The two best papers on the collapse of the towers are the jones and griffin paper "why the towers collapsed" They are sourced and scientific. If a movie was made summing
up their main points that was a slickly produced as Loose Change it would spread. They have so many quotes and contradictions to NIST specifically and the flawed investigation.
Although movies like loose change and 9/11 mysteries are good, the jones 12 points he brings up and the contradictions articulated in a entertaining video format would be very nice
to see.

3. nist claim that they only investigated the "pre collapse events, not the subsequent collapses"
4. Nist floor models that did not melt or sag, so they resorted to computer modeling that was rigged. (read jones paper)
5.The samples from the fire area that only showed evidence of fire reaching a max of 250c, no more
6. windows not breaking
7. bright orange reaction that fits thermite reaction like a glove.
8. block above impact area that turns into dust in midair. (how could it crush the rest of the building if it turned into dust?)

At appx 3.5 seconds into the video, you can see a squib on the collapsing tower, near the bottom middle of the screen. There is no reasonable way to explain this occurance via “the pancaking” theory. This squib appears to be around 35-40 floors below the actual collapse when it first appears. I froze the the squib from the video and made a "still" . I am guessing the debunkers will claim this was caused from "air pressure," which would mean the other 35-40 floors were "air tight." (impossible)

BAGHDAD, Oct. 10 — A team of American and Iraqi public health researchers has estimated that 600,000 civilians have died in violence across Iraq since the 2003 American invasion, the highest estimate ever for the toll of the war here.

A New Estimate of Civilian Deaths The figure breaks down to about 15,000 violent deaths a month, a number that is quadruple the one for July given by Iraqi government hospitals and the morgue in Baghdad and published last month in a United Nations report in Iraq. That month was the highest for Iraqi civilian deaths since the American invasion.

For its October 16 issue, the New Yorker’s Nicholas Lemann has penned what I would call a soft-hit-piece on 9/11 Truth, entitled: “Paranoid Style---How conspiracy theories become news.” The article does a kind of meta-handwaving-dismissal, not by poo-pooing the Truth Movement directly, but instead by pish-poshing the coverage (in the news and documentary film) of Truth research. The implication here is that the coverage is just an inevitable by-product to some doubly inconsequential fringe cult, so never you mind anything else you may see in print or on screen.
The method is duly served by the New Yorker’s characterization of Richard Hofstadter, the ideological father behind conspiracy-theory-derision, as having been “one of the country’s leading intellectuals,” and then going on to treat his superficial, supercilious bull-shill as exhaustive explanation for the unfortunate “phenomenon” of conspiracy theoretics. Case in point? What else? Loose Change. About that, the writer, with the smug distraction characteristic of all the New Yorker’s most deliciously insubstantial pontifications, opines: “To engage in huffy denunciation of the journalistic shortcomings of ‘Loose Change’ would probably not change the minds of many of its fans.” Of course we know it’s not worth your time kind sir, but you favor us with examples yet! “Commercial flights did not hit the World Trade Center and Pentagon…United Flight 93 was diverted to Cleveland and its passengers taken to an empty NASA research facility…two AA flights that crashed that morning had not been scheduled to fly…” etc. [Editor’s note: LC guys, what was that part about the NASA warehouse all about, anyway?]

As 9/11 family member Donna Marsh O'Connor said at the National Press Club on 9/11/2006, "this Government has made me a victim of Conspiracy Theories, because they haven't answered fully, or allowed anyone to ask the true questions of September 11th."

Instead of answering all of the questions put forward by the 9/11 Family Steering Committee, and others, the Government, through the media, has labeled those with questions as "Conspiracy Theorists", and several other "colorful" adjectives.

Just wanted to get some thoughts about this writeup:

"As the fires blazed and the temperatures rose within the buildings, NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) believes, the remaining core columns (those not severed by the planes during impact) softened and buckled, transferring most of the load to the building's outer structural columns. The floors . . . began to sag from the heat, pulling those columns inward and adding to the burden on the outer columns."

Debunking: For anyone who as actually watched the WTC video's carefully, you will note that the south tower was struck near the corner, almost insuring it sustained NO damage to the central core columns. It also had by far the largest fireball produced, indicating a substantially larger portion of the fuel was burned in the initial impact and for the most part outside the building. Oddly, it was the south tower which fell first after burning for only 55 minutes, and at a point when the fires had greatly diminished.

