Towards the end of 2007, WeAreChangeLA reached out to the SImon Wiesenthal Center regarding the testimony by Mark Weitzman of the Simon Wiesenthal Center before Jane Harman's Congressional Committee. Mr Weitzman gave a presentation to the committee in support of H.R. 1955 where he positioned the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth website as an "incubator of 9/11 conspiracies and disinformation."

David Frum came to the Los Angeles Public Library on January 16, 2008 to engage in a conversation with Arianna Huffington and hawk his new book "Comeback: Conservatism That Can Win Again." Well, considering the question of judgement that quickly springs to mind after considering his choice of which candidate to back and advise, Frum better get his Neo-Con game up if he is to be a Republican Machiavelli.

As he finished up signing books, we approached him. It was not our most tightly vetted truth squad ever, but it illicited an interesting response from one of the architects of the infamous "Axis of Evil" speech. I'm very eager to dialogue about different strategies, thoughts, critiques, ideas on the art and practice of the truth squad. Let's talk after the video.

The Southern California 9-11 Truth groups converged on Dec. 6, 2007 Boston Tea Party Day in Laguna Beach for an outreach to fellow citizens.

This was yet another phenomenal success for truth. So many amazing people gathered for a very important cause to help wake up others to the truth of the 9/11 coverup. Is there anything more rewarding for a truther than getting people to begin the trek down the rabbit hole of truth?

This piece is a conglomeration of responses inspired by George Washington's piece entitled Are Those Who Question 9/11 Anarchists? and the dialogue it engendered. It got me thinking about the nature of our form of government, its relationship to the best in anarchist thinking and the creative possibilities for a future America post-9-11 justice. It's a bit rambling and jumbled, but I wanted to put it out there for folks to read and respond to if they so desired.

It started with a response to Jon Gold's laying out the definitions of anarchism in relation to the criminality and lawlessness:

1. a state of society without government or law.
2. political and social disorder due to the absence of governmental control: The death of the king was followed by a year of anarchy.

association of individuals and groups as the principal mode of organized society.

Just ran into the clips of Bill Maher's 1st show back and there were some interesting moments to be had. Reflecting on last year, I still think his big interruption moment of 2007 was rejuvenative on all accounts. Yes, it could have been done with a little bit more finessing, but more important is that it was done. The perfect could have become the enemy of the good in this case. And it got people talking. We need more interruptions done strategically. What we want is people talking, debating, raising the issue. There are many fronts and faces in this challenge. The civil rights movement successfully found a place for the different strategies and styles of Rosa Parks, Malcolm X and MLK. Bill Maher and the rest of corporate media have a long election year ahead of them. It could get more interesting than anyone can imagine.

KPFK Senior Producer, Christine Blosdale, prepared a segment for the January 11, 2008 "KPFK Evening News" on what she called a "great gotcha moment in history," namely the recent truth-squading of Representative Henry Waxman. Interspersed with her own take on it were a few powerful moments from the encounter pulled from the We Are Change LA video of the event.

The earlier part of our Eleventh Day of Action last month was spent demonstrating outside of Congresswoman Jane Harman's office in El Segundo, CA. We took the opportunity to go inside and speak with her aid about our concerns surrounding HR 1955, Mark Weitzman's powerpoint presentation identifying www.ae911truth.org as "Disinformation" and appealing to terrorists, and Congress's continuing silent complicity in the 9-11 cover-up. Her aid would not allow us to film the conversation so we attempted to describe the conversation as best we could. We left behind some information about 9-11, including an ae911truth.org card about the destruction of the Twin Towers and a DVD with "9-11 Mysteries" and Richard Gage AIA's "Blueprint for Destruction," among others. In an interview with WeAreChangeLA.org, Richard Gage AIA, founder of Architects and Engineers for 911 Truth, responds powerfully to the insinuations and defamations put forth by Mark Weitzman of the Simon Wiesenthal Center during his powerpoint presentation in Jane Harman's congressional committee hearing last fall. Among making other powerful points, he calls for an apology, a retraction and a meeting with Mark Weitzman and/or representatives from the Simon Wiesenthal Center.

