Ten years later, some—like Randy—still believe in Sept. 11 conspiracy theories
After the sustained media frenzy of the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, most people are probably ready to move on. I offer this question as a starting point for the next 10 years: "Sure, but move on to what?"
Based on the past 10 years, we can expect more wars that have little to do with Sept. 11, but will sacrifice the lives of far more Americans than the 3,000 who died that day, as well as the lives of many, many more foreign civilians. Our government will continue to justify and codify torture as an indispensable element of U.S. foreign policy and subvert the civil liberties upon which this nation was founded. And we'll face the harsh reality that such actions cause suffering and resentment that generate more terrorism.
Excuse me for jumping to the conclusion that we're moving in the wrong direction.
Here's an alternative: Why not start with a real investigation of the events of Sept. 11? I mean a full-on, independent criminal investigation, with prosecutors, subpoenas and the whole nine yards, not the half-assed, politically constrained nonsense churned out by the 9/11 Commission. I think we owe the victims of this massive crime nothing less.

NYPD confirms CIA officer works at department
Aug 25 07:08 PM US/Eastern
By EILEEN SULLIVAN
WASHINGTON (AP) - New York's police commissioner confirmed Thursday that a CIA officer is working out of police headquarters there, after an Associated Press investigation revealed an unusual partnership with the CIA that has blurred the line between foreign and domestic spying. But he and the CIA said the spy agency's role at the department is an advisory one.
Speaking to reporters in New York, commissioner Raymond Kelly acknowledged that the CIA trains NYPD officers on "trade craft issues," meaning espionage techniques, and advises police about events happening overseas. Kelly also said he was unaware of any other U.S. police department with a similar relationship with the CIA.
"They are involved in providing us with information, usually coming from perhaps overseas and providing it to us for, you know, just for our purposes," Kelly said.
CIA spokeswoman Jennifer Youngblood said the agency does not spy inside the United States and also described the relationship with the NYPD as collaborative.
"Our cooperation, in coordination with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is exactly what the American people deserve and have come to expect following 9/11," she said.

Recent developments among supporters of the US government’s version of events indicate that they plan to begin blaming Saudi Arabia for the attacks of September 11, 2001. There is, in fact, much evidence suggesting complicity by some elements within the Saudi government. But that fact only further implicates western powers due to the close relationship between the Saudi royal family, which runs the Saudi government, and deep state controlling interests that have partnered with and manipulated the Saudi royal family for many decades. Blaming Saudi Arabia would, however, make a lot of sense if seizing resources, including the world’s greatest oil reserves, was what the war on terror has always been about.
The author is indebted to the good people at History Commons for their “Complete 9/11 Timeline.” If a reference is not evident below, it can probably be found there.
A recent interview with former “Counterterrorism Czar,” Richard Clarke, is making a splash in the alternative media. In this interview, Clarke speculates about CIA malfeasance related to the pre-9/11 monitoring of two alleged September 11 hijackers. This interview is somewhat interesting due to Clarke’s vague suggestion that the CIA had courted 9/11 suspects as sources, but it is far more interesting for what was not said with regard to Clarke’s personal history and associations.
The explosive nature of nanothermite
By Kevin Ryan
In the last few years, a series of peer-reviewed scientific articles has been published that establish the presence of thermitic materials at the World Trade Center (WTC). [A-D]
Although we know that nanothermite has been found in the WTC dust, we do not know what purpose it served in the deceptive demolition of the WTC buildings. It could be that the nanothermite was used simply to drive fires in the impact zones and elevator areas – fires which would otherwise have gone out too early or not been present at all – and thereby create the deception that jet fuel-induced fires could wreak the havoc seen. Nanothermite might also have been used to produce the explosions necessary to destroy the structural integrity of the buildings.
Your support is needed for our appeal of a recent ruling by the U.S. District Court of Nevada which erroneously blocked access to responsive records from the FBI regarding the Pentagon attack and the cockpit voice recording from United Airlines flight 93. An attorney specializing in the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is representing the plaintiff in this case at a reduced public interest rate. Funds will be applied to appeal court filing fees, the creation of required appeal briefs, and attorney travel expenses to the hearing to provide in-person oral arguments before the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco, California in this matter.
Unfortunately, the legal services being provided cannot continue beyond what can be paid for. Please donate today so that this extensive effort to obtain long awaited 9/11 information can be completed.
Dont miss the comments.
In continuation of the recent post:
The briefing phase of federal litigation seeking the release of never before seen 9/11 FBI records is now complete and the final decision rests with the assigned judge. The records at issue include evidence collection records from the much debated Pentagon and Shanksville crash scenes, records establishing much debated in-flight phone calls reportedly placed on 9/11 and a never before heard audio recording from one 9/11 flight. The defendants have relied on a large body of legal experts working to prevent the release of these records. A public interest FOIA attorney has provided assistance at a reduced public interest rate and has volunteered their services toward any need to appeal to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Final funds toward these generously provided expert services are needed. Thank you in advance for your support. Updates on the status of this litigation will be provided as soon as they become available.
It is my understanding that Public Safety Canada was provided with a mandate enacted on March 23rd 2005 by the Government
of Canada to ensure that Canadians are safe from a range of risks such as natural disasters, crime, and terrorism. The
Department has stated that there is no more fundamental role for government than the protection of its citizens. I write you then
in an open letter as a private citizen regarding the Government of Canada's official disposition to the events of 9/11, and all
derived matters predicated there upon.
In regards to the previous fundraiser: http://911blogger.com/news/2010-10-20/foia-funds-request, an additional $250 to cover assessed FOIA processing fees is needed, so that the court’s review of FOIA requests for many important 9/11 FBI investigative records regarding the Pentagon, Shanksville, American Airlines flight 11 and United Airlines flight 175 can proceed. Thank you again for your support.

Nothing moves through the path of most resistance, and certainly not the human mind. A recent article written by journalist Robert Parry has provided another good example of this long-standing fact. In that article, Parry exhibits an astonishing lack of knowledge about the truth movement and the questions posed by honest 9/11 skeptics as he attempts to publicly denigrate those questions and people. The well-respected journalist Parry provides excellent examples, throughout his article, of how normally reasoned and well-researched professionals can suddenly turn into people who cannot deal with facts or evidence. Unfortunately, Parry’s comments are correct in one sense as demonstrated by another article published in response to his. For some people, the 9/11 truth movement is a parlor game.
