The Loony Left's 9/11

When college professors retire they -- like most other people -- take up hobbies such as fly fishing, model trains, postage stamps. David Ray Griffin, a professor emeritus of the Claremont School of Theology in California, has a very different hobby: Conspiracy Theorism. He has been working at it full time, as his book Christian Faith and the Truth Behind 9/11 shows. He thinks it is his urgent mission to prove that the collapse of the World Trade Center towers and the plane crash into the Pentagon on September 11, 2001 were the work, not of radical Islamist jihadis, but of George Bush and his confederates, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld.

Why are Honest 9/11 Researchers Targetted

I am an independent journalist who has investigated the events of 9/11 since that terrible day in which our lives and national political reality were so drastically changed.

My original research and articles have resulted in several discoveries that are central to understanding what really happened at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the reclaimed mine in Lambertsville, Pennsylvania.

Unfortunately, because my discoveries do not support the official government conspiracy version, I was branded an "anti-government conspiracy theorist" by those who refuse to investigate any evidence that challenges the official version.

Dear Ms. Hasselbeck... The 9/11 Conspiracy Visits The View

Thursday, May 24 will be a big day for the creators of Loose Change, the wildly successful Internet “documentary” which says the Pentagon was struck by a missile instead of a plane, the World Trade Center was brought down by a controlled demolition, and that the passengers on United Airlines Flight 93 were taken to Cleveland and then spirited away, presumably to Mars.

Korey Rowe and Dylan Avery, along with Willie Rodriguez, a 9/11 survivor who insists he saw evidence of controlled demolition, will appear on a major network daytime TV show, ABC’s The View. Rosie O’Donnell will thankfully be leaving the show in a few weeks, but as a going away present, ABC is giving her the chance to promote 9/11 conspiracy nonsense to a nationwide audience.

Claims of 9/11 conspiracy has suspect running scared
Former Denverite says 9/11 work has made him a target

By Sue Lindsay, Rocky Mountain News

May 23, 2007

A former Federal Emergency Management Agency videographer accused of killing his wife in Denver is seeking political asylum in Argentina, claiming the U.S. government wants him silenced for what he saw in the smoldering ruins of the Twin Towers after 9/11.

Kurt Sonnenfeld's efforts to avoid extradition have gained interest from human rights organizations in South America and broad attention from conspiracy theorists on the Internet.

Sonnenfeld, 44, is charged with first-degree murder in the New Year's Day 2002 shooting death of his 36-year-old wife, Nancy, at the couple's home in Congress Park.

Professor Steven Jones presented brand new and compelling evidence for the controlled demolition of the twin towers and WTC 7 recently, but the 9/11 debunkers and the corporate media are loathe to tackle it because it represents a slam dunk on proving the collapse of the buildings was a deliberate act of arson.

Why is the establishment media so out of touch on 9/11?

Why is the establishment media so out of touch on 9/11?

May 22, 2007 -- Last Sunday, C-Span 2 aired a session from the 2007 LA Times Festival of Books, called the “Age of Spin Panel,” whose purpose was to explore media deception during the Bush years – a big topic. The panel consisted of Newsweek journalist Michael Isikoff, political consultant Frank Nuntz, Salon.com columnist Joe Conason, and Mother Jones magazine reporter David Goodman, all of whom, with the possible exception of Goodman, are well-known figures within the Washington media establishment. A number of topics were discussed – the Iraq war, the outing of Valerie Plame – but I found the panel chiefly interesting for what was said about 9/11.

'Sicko' stars thank Moore for Cuba trip

By Jocelyn Noveck, Associated Press

NEW YORK — It could have been a college reunion: hugs, tears, laughter, photos, and a big friendly guy in shorts and sneakers organizing it all. But the guy in shorts was Michael Moore, whose new documentary, Sicko, takes aim at the U.S. health care industry with the same fury — laced with humor, of course, and plenty of statistics — that he directed at the Bush administration in his hit Fahrenheit 9/11.

And the people who'd flown in for this intimate first screening, a day after the film had been shipped to the Cannes Film Festival, included grateful Sept. 11 "first responders," suffering lung problems or other ailments from their days at ground zero. In the film, Moore takes them to Cuba and tries to get them treated at the U.S. base at Guantanamo Bay — where, he contends, terror suspects were getting better medical care than the heroes of 9/11.

Quiet, but unmistakable, echoes of 9/11 work their way onto the screen

Many Wonder, Did Giuliani Profit From 9/11?

(CBS) NEW YORK When Rudy Giuliani left office in 2001, he was worth a little less than $2 million. But official filings show he now could be worth 30 times that amount. And that has critics charging he's exploited a tragedy.

Giuliani's become a multi-millionaire since Sept. 11. And that's not sitting well with FDNY Deputy Fire Chief Jim Riches.

"He's making all this money on the backs of my dead son and all the other dead victims that day," Riches said.

That's a serious charge, but it's echoing among Giuliani's critics in wake of his financial disclosures this week. It turns out the former mayor could be worth up to $66 million.

Last year he collected speaking fees of $11.4 million, consulting fees of $4.1 million and fees from his Texas law firm of $1.2 million.

Giuliani biographer Wayne Barrett said he's attended some of Giuliani's lucrative speeches.

Martin: Paul's 9/11 explanation deserves to be debated

By Roland S. Martin

Roland S. Martin is a CNN contributor and a talk-show host for WVON-AM in Chicago.

(CNN) -- Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani was declared the winner of Tuesday's Republican presidential debate in South Carolina, largely for his smack down of Texas Rep. Ron Paul, who suggested that America's foreign policy contributed to the destruction on September 11, 2001.

Paul, who is more of a libertarian than a Republican, was trying to offer some perspective on the pitfalls of an interventionist policy by the American government in the affairs of the Middle East and other countries.

"Have you ever read about the reasons they attacked us? They attack us because we've been over there. We've been bombing Iraq for 10 years," he said.

That set Giuliani off.

What is it like to live in a privileged country, one providing its citizens with the opportunity to pursue happiness, and one guaranteeing them that the happiness they establish will indeed be protected at all costs?

What is it like to live in a country where citizens can lay their heads down on a pillow at night and know beyond a shadow of any doubt that their elected leaders will not rest until the common good among them is met in both action and intention?

Further, what is it like to live in a country where the population is assured that no elected leaders will ever be allowed the power or money necessary to conspire against them and their children for any reason whatsoever? Because no reason for conspiracy against their own is a good reason for any leader.

U.S. Probe Could Boost Moore Movie

By Kathie Klarreich/Miami / TIME Magazine

Michael Moore will never get a standing ovation from the Bush Administration, but he certainly won't complain about the free publicity he's getting for his newest documentary, SiCKO. Free publicity for an adversary may not have been the government's intention, but that has certainly been the effect of the investigation Washington has launched against Moore just one week before the movie's slated premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.

Last March, six months after his initial request for travel documents, the award-winning documentary filmmaker visited Cuba. There, he filmed a segment of SiCKO, his movie focusing on the failing U.S. health-care industry. For the segment, Moore had taken along ten 9/11 first-responders who have been suffering respiratory problems ever since.

Statement in Response to Bush Administration's Investigation of 'SiCKO'

'SiCKO,' Michael Moore's new movie, will rip the band-aid off America's health care industry. Premiering at the Cannes Film Festival in just one week and opening across the U.S. on June 29th, 'SiCKO' will expose the corporations that place profit before care and the politicians who care only about money. Our health care system is broken and, all too often, deadly. The efforts of the Bush Administration to conduct a politically motivated investigation of Michael Moore and 'SiCKO' will not stop us from making sure the American people see this film.
