A hit piece article, not far fetched to be described as mostly based on pure demagogic overtures appeared in one of the most distributed Czech daily newspapers, the Mf Dnes, which is seen by many as rather renowned outlet for its regular unbalanced and slanderous political "journalism".

But firstly, to tackle another recent controversy, the Mf Dnes editorials called for unquestionable and unconditional support for accommodating a proposed US military missile/radar base which should be part of the controversial anti-ballistic missile system deployed within the Central European region and outside the NATO/EU security structures. Despite the, fact that the first '06 summer poll showed 83% opposition across the party line of the general Czech public to such a proposal.

Grassroots rallies "Ne zakladnam! No to bases!" and antiwar initiatives have mobilized against both the large part of the corporate as well as the public broadcasting media, which were firstly reluctant to cover the issue before the summer parliamentary elections at all. Large chunk of the media later jumping on the unpopular pro base rightwing government bandwagon.

Although, the author of the main conspiracy article and additional "expert" interview did plug the recent Scripps – University of Ohio poll and also mockingly mentioned in passing the science community on the issue (not mentioning specifically 9/11 Scholars for Truth or any individuals) the articles were conducted in bluntly uninformed, and dishonest distractive manner, not unlike the infamous Ann Coulter style.

Switzerlands second biggest newspaper 'Blick' had a title-page and 2 page report about 9/11 today.
This paper is not exactly the most 'serious' one here, but rather boulevard-y.
But all in all, the report is fair.

Prof. Albert Stähelin (military-strategy-expert), and Dr. Daniele Ganser (you might have heard of him, he's associated with st911 i think)
are both expressing their serious doubts about the official story. It lists '5 hot questions' , including wtc7, pentagon, insider trading, able danger,
twin tower collapse) and lists the official explanation, for those points where there actually exists one that is. However, it fails to point out what exactly the problems
are with those explanations.

Just saw this and thought I post my thoughts. He makes some excellent points that I think many here will resonate with. In particular, I liked the following (emphasis mine):

To me nothing of the visual evidence really makes sense. See PlaneImpact and Damage. I suggest that China or Russia (or Iran, or France) recreates 20 floors worth of World Trade Center, and then flies a 767 into it... Only then we will know what the effect looks like. My guess is that it looks VERY different.

Apart from the MISSING PLANE DEBRIS and the weird explosion it shows the simultaneous explosions IN THE OTHER TOWER (north tower).

Today will my third day this week going out with all the materials and bullhorn and telling truth in public. VIENNA, Austria - A recent House of Representatives committee report on Iran's nuclear capability is "outrageous and dishonest" in trying to make a case that Tehran's program is geared toward making weapons, a senior official of the U.N. nuclear watchdog has said. So many people here on 911Blogger were worried that we were being set up for a smoking gun video that would PROVE once and for all that it was Flight 77 that actually hit the Pentagon. OK, it has been 4 months since Judicial Watch posted its ridiculous video obtained by a FOIA request. September 11 anniversary has passed. Nobody is talking about it any more. Too many other "fires" to put out I suppose.

So, what's the consensus of opinion now that all this time has passed? Have any of you changed your minds? I never bought into the idea that this was a set up, simply because the government has had so many years to produce a believable tape and all they could come up with is that lame "video" that so many talking heads said would put an end to the conspiracy theories. Seemed ridiculous then, and seems even more ridiculous now.

I still think that Flight 77 did not hit the Pentagon, and I still think the government is looking really bad on this one. I'd be very surprised if any other tapes are ever made public -- tapes that really show what happened. Of course, with a new investigation and subpoena power, perhaps we could actually see whatever it was that hit the Pentagon.

I saw and recorded on VHS the above documentary on Spike TV last week (Septenber 6th).

It was freely narrated by the ironworkers themselves interspersed with captions or subtitles.

I don't have the ability to convert it to digital and to upload it, and have been unable to find it on Google Video or You Tube.

Today I watched it again and transcribed some of the comments of the ironworkers:

(Note, they did not have the names of the individuals on the screen as they were speaking. some of the comments refer to what they heard and saw prior to the collapse, and the rest to what they encountered at the scene when they arrived to help rescue potential survivors)

"I didn't think they were gonna fall. After being there in '93 and seeing the damage that was done, at the bottom of those columns (pause) that was some blast! And I didn't think so at all."

This might have some more answers to the real deal regarding September 11th 2001.
