William Pepper, legal advisor to the New York City 9/11 Ballot Initiative, today explained why the initiative's board has decided not to pursue the case any further. Appearing on the "Fair and Balanced with Kevin Barrett" radio show (archived here) Pepper said the odds of winning an appeal were too slim to justify the resources such an appeal would consume. Instead, he said, the NYCcan.org legal team is hoping to file a civil suit by 9/11 family members and others in a legal venue carefully selected to maximize the chances of success.

Pepper also confirmed the rumor that a professor who is an expert on election law refused to help NYCcan.org after Pepper was unable to promise the professor that the results of a genuine 9/11 investigation would not hurt Israel.

On October 22, Richard Gage, AIA, will speak to the Sacramento Chapter of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). This will be a very important event, being the first time the evidence for controlled demolition at the World Trade Center will be presented to an audience of aerospace professionals. The title of Mr. Gage's talk is "Analysis of WTC Failure Modes." The event will be held at the California Aerospace Museum at McClellan, CA. I always thought Truth recovery might just get a big boost from unraveling the deceit and manipulations in the financial sector. This is big news friends and it could very well lead to the discovery of more Truth. Just think about the put options on United and American weeks before 9-11. "As to how Jones could have signed the statement below, let me make clear that neither he nor I, who also signed the statement, signed something accusing Bush of being directly involved in 9/11. I did authorize my name to be used to call for an investigation of the claims of those who deny the official story of 9/11.

I am now and was then an agnostic about what actually happened to make 9/11 possible, but do agree with those who say that there are enough inconsistencies and problems with the official story to warrant an impartial investigation by people not connected to the government of the US and not bound by political considerations. I think that such an investigation would be a great advantage to everyone.

When it rains it pours, it seems, and even famous political cartoonists are not immune to the subtle pressures from the "left gatekeeper" mentality.

The daily bleeding of thousands of jobs will soon turn our economic crisis into a political crisis. The street protests, strikes and riots that have rattled France, Turkey, Greece, Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Iceland will descend on us. It is only a matter of time. And not much time. When things start to go sour, when Barack Obama is exposed as a mortal waving a sword at a tidal wave, the United States could plunge into a long period of precarious social instability.

I posted this under Michael Hasty's blog post and thought it deserved it's own post as well. I would hope that our movement gives serious thought to what I'm proposing here.

I resist the temptation to believe that Obama, or his Justice Department or his administration in any way shape or form will pull for another 9/11 investigation, or be pressured to do so. To expect them to do so will very likely lead to deep frustration. The country is sinking. They have their hands full with immediate problems of grave consequence. We have to become pro-active instead. I think the most effective strategy is to keep doing what we're doing AND take a lesson from David Ray Griffin's new book "9/11 Contradictions". This book is actually an effective document for numerous legal actions. Our scientific, engineering, professional pilots and architectural colleagues are providing a similar body of work that can be used in legal proceedings. We have to formulate ways that the data we are amassing can be used by the legal community to achieve our objective.

(Let's not forget that the catastrophe of 9/11 brought suffering to many and extraordinary profits to a few. The toxicity of thinking that went into 9/11 paid handsome dividends to speculators, defense contractors, oil companies and a ruling elite whose governance is described below in this latest essay by historian Michael Parenti. Qui Bono applies to the functionaries of false flag operations as well as to the underwriters of the vast sums of capital needed for their life-hating agenda.)
