WASHINGTON - The Senate on Thursday endorsed President Bush’s plans to prosecute and interrogate terror suspects, all but sealing congressional approval for legislation that Republicans intend to use on the campaign trail to assert their toughness on terrorism.

The 65-34 vote means the bill could reach the president’s desk by week’s end. The House passed nearly identical legislation on Wednesday and was expected to approve the Senate bill on Friday, sending it on to the White House.

The bill would create military commissions to prosecute terrorism suspects. It also would prohibit blatant abuses of detainees but grant the president flexibility to decide what interrogation techniques are legally permissible.

Really If the Bush/Blair administration really wanted to keep you safe, Instead of sending the troops in 2 illigal wars causing massive casualties of soldiers and civilians they should have used the troops to patrol our boarder making sure not 1 illigal immigrant and cargo gets smuggled through land and coast. They would have use the money immidiatly after 9-11 to have funded a program that made sure 100% of all containers that come into us ports get inspected.
It doesn't matter if it delays goods to be distributed, its the safety of our lives and that of our children we talking about. 5 years later and they are barely started to get serious about inspection of containers and a nationwide fence along mexico. Is as if by attacking 2 countries that had the least ties to 9-11 hijackers(those hijackers where from saudi arabia and some had links to pakistan and we didn't bomb none of them), thus creating more terrorist and yet illigal immigrants get through our boarder as of september 19,2006 that's 5 later years folks, yet we spend 350 billion dollars in 2 illigal wars, come on television and claim we are safer but not yet safe. How many contianers have gone unisnpected in those 5 years putting at risk your lives, if any of them have WMD's and Bilogical weapons. No they didn't care if all containers get inspected because that would delay the goods from being moved from the port and thus the profits of the bush sponsors.

My 2 cents for a stronger psychological shield:

I long investigated religion and its effects on society, and it’s known that is a tool used for control and unconscious manipulation of people’s judgment. I don’t mean that religion is all bad, it's been very useful to bring order into society and bring a psychological backbone to the majority of the population of any given country, kingdom or empire. It gives individuals a reason to accept their current situation, gives them a motivation to thrive despite their poor conditions.

Religion is a way to explain, situations, things and behaviors we don’t understand. Kings, Emperors and secret societies needed ways to keep control of their populations by releasing manuals or books, in this case a bible's or manuscript that focus on a all powerful being that at the end will bring justice to those that decide to believe in such idealism, therefore backing up a story with such a powerful perception makes the bibles or books have solid a backbone.

The human brain is capable of an immense diversity of feelings, behaviors, ideas and perceptions that give way to Arts, sports, music, acting, personalities, imagination and so much more.

I write you to let you know what I have realized of all the information flowing around either for us or against us. The latest I’ve seen is letters by US embassies trying to defend the official story to all foreign countries. They try to validate the official story by pointing out the 9-11 commission, which by the way lasted 1 year and a half( I just can't believe Clinton sex case deserved more time and a budget of 100 million dollars, compare to the death of 3000 people witch was given a budget of about 15 million dollars.) They refer to the NIST investigation, which they claim did extensive research, analyzed 7000 pieces of video, had 200 or more pieces of steel samples and debris from the WTC towers(by the way, where are the samples that they use?, also most of the plane fuel burned in the massive fireball outside the towers, fires burned from less than an hour at temperatures that could not melt the steel found days after the collapse, they do not take into account the grade of steel used, which can withstand fires of the like of kerosene for several hours even with its fireproof removed, they also claim the towers had its steel columns which hold lateral load sheared off by a 757 and its vertical load bearing columns removed by the impact of the airliner, and that being enough proof(according to them)for the towers to collapse.)

I retract what I said about the Washington Post article on MSNBC, actually is not that bad, they put all the point across and i dont see any ridiculing, I just read it carefuly, I jumped to quickly to a conclusion by assuming anything from big media was propaganda. My mistake, the article is very subtle to not sound pro 911 truth movement. they do point out the diferences of Reynold and Jones. I hope this get more people to look for the truth.