I got through to (PNAC/drug czar) Bill Bennett's "Morning in America" radio-show early yesterday morning. Bennett's guest host Kevin Wall was talking about Hillary Clinton's chances. I decided to bring up the 9-11 elephant in the room in relationship to Bill's "How dare you?!" response to MN CHANGE's vocalization that "9-11 was an inside job." I also brought up Cossiga's recent comments, not because I am convinced that they are pure of intent, but more because they are a good thought and conversation starter, especially in a right-wing forum. What do you think of bringing Cossiga up? I also got to throw in his role in Operation Gladio. And ultimately claimed that Hillary Clinton is part of the 9-11 cover-up. As I believe the Legislative and Judicial branches in their entirety are at this point, both those consious and (intentionally) unconscious.

On 11-11 @ 11am, well over a hundred truth-speakers and patriots from all around the region and the country, including brave Johnny Wave, gathered on a cliff in Santa Monica above the Pacific Ocean. They commenced to march through the streets chanting, teaching and handing out information. And from what I have heard, it was quite an impactful and inspiring day to both those marching and watching. Though I missed it being on the other side of the country, this beautiful video put together by Bruno from WeAreChangeLA, with material and help from many others, still gives me some good goosebumps.

In honor of the 1st night of Chanukah, a celebration of light, I am announcing the imminent formation of a group tentatively titled- "Jewish Voices of Conscience for Truth, Justice and Peace." The intention of this group will be to summon the intellectual, social and spiritual power of Jewish peoples of conscience across the diaspora to vocalize silenced truth in order to push for justice and provide for the possibilities of peace. Although not solely dedicated to speaking about the attacks of 9-11-01, seeking and speaking the truth about this crucial event will be a lynchpin around which our focus can and must turn.

On thursday, I called into Michael Medved's "Disagreement Day" show once again to attempt to bring up some 9-11 facts. Although I got pre-empted and distracted by Medved, I got my basic point out there early on and responded fairly adequately to his questions. Maybe I speculated a bit too much when I answered his question about the reason for the Afghanistan War with "opium money." We eventually proceeded to talking about the '93 WTC bombing. And ended up with Medved giving me earnest, heart-felt advice to not ruin my life "with this stuff."

On Saturday October 27th, Maxine Waters received an award from Peace Action West, during its 50th anniversary celebration, for her peacemaking work in the "Out of Iraq Caucus." After a speech in which she urged us to keep the pressure on Congress and to work to pick up votes for the Democrats in the house and win the White House as the way to end the Iraq War, I decided to follow up with Representative Waters on our previous encounter months earlier- http://www.911blogger.com/node/9793

After reminding her about our previous encounter regarding Brezinski's false-flag attack warning and war with Iran, she immediately jumped into talking about the incident with the "wayward" nukes and her intention to look into it on monday. She had begun speaking about the incident with the B-52 from Minot loaded with nuclear-tipped missiles when I turned the cellphone recording on...

J: So now you’re tuned into that?

MW: Yeah, I’m tuned in, so, on monday, I’m going to do some research. I’m gonna see what I have. Ok.

Last friday, a week and a half after the delivering a you tube response to Bill Maher's assertion that 9-11 truthers needed Paxil (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoJJIYWMZlY), a small group of LA WeAreChangers brought the heat to Maher's place of work, CBS Studios. They held signs, handed out info to people coming in and made some interesting contacts along the way. It remains to be seen who will give out first in this war of wit and attrition. John Edwards is gonna be on the show this friday. Who knows, maybe he'll have done his building 7 homework by then and come out on live TV as a proponent of controlled demolition. Dubious huh? Anything could happen. I heard Cheney said pigs were flying down in Wyoming. And anyone could be in that audience.

Ok, in terms of what I would like to call the 9-11 truth and justice movement, things are both gearing up in energetic momentum and spinning apart centrifugally at the same time. I think these are both good signs, if we are to pause for thought, dialogue and tactical talk, rather than ignore the signs of our moment and press forward willy nilly. The pitch of the talk about disinfo and how to engage it and/or disengage it is high. And rightfully so. There are many divisions and dischords right now, and some would say this is a good start in sorting out the wheat from the chaff. Being that we are a group of people that take such a thing as the idea of "truth" seriously, intense dialogue is very necessary. And the focus must be on ideas and an honest engagement of debate and dialogue both. The problems of unknown truth and undone justice around 9-11 that we seek to rectify can be explained as a problem of silence. The Official Conspiracy Theory people won't have it out with us in a vigorous and public fashion.