In addition, as given by Kevin Ryan who was responsible for the thermal testing of the WTC Steel when it was certified, the samples tested for the WTC were certified to withstand a temperature of 2,000 deg for 6 hours without failing their rated load characteristics. And that is without insulation. The WTC beams were insulated. Jet fuel burns at only 1200-1300 degrees with an ideal oxygen mixture, something not indicated by the black smoke that issued from the fires. There was nothing contained within the buildings that could have raised this figure, and those that use the example of ancient furnaces that tempered steel as a argument, again, do not understand the principles involved. I suggest that if you want the truth, and wish to actually act like a journalist for a change, you broach this subject with a real expert, Mr. Ryan. I can put you in touch with him upon request.

Hello dear researchers and wordsmiths...

Working on a new letter to be handed out in the style of 911courage.org (http://911courage.org/linked_docs/truth_telling_letter.pdf) which has already received a mixed response at the Department of Justice, and a surprisingly receptive response at the Department of State (several voiced their solidarity with the truth movement, one even made a u-turn to voice his clear disgust at the "very strange activities" at the Pentagon where he claimed to be on the dark day).

This new letter is to be geared for FAA and NTSB workers. Appealing to their better nature, commitment to the Constitution, intellectual honesty, augmented by boldness and bravery to leak (unauthorized, if need be) documentation to We the People.

Currently, We would like more clarity on these areas. You all, are invited to suggest better avenues, or more pointed questions. Thanks in advance.

1.) Affirmation of the authenticity of the FDR (Flight Data Recorder) log which can not be made to fit the Official Narrative of that recorder descending low enough to strike the Pentagon.

2.) Why, for heaven's sake, has the NTSB failed to offer a report correlating the multitude of survivable serial numbers from time-change service parts of the four aircraft with their home-base maintenance log books?

An Algerian pilot mistakenly accused of training the 11 September hijackers has won the right to challenge a decision not to compensate him.

Lotfi Raissi was never charged with any terrorism offence but spent five months in Belmarsh high security prison.

Although a judge later said there was no evidence linking Mr Raissi to terrorism, the Home Office said he was not entitled to compensation.

On May 22 and 23, 2003, the 9/11 Independent Commission held its second set of public hearings, focusing on the issue of air defense. It’s not surprising if you haven’t heard about this, because the hearings were poorly covered by the media, with major papers such as the New York Times and Los Angeles Times failing to write any articles on them.

That’s unfortunate, because the hearings were important, and the issue of air defense is critically so. Could at least some of the 9/11 attacks have been stopped if the US air defense system had reacted faster? We need to know the answers and identify possible failures if we are to prevent future attacks from succeeding.

The heads of the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), the Transportation Department, NORAD (the North American Aerospace Defense Command, in charge of defending America’s airspace), and others testified before this commission hearing. Unfortunately, many of their statements consisted of evasions, lies, and spin. Their statements will be examined more closely below. But before that, it is important to ask, what intelligence warnings could have led to an improved defensive posture by 9/11, and what actions were taken to improve the nation’s defense against terrorism before 9/11?

Last night RT was again in Harvard Square when a young man, no more than 18, asked if he had seen the website Loosechangeguide.com. RT made it clear to this guy that he was aware Loose Change wasn't a perfect account of what happened on 9/11, but that other documentaries like 9/11 Mysteries were available that made the case for controlled demolition. Had I read the Popular Mechanics book Debunking 9/11 Myths he asked. RT couldn't help but laugh, and asked the young man if he could explain the molten steel found in the rubble piles and seen dripping out of the South Tower. Well, the steel didn't have to melt for the towers to collapse, he assured me. Not the point I clarified--it was there. Well, I know that that was explained by experts. Really? By whom, I asked. Well, I can't remember. Well, what was their explanation? I don't remember. But it made sense when I read it. OK, I said, get back to me when you can explain it. OK he said. Minutes later, he returned. He brought a copy of the Popular Mechanics hack job and flipped throught he pages to the part where the molten steel was explained. Basically, according to PM, three (unnamed) "experts" claim that the fires in the rubble pile, because they were covered in rubble and not subject to loss of heat through the air (and presumably not having air didn't keep them from burning) the pile became hotter and hotter, which melted the steel. Yes, that was it. Three unnamed experts and a completely absurd claim. Wow. I want you to have this book the kid said. I want to give it to you and I want you to read it. OK, I said, thank you. I want YOU to watch this DVD. Please. OK. Thank you. The truth marches, or in some cases crawls, on.

