Osama Bin Laden is dead – prove it
May 2, 2011 08:04 EDT

Abottabad | Al Qaeda | Bin Laden | fake | Pakistan | Photoshop

When the news broke that Osama Bin Laden was dead, at the Reuters Global Pictures Desk in Singapore all we could think was one thing: We have to see the picture of the dead body. The world needed the tangible proof of a genuine photo before we could really absorb the idea that the world’s most sought and also most elusive Islamic extremist was dead. We also knew that the news agency that was first in sending a picture of his dead body to the world would go a long way to winning this historic story. Sending out a fake picture could be very embarrassing to say the least – a tough balancing act when under such pressure.

A few hours later there it was circulating on the internet: Osama Bin Laden’s bloodied face in a video transmitted by a TV station in Pakistan. Under tremendous pressure we could get the picture and fed it into our picture editing system in preparation for transmission around the globe.

Osama Bin Laden never charged for 911 - Inside Job likely

Osama Bin Laden's death is being celebrated, and everyone seems to repeat the old conspiracy theory that he was indeed the mastermind behind the terror attacks of 9/11. But that was never proven, and there is not even evidence hinting at such a connection according to the FBI. It is very well possible that completely different organizations than al-Qaeda were responsible for the planning and execution of 9/11, and that the latter was merely one of the involved parties.

Osama Bin Laden was never formally charged, because the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation didn't deliver the necessary evidence to the Department of Justice, which would be the required path in this matter. Another explanation for the lack of criminal charges was brought forward by Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld at the time, who said that the 911 attack was an act of war and not a law enforcement matter. But this mere redefining of the attack doesn't explain why no evidence would be needed to proof who was behind the attacks, and how it was accomplished. Just for comparison, the airplanes that attacked Pearl Harbor were clearly Japanese, and they didn't come from nowhere, but were launched from aircraft carriers within range.

If anyone is surprised by this fact, which one could be excused for as it is very rarely mentioned by your friendly television pundit, read for yourself what Rex Tom, FBI Director of Investigative Publicity, stated in 2006 about the FBI's position:

“The FBI gathers evidence. Once evidence is gathered, it is turned over to the Department of Justice. The Department of Justice then decides whether it has enough evidence to present to a federal grand jury. In the case of the 1998 United States Embassies being bombed, bin Laden has been formally indicted and charged by a grand jury. He has not been formally indicted and charged in connection with 9/11 because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting bin Laden to 9/11.”

Now, in a constitutional state in which the exercise of governmental power is constrained by the rule of law - which usually assumes the innocence of an individual if not proven otherwise by a formal trial before appropriate courts - this lack of evidence to even bring forward charges and start a trial could have been a hindrance.

The U.S. government saw it differently and bombed Afghanistan just weeks after September 9, 2001, as usual without a formal declaration of war, with one of the top priorities "to capture or kill Osama Bin Laden". It doesn't even need mentioning that the waterboarding in Guantanamo Bay of various detainees rounded up without charges is beyond anything that a constitutional government could ever do. From the moment of ordering unconstitutional torture and wars, any government simply ceases to be constitutional.

We Killed Him by Father Emmanuel Charles McCarthy

Friends,

Here something perhaps to think about as this powerful government and media tsunami of evil rushes across America. This morning after Mass a well educated 80 year old nun jubilantly came up to me to tell me how wonderful it was that we kill Osama Bin Laden. I asked if that is what Jesus would have done, or if He would be so positively elated about one human being slaughtering another? She said we had to kill him after what he did to us on 911 and might do again. I left with ever deeps sense that there was something terrible evil going on in the Catholic Church, so deep and so all permeating that we breath it in like air with no ability to see its awful personal and communal spiritual toxicity. But all it took to recognize that the depth of this evil in the Church is far from limited to the Catholic Church, when I turned on the TV and saw almost an entire society debauching itself in the erotic pleasure of revenge with the media egging them on, entering into it and advertising it. Hopefully at least the bishops, priests ministers and pastors of the various Christian Churches will take this moment to catechize their people that jubilation over revenge and/or human destruction is participation in the spirt of evil and can never be Christlike nor glorify the Father of all.

WE Killed Him.

aren’t we great!

and, when we find out he was innocent, then what?

do we then call ourselves murderers?

do we then call those, who set him up as a scapegoat, patsy and media strawman in order to conceal what really happened and who really is resposible, murderers?

Or, do we give them the Nobel peace Prize, the medal of freedom, the gandhi Peace Prize, the medal of honor?

The killing of Osama Bin Laden by shooting him in the face, if it really was Osama bin Laden who was killed, and the ceaseless and extravagant media hype surrounding it, in no way invalidates a single piece of the scientific evidence that has been gathered which proves that according to the laws of physics the three WTC buildings could not have been destroyed, as they were, by a plane flying into two of them. Nor, does it invalidate any of the other incontestable documented evidence that reveals the 911 Government Commission Report and the official Government story to be a fabrication beyond a reasonable doubt.

To this point the 9/11 truth movement has been inexplicably shutout of the major peace movement who should be our natural allies. Let’s make them our allies. We can vote our way on to the peace movement's stage as a full coalition member at the National Peace Conference in Albany, NY on July 23-25, 2010 (www.nationalpeaceconference.org).

911 and nonviolence

Submission to 911 blogger:

The issues I feel qualified to address tonight are primarily 2:

1) It is more valuable to show greater courage than it is to just put out more information. My website 911courage.org covers such things as nonviolent civil disobedience and leafleting federal agencies for whistleblowers.

2) Debunkers and especially 911 gatekeepers need to be treated with respect. I was radicalized by Noam Chomsky. My activism has been the best part of my life. I’ll never hate him. I just disagree with him on the 9/11 issue.

Below are initial pieces to consider

The Power Dynamic of Nonviolence

If you can persist in the face of repression,
you communicate to your adversary that what they’re
doing isn’t so much bad, which it probably is, as much
as it is ineffective. Then you begin to drive a wedge
between the liberals and conservatives in power. The
liberals moan and complain, ”They’re making us look so
bad, can’t we think of something to give them to get
them to go away?” The conservatives respond, “No, no,
no. If we’re a little more brutal, we can break them.”
Nevertheless, IF you can persist in the face of
repression, you push that wedge further and further
