Since the September 11 2001 terrorist attacks many western countries have experienced an erosion of the freedom which I was brought up to believe was a guaranteed, non-negotiable part of modern society. In retrospect it appears that this freedom was only ever attained tentatively and required constant vigilance in order to prevent us slipping back into more barbaric forms of social organisation.

I had the honour of writing an article on the 9/11 truth movement for Unleashed back in May 2008. The article achieved a record number of comments for the brief time it was open for comment.

The latest wikileaks release appears to be directly targeted at Pakistan - at least that is the way it is being spun in the news.

Specifically they are saying that Pakistan is colluding with the Taliban.

The Pakistan connection was the top story on the BBC World News yesterday. Extraordinarily, the news presenter admitted that the US military may indeed welcome the release of this information!

The Pakistan Government is vehemently rejecting the accusations of supporting the Taliban. On the BBC the Pakistani government spokesperson said that the whole affair was an attempt to sabotage the US/Pakistan relationship. This comes at a time when the US is stepping up predator drone attacks against targets in Pakistan.

Richard Gage AIA appeared on New Zealand's government owned television station, TVNZ, on 27 November 2009.

In this interview on the "Close Up" program, Gage lays out the overwhelming evidence for controlled demolition of 3 WTC office towers on 11 September 2009.

This may be the first time the evidence assembled by Gage and others in the 9/11 truth movement has been presented with the gravity and respect it deserves by any mainstream news broadcaster.

I would like to commend TVNZ's board for having the courage to air this piece.

This is pretty significant in my opinion.

It is the first time to my knowledge that the Sydney Morning Herald (one of the top broadsheets in the country) has covered the topic.

NO PLANE flew into Building 7 at the World Trade Centre. But seven hours after the Twin Towers collapsed in flames on September 11, 2001, this third skyscraper fell too.

Like its larger neighbours, it fell rapidly, vertically, almost symmetrically, like an implosion. It took 5.4 seconds for its 47 storeys to complete their fiery descent.

Tonight it is my great pleasure to welcome Richard Gage to TNRA.

Richard Gage, AIA, is a San Francisco Bay Area architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects. He is the founding member of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (ae911truth.org). He has been a practicing architect for over 20 years and has worked on most types of building construction, including numerous fire-proofed steel-framed buildings.
Most recently he worked on the construction documents for a $400M mixed-use urban project with 1.2 million square feet of retail, parking structure, and 320,000 square feet of mid-rise office space - altogether about with 1,200 tons of steel framing.

AE911Truth.org provides an extensive resource of expert opinion on the structural failure of three WTC buildings on 11 September 2001.

During the interview we engage with all the key questions surrounding the collapse of WTC buildings 1, 2 & 7 - including a critique of the flawed reports produced by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) .

The Australian 9/11 truth movement is not going away.

We will continue to press for truth and justice - for as long as it takes.

The Sydney group meets on the 11th of every month, usually at the Town Hall.

After seven years, the sudden collapse of WTC Building 7 on the afternoon of September 11 2001 remains the most controversial "smoking gun" of the 9/11 truth movement. The appearance of yet another another video indicating foreknowledge of the collapse of Building 7 drives another nail in the coffin of the official NIST finding that the collapse was an essentially random event.

Yet there is one possible explanation for the foreknowledge which has so far been neglected. We have the testimony of Barry Jennings that explosions were taking place in WTC7 in the morning, well before the towers had collapsed. These explosions early in the day may have resulted in the building becoming "unstable" - and thus would have fed reports such as the above that rescue workers were concerned the building might eventually come down. Thus the supposed evidence of foreknowledge may have an innocent explanation, and we should be cautious about pointing the finger at those who may have in good faith made statements about the building's impending collapse.

On 1st August Truth News Radio Australia interviewed Glen Clancy, creator of the film Fool Me Twice, which explores evidence that the 2002 Bali Bombings were orchestrated by intelligence operatives, while the governments of Australia and Indonesia looked the other way.

Dear Mr. Fisk,

I found your recent article published in The Independent on 25th August 2007, very interesting indeed.

It is a welcome change that a highly respected journalist as yourself, described by the New York Times as "probably the most famous foreign correspondent in Britain", finally has some "questions". Great! However, there are some insinuations in your article that suggest you have not informed yourself about the wealth of factual, undisputed evidence that is available in support of the 9/11 Truth position, while at the same time you have introduced new “evidence” which on the face of it seems rather ill-considered, and for which you provide no references.

Firstly, however, I want to point out that the tone of this article is very self-serving and insulting to many who have been researching this subject for years.  These people you call "ravers", are in reality people like me who got fed up with the stone-walling of mainstream media on the most important single issue of our time. This is enough to make anyone with a conscience angry. I am angry, and you should be angry too. Anger is warranted here.

Mr. Fisk, nobody wants to be a “conspiracy theorist”! We are driven to this by conscience, and because we see that if we don’t speak up that the tyrants will simply have their way unopposed. Ultimatey, we speak out because we know that if the crimes of  9/11 are allowed then our liberal democratic way of life is over, and we would be fools to expect to be safe from the murderous cabal which is pulling the strings of world governments.

Today's action at Sydney Town Hall was great. We had an opportunity to talk to many people. Many DVD's were taken. The atmosphere in Sydney is quite receptive to questioning the official story of 9/11 and many people who were merely passing by indicated they were aware of the Truth movement.

We had a hugely successful day today!

After last months lone mission this was simply awesome. Six of us met at the pub for introductions and light refreshments before heading in to the Murray St Mall near Forrest Place. (the heart of the city).

On Friday 29th June John Bursill spoke by phone with a several staff members of the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sydney. The purpose of John's call was to share information and ask for opinions from appropriately qualified professionals about the compelling evidence which shows that the three sky scraper collapses in New York which occurred on the 11th September 2001 were deliberate demolitions rather than merely the unfortunate consequence of the impact of fuel-laden jet airliners.

Among those John spoke with is Dr. David Leifer, Senior Lecturer and Coordinator of the Facilities Management Program. Dr. Leifer expressed his agreement with one of the central claims of the 9/11 Truth Movement, namely that the manner in which the WTC towers collapsed, does not accord with the official explanation endorsed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) of a purely gravity driven collapse initiated by structural failure.

Dr. Leifer later confirmed his views in an email to John, which we present below:

Our protest on Monday - (Queen's Birthday public holiday) was a resounding success.

We met as usual at the Sydney Town Hall at 11:00 AM. We had a table laid out with a variety of books, pamphlets and DVD's and we maintained the stand till about 2pm.

Average people here are hungry for alternative information about 9/11 - many we spoke to had seen Loose Change already, and the majority needed no convicing that the official 9/11 story is completely phony. This despite the almost total media blackout on the subject in Australia.