I'm on the verge of having this story published that is set in the context of a teacher discussing with his students what an inarguable nightmare Bush and his enabling Republicans are. Most of the students are portrayed by people of notoriety so it has a lot of humor despite how infuriating it is. I'm sending it out to like-minded people to help get the buzz going. It is my impression that the large percentage of people that still clearly cannot see the truth do so under their own will and not because the information is too indepth or lengthy for them to study. And even if these people could be convinced, a large percentage of them will say "Yeah so what am I supposed to do about it?" Such is the condition of the sheep mentality and nothing but taking their televisions, cell phones, and football away from them will alter their true perceptions.

And a step further is to ask ourselves how much can really be accomplished in exposing the truth? It is evident that all branches of the government have been compromised. Legislators are monitored by PTech and funded by America Inc., judges and law enforcerment are promoted based upon subserviance, and voting has become nearly meaningless in certain states without audit trails. additionally, a civil rights-style crowd hosing could also prove worthlesss, as the media is most definitely working for someone other than the masses.

Then there is peak oil, which is the bread and butter of the entire 911 event. But going into what should really be being discussed is not within the realm of this website and would be going even further off of the scope than I already have.

I am awake, I see it all now. Too many people get wrapped up in news stories weather it be for 911 truth or against it. All you really need to do is look at past and present history, look with logic and not listen to chatter. Well I am here,I am looking forward to walking with the non-sleepers ad the land of cold hard reality.

[Almost no one who opposes the idea of U.S. government involvement in 9/11 has seriously confronted Crossing The Rubicon by Mike Ruppert. And sadly, many in the 9/11 truth movement who do embrace the notion of U.S. government involvement will not deal with Rubicon. While Weinberg did at least deal with the contents of Rubicon, his arguments are extremely fallacious as Michael Kane explains in this report.

With US mid-term elections one month away, it is not surprising to find Washington’s elite criminal factions (neocon and neoliberal) engaged in a new game of political chicken over 9/11 red herrings. The appearance of bickering hides the fact that operatives of both factions are lying. Both sides are cynically continuing the massive bipartisan cover-up of 9/11 and the “war on terrorism."

Undeniable fact: all of Washington “knew” about 9/11

It is an amply documented fact -- no news whatsoever -- that the Bush administration had absolute foreknowledge of 9/11, and deliberately ignored warnings received within the US and from officials and intelligence agencies outside the US.

As written by Michel Chossudovsky, “the foreknowledge issue itself is a red herring, a fallacy in which an irrelevant topic is presented in order to divert attention from the original issue . . . Of course the Bush administration knew." Of course Washington “knew” about its own false flag operation. Of course Washington “knew” about using its own covert intelligence network. Of course Washington “knows” that 9/11 was an intelligence “success," not an intelligence “failure."

This was the first place American troops were sent. It's often referred to as the "forgotten war" because the media barely covers it anymore.

The objective of the invasion? To hunt down and kill Osama Bin Laden. Instead, we let him escape through Tora Bora.

The Taliban has resurfaced, and is coming on strong. The country now provides 92% of the world's opium.

The murders that took place on 9/11, were a crime. As Donna Marsh O'Connor said, committed by men. Not a country. By men.

I think it's important we found out who those men were, and not hold an entire country accountable for the actions of a few.

The administration's claim that terrorists crashing planes into buildings was not foreseeable is contradicted by numerous sources:

The CIA Director had warned congress shortly before 9/11 "that there could be an attack, an imminent attack, on the United States of this nature. So this is not entirely unexpected" according to a broadcast on National Public Radio

According to MSNBC, "There have been a slew of reports over the past decade of plots to use planes to strike American targets".

In 1994, the government received information that international terrorists "had seriously considered the use of airplanes as a means of carrying out terrorist attacks" (see also this article).

In 1998, U.S. officials received reports concerning a "Bin Laden plot involving aircraft in the New York and Washington, areas." Officials received reports that al Qaeda was trying to establish an operative cell in the United States and that bin Laden was attempting to recruit a group of five to seven young men from the United States to travel to the Middle East for training in conjunction with his plans to strike U.S. domestic targets. Indeed, the report concluded that "a group of unidentified Arabs planned to fly an explosive-laden plane . . . into the World Trade Center".

A 1999 report for the National Intelligence Council warned that fanatics loyal to bin Laden might try to hijack a jetliner and fly it into the Pentagon..

In July 2001, a briefing prepared for senior government officials warned of "a significant terrorist attack against U.S. and/or Israeli interests in the coming weeks. The attack will be spectacular and designed to inflict mass casualties ... (it) will occur with little or no warning.".
