Giuliani does flip-flop on 9/11

Rudy Giuliani has changed his story about 9/11. And if you bother to see the video on YouTube, Giuliani is not talking about World Trade Center No. 7. He firmly states he does not know its condition. Therefore, he was told before the collapse about the first two towers coming down.

Why doesn’t America know that he was warned that the towers were going to collapse?

Because the media are too busy with NASCAR and “American Idol” to care.

Consider this: On Tuesday, members of a 9/11 truth activist group confronted former Mayor Rudy Giuliani at a New York fundraiser about the fall of the World Trade Center. Giuliani’s politely phrased response, caught by WNBC news cameras filming the event, was, “I didn’t know that the towers were going to collapse.”

Workers Finish Searching Deutsche Bank Building For 9/11 Remains

The city said Saturday that workers have finished scouring a service road and a building near the World Trade Center for human remains.

In all, about 1,400 human bone fragments were found at the former Deutsche Bank building and on a road used by construction vehicles to get in and out of the site.

Many of them were found after search efforts were renewed when utility workers found body parts in a manhole in October.

Deputy Mayor Ed Skyler says the city is now searching a sewer line beneath the site for September 11th remains. It also needs to comb through 1,000 cubic yards of debris from ramps that led to the tower and search the roofs of 130 Cedar Street and Fiterman Hall.

That work should be done by November.

Why 9/11 is relevant to Canadians

Some might say that 9/11 has changed Canada’s foreign policies in such a way that Canada is no longer regarded on the world stage as a peace-loving country, but a country willing to use its military preemptively based on nothing more than the trust we hold in the word of our southern neighbour.

Not only are we participating in the NATO occupation of Afghanistan, but we are also supplying the British and American troops in Iraq with their most deadly weapon - munitions made from Canadian mined depleted uranium.

Already, millions of Canadians do not support our war effort. But what if the official story of 9/11 was a lie? What if 9/11, as the evidence now suggests, was a self inflicted wound? How many of us would /then /support the War on Terror?

You wouldn’t guess that he once helped engineer a failed coup against Saddam Hussein, that he speaks Arabic and Farsi, that he once prowled the lawless valleys of Lebanon in service to the Central Intelligence Agency, or that George Clooney played him in the movie “Syriana.”

Only his bookshelves, packed with volumes about Iraq and the Middle East, give any clue to Baer’s background. A book about the Russian mafia sits next to his chair.

In an interview from that chair, Baer talked about messes in Washington and Iraq, unexplored leads in Iran, and the “curious” town of Silverton.

BROOKLYN — Yesterday evening, former mayor Rudy Giuliani was scheduled to come to the Bay Ridge Manor to celebrate his birthday, part of a citywide sweep through the boroughs that began in City Island in the Bronx that morning.

His supporters were scheduled to greet him. Giuliani’s support is considered very strong among Brooklyn’s Republicans, and those in New York in general. At least one club, the Bay Ridge Young Republican Club, has officially endorsed him for president.

“He, more than any other candidate, understands the most critical issue facing us, and that is the need to stay on offense in the terrorists’ war against us,” said Bob Capano, Brooklyn Young Republican leader and staffer for Congressman Vito Fossella, D-Southwest Brooklyn/Staten Island.
