Byron Pitts is the CBS reporter who, on 9/11, said: "About an hour ago World Trade Center Building No. 7 collapsed. A 42 [sic] story building, weakened by the devastation that had occurred earlier today... This was the one calamity that was not a surprise."

It is quite interesting that Pitts would have said this given that no steel framed skyscraper had ever collapsed from a fire. Anthony from Ohio, along with members of WeAreChange Chicago, spoke with Pitts at a book signing in a Chicago Borders store, and mentioned Pitts' report about how the building's "collapse" was not a surprise. I started to type an essay here but I just deleted a bunch of text, shall keep this short and just say: watch. :-) But basically, he maintains his allegiance to the OCT (and also the greatness of American Freedom of Press) while letting a few kernels of truth out, particularly about the present day corrupt nature of the media, here and there. He's very friendly and non-defensive, and doesn't get nervous over a bunch of truth activists showing up and raising legit points, which is at least a good thing. I wonder what kinds of things he would say on the subject at a party with no camera rolling.

Phone Calls from the 9/11 Airliners: Response to Questions Evoked by My Fifth Estate Interview by Prof David Ray Griffin

On November 27, 2009, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s Fifth Estate program aired a show entitled “9/11: The Unofficial Story,”¹ for which I, along with a few other members of the 9/11 Truth Movement, was interviewed. In the most important part of my interview, I pointed out that, according to the FBI’s report on phone calls from the airliners provided in 2006 for the Moussaoui trial, Barbara Olson’s only call from Flight 77 was “unconnected” and hence lasted “0 seconds.” Although this Fifth Estate program showed only a brief portion of my discussion of alleged phone calls from the 9/11 airliners, its website subsequently made available a 22-minute video containing this discussion.²

Once again, an episode which is worth posting here because the subject of Manchurian Candidates is extremely interconnected to black ops, psyops, assassinations, and the secret world of terror that our clandestine agencies orchestrate.

As with all the other Ventura episodes, this one seems to be 95% good, credible info mixed in with the 5% which appears to discredit. The show proves beyond a shadow of doubt that military-based mind control is a very real thing, and interviews people who have been involved with the so-called "MK Ultra" black ops in addition to showing us screenshots of the declassified CIA MK Ultra documents.

So what's the 5% disinfo? Our good ol' friend General Albert Stubblebine, talking about how it's possible to stare at a goat and explode its heart. Jesse asks what is the evidence for this; Stubblebine says "I've been shown a few examples" but then refuses to comment further. (Roll eyes)

Other than that, a very enlightening episode indeed!

There's an issue that's been on my mind for a little while and I've never really brought it up here, front and center. I welcome people's opinions.

So far, we've had several "official stories" and on multiple levels. For example, we've had several official explanations, from various people and agencies, as to why the buildings collapsed.

We've also had several official explanations for how 9/11 was "allowed" to happen. In the first few years or so after the attacks, the official dogma was that this was such an unprecedented, unimaginable attack, that no one could have possibly been prepared for what was coming, as captured by Condoleeza Rice's famous remark. We could call this Official Story V. 1.0.

During that initial period, it was considered "unpatriotic" to go as far as to even suggest incompetence. Remember Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11? Remember how so many Republicans felt Moore should be hung from the highest tree for even suggesting that the Bush administration was incompetent? How DARE he criticize the president so harshly during a time of war, they thought.

This is a really powerful and heartbreaking video with which to bid farewell to this sad, war torn decade.

Incidentally, as I'm watching and listening to this, particularly the soldiers who are reflecting on racism, I can't help but think: Those "blue voting, left-of-center, antiwar, anti-Bush admin" citizens out there who still cling to the OCT of 9/11 and insist that "9/11 truthers are discrediting the antiwar movement and making us look crazy," are likely stalling the speed of our success more than the Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh dittoheads.

This episode of Jesse Ventura definitely does deserve to be posted and discussed here, as domestic spying is obviously directly related to 9/11 and its aftermath. Watch and discuss!

A week ago, I was excited to hear that one of CIT's critics accepted Craig's challenge to step up to the plate and engage in live, recorded debate.

John Bursill debated Craig Ranke on 12/19/09 and the entire conversations lasted longer than most full-length motion pictures! Paul Tassopulos of Artists for 9/11 Truth recorded and hosted the debate, although he virtually never stepped in as a moderator.

John has posted his own essay writeup over at the 911oz forum; maybe he'll submit it here too. While John and Craig still have specific disagreements mostly centering on choice of words and method of approaching people (i.e. whether to call the flyover scenario "proof" or a "working hypothesis"), I was surprised to see him graciously concede the following point:

Excellent interview with Dr. Griffin. He especially notes how the FBI itself admits that there was only one connection attempt made from Barbara Olson, which lasted "zero seconds," not to mention that Ted kept changing his story, first saying she called him on a seatback phone, then cell phone, then seatback again. And given that out of all the supposed 9/11 phone calls, Olson is the only passenger to mention "boxcutters," the FBI's admission is an intriguing one indeed.

Federal Judge Dieter Deiseroth: It is very unfortunate that the media is not prepared to face the issue of 9/11 and ask the unanswered questions

Question: Do you think the proposal of an independent 9/11 investigation to be realistic?

Judge Dieter Deiseroth:: I think the suggestion is reasonable and necessary. Because the official investigation is the central justification for the war ( "Operation Enduring Freedom") and for serious alterations of the U.S. legal system under the so-called homeland security legislation.

Question: This should be difficult because neither politics nor the big media, dare to question the official version of 9/11 critically.

Some of this is standard hit piece rhetoric, but some other parts underscore why it is important to be critical of the Ventura episode.

Dr. David Ray Griffin's Review of

"The Ground Truth: The Untold Story of America Under Attack on 9/11", by John Farmer

Although John Farmer's "The Ground Truth" has attracted a lot of favorable attention, it is a deeply flawed book, containing misleading claims and providing an extremely one-sided account of 9/11.

Much of the attention received by the book has been prompted by misleading claims made by Farmer and his publisher. The book's dust-jacket calls it the "definitive account" of 9/11, but it actually deals almost entirely with only one question about that day: why the airliners were not intercepted.

As of this moment that I'm typing this, there are no comments in the feedback section. In particular, we should respond to what I feel is the most egregious statement in the article: "As probably should be expected with any conspiracy theorizing, the Truthers' side strains the boundaries of credibility."

Interestingly, the article concedes that the movement is "gaining steam," much to the chagrin of our anti-truth opposition which loves to claim that the movement has been losing steam since the 5th anniversary.

Watching the amateur video evidence of 9/11 has not gotten easier with time.

This is many ways could be a more important opportunity than the tenth anniversary.

Does anyone remember when the Alex Jones crowd overpowered the corporate media at the Democratic National Convention last year?

We need this to happen outside the courthouse where KSM will be tried, a thousand times over what we saw at the DNC.

While those corporate pundits are standing there getting paid millions to keep us in the dark, we will use our voices and several bullhorns and overwhelm the corporate airwaves with truth!

At a point when many Americans have a "it was a long time ago" attitude about 9/11 and even the corporate media doesn't talk about it much, this is a golden opportunity.
