Tuesday night was Dr. Griffin's presentation of "9/11, Evidence, and Faith" presented by Columbus911Truth.org and TruthOhio.org. He spoke to a crowd of about 200 people (that's a lot for Columbus) at First Congregational Church and received a standing ovation before moving on to a Q&A session. We had people come from all over the state, including organizers from Dayton 9/11 Truth, We Are Change Cleveland, and Cincinnati 9/11 Truth.
Many, many thanks go out to everyone who helped organize the event, as well as all those who attended. And another big thanks to those who donated so generously --- your support will allow us to produce more events like this in the future which will continue to educate our community!
Thanks to Evan Davis, you can download the entire speech (71 min.) as an mp3. If you download the mp3, please consider making a small donation to Radio4All to cover the bandwidth costs incurred (it's a 32MB file) --- they are a valuable resource and are entirely supported by contributions.
Video coming soon! There were a couple people taping the event, we'll post the links as soon as we get them.
Did you attend the event? Please comment on this post and let us know what you thought!
Not sure if anybody's seen/posted these articles yet or not, I wasn't able to find them, so here are the links:

From Wikipedia: "Discover is a science magazine that publishes articles about science for a general audience. The monthly magazine was launched in October 1980 by Time Inc. It was later sold to the Walt Disney Company in 1991, but in October 2005 was sold again to Bob Guccione Jr., founder of Spin and Gear magazines and son of Penthouse founder Bob Guccione."
First off-- I didn't see it firsthand, but a friend of mine just told me that in the most recent episode (#5) of "John From Cincinnati" on HBO, there's a street scene and in the background there are a couple 9/11 Truthers holding "Investigate 9/11" signs! Has anybody seen this episode, and/or the scene she's talking about?? My friend is not a truther, so the fact that they were prominent enough in the scene to come to her attention was what got me.
Here's the official site:
And here are some mentions of it in the show's forum:
"Lots of placed symbols including "Investigate 911, Jesus, and an odd symbol on a guy's baseball cap."
"...during the crowd scenes in this episode, someone was holding a sign reading "Investigate 9/11." Probably someone from the Bill Maher forum."
This is a village that donated over three times more to Republicans than Democrats in the 2004 elections. The same Powell that Bush visited a year ago to help with a DeWine fund raiser. And yes, Republican Congressman Pat Tiberi was in the parade as well. Did I mention it's a predominately Republican town??
The highlight of our display was a seven foot tall reproduction of the 9/11 Commission Report, complete with the required holes throughout, some VERY LARGE (e.g. two planes – three buildings = one has to wonder.)
The book rode in the bed of a pickup that was adorned with banners all around. The left and right sides featured Bush's very fitting quote:
“We must speak the truth about terror. Let us never tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories concerning the attacks of September the 11th.”
