9/11 Civil Information Blog Salutes Prof. Steven E. Jones

Prof. Steven E. Jones (Journal of 911 has reported the successful publication of a new peer-reviewed paper concerning the destruction of the World Trade Center. We wish to congratulate him and his colleagues on this outstanding achievement, but also to honor him for his moral character and his wonderful, civil demeanor. The entire post and the paper can be read here, along with many, many comments.

For our purposes, while we hope everyone will read the paper itself, we would like to highlight the tone of Dr. Jones presentation:

PICTURES of the 9/11 terrorist attacks were among images found on the computer of one of the men accused of helping the 7 July bombers plan their attack, a court heard yesterday.

The photos were discovered on the hard drive of a computer belonging to Waheed Ali, who is accused of accompanying two bombers on a reconnaissance trip to London.

U.S. security chief says fingerprints not private, can be shared by governments

April 9th, 2008
By The Canadian Press

OTTAWA - The American homeland security czar says Canadians shouldn't fear plans for international sharing of biometric information like fingerprints.

Michael Chertoff says fingerprints are like footprints - "They're not particularly private."

The prospect of governments swapping the fingerprints of law-abiding citizens worries privacy advocates.

But Chertoff says officials need to make sure terrorists or criminals can't evade security by exploiting differences in Canadian and American practices.

Chertoff was in Ottawa today for a meeting with Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day on border security issues.

As of June 2009, only a passport or other acceptably secure document will be accepted at the U.S. border.

Chertoff says he's confident the countries can put in place a system of secure driver's licences before the deadline.

Congress considers medals for 9/11's Flight 93 victims

Congress considers medals for 9/11's Flight 93 victims

By Oren Dorell,
April 8th, 2008

Relatives of the passengers and crew of United Airlines Flight 93 are stepping up pressure on Congress to decide whether the people who died fighting their attackers on Sept. 11, 2001, deserve the nation's highest civilian award.

Bills to honor the actions of those on Flight 93 have been popping up since days after the plane crashed in a field outside Shanksville, Pa., during a passenger-led attack against their al-Qaeda hijackers that prevented a possible strike on the White House or the U.S. Capitol.

Five bills have been introduced in six years to award the Congressional Gold Medal to Flight 93's passengers and crew. Some bills called for a medal for the men who attacked the terrorists, an event gleaned from phone calls from passengers to loved ones aboard.

But a decision on whether to award a medal that was also bestowed on George Washington, Walt Disney and the 1980 U.S. Summer Olympic Team has languished. Some bills called for everyone who died that day to get a medal; others just a few, or even creating a new honor.

Fraser Valley 9/11 Truth - Civil Informationing April 6th

Maple Ridge, BC
Sunday, April 6, 2008

Marilyn and I, along with newcomer Marina, were out today for some 9/11 Civil Information-ing. It rained on and off,so we could not set up at the usual location, but we did find a sheltered spot (empty store front with an awning) on 224th St (the main street) right next to a busy Italian Ice Cream Cafe and so we set up there. We had, numerous DVD compilations, music CDs and our new Weapon of Myth Destruction: a portable DVD player. There was not a lot of pedestrian traffic given the weather, but enough to make it worth while, and while some sauntered by obliviously, others crossed the street to talk to us and to learn more, and were thankful for our presence there.

(Picture taken with my very old pocket digi-cam - sorry, it's all I've got !) comes under fire from CBC re Trojan Horse clips

The website which put together a montage of highlights from part 1 of the 2 part movie Trojan Horse which aired last Sunday, has come under fire from the CBC and warned to remove their content by Friday or face legal actions.

The Webmaster of responded with the following post on the front page of their site:

Hello CBC....

9/11 Civil Information Salutes Colorado Truth Activists

We wish to congratulate these outstanding individuals and groups on a job well done!

A new video produced by '
We Are Change - Colorado' in collaboration with and was recently brought to our attention in which they ask Sen. Gary Hart some sharp questions. Our blog members have now had a chance to review it and we are very impressed, extremely pleased, and proud to share it with others as a fine example of positive, civil activism. We invite others to watch it and truly hope many will take the time to do so. While not pertaining directly to the events of 9/11, it is relevant in terms of understanding the agenda behind it, which we have seen unfolding in the wake of events of that day.

Unfair Dealing by David Weingarten

I just came across this video about the alleged Toronto terrorist plot, which was a total "made in Canada" PsyOp.

If you have not seen it yet, you may want to check it out and let others know too.

Afterwards, think about that plastic "hand grenade" mirror ornament too, as seen in the recent Walmart video, and as innocent as that ''may' have been, how dangerous this 'could' be for the individuals involved, and for the movement.

Thanks to for hosting this!

Positive, Civil 9/11 Truth Activism in Maple Ridge, BC, Canada on March 22nd

Report from Saturday, March 22nd, 2008
by Fraser Valley 9/11 Truth

A few of us were out again for another Civil Information session last Saturday at 224th and Dewdney in Maple Ridge, BC (east of Vancouver) and again were very well received while handing out many fliers, DVDs and 9/11 music CDs.

We had a lot of friendly chats and no negativity whatsoever regarding 9/11 Truth, although one woman took exception with our stance on the war (bring the troops home until 9/11 is investigated or change it to strictly Peacekeeping Mission), as her brother is serving in Afghanistan. She said (according to him) that the soldiers are happy and are doing good, and therefore it matters not why we are there. We had a cordial 5 minute debate about that but then agreed to disagree. It is a touchy subject, especially when one's loved ones are involved, and we do not like to argue with anyone who disagrees and create a negative spectacle. She did agree, however, that 9/11 should be investigated and that the victims deserve truth and justice.

It was another well spent 3 hours talking to our neighbours and making new friends - and it was fun !

$24B spent on security in Canada since 9/11

$24B spent on security in Canada since 9/11

CBC News
Last Updated: Monday, March 24, 2008 | 10:52 AM ET

Canada has spent an extra $24 billion beefing up security measures since the Sept. 11 attacks on U.S. soil, CBC News estimates.

The federal government has never revealed the costs of extra security precautions taken after the 2001 attacks, but CBC calculated the multibillion-dollar figure by tallying budgets from various departments and interviewing sources familiar with defence-related spending.

Domestic security accounted for the largest portion of expenditures at around $15 billion. That amount includes costs such as paying domestic airlines to outfit planes with reinforced doors on pilots' cabins and installing high-tech detection scanners at ports and land crossings.

An increase in the military's budget makes up another big chunk of the spending. After subtracting normal yearly increases in place before Sept. 11, the Canadian military received an estimated $9 billion extra since 2002. The annual rate of military spending in the budget has also doubled.

WE are the change that we want to see ....

Sunday, March 9th, 2008

Civil Information(ing) on the streets of Maple Ridge, BC in the heart of the Fraser Valley (east of Vancouver).

Another great day of 'being the media' and talking to fellow Canadians (our neighbours) about what we have discovered about 9/11 and how it affects us, and the world. Just by being outdoors with a simple sign, a smile, with free DVDs and music CDs, we reach potentially hundreds of passersby and thousands of motorists.

Below, Marilyn talks to two gentlemen who came over separately for a friendly discussion, both of whom were already very knowledgeable and who agree that we have been lied to by the mainstream media about what happened on September 11th, who was responsible and the apparent motives of the real perps. Best of all, a number of people expressed interest in getting involved with us, so we can continue to build a network of concerned citizens, to help restore our country and the world to sanity, in a peaceful, non-partisan and democratic way.
