Why Hasn’t Rudy Giuliani Read the 9-11 Commission Report?

May 16, 2007

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ARLINGTON, VA – During the "First in the South" GOP debate in South Carolina last night, one thing was made clear: Rudy Giuliani does not understand how to keep America safe.

When Congressman Ron Paul, who has long served on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, explained how 50 years of American interventionism in the Middle East has helped compromise our national security, Giuliani interrupted saying he had "never heard anything so absurd." This statement is particularly troubling coming from the former mayor who tries to cast himself as a security expert, since Dr. Paul's point comes directly from the bi-partisan 9-11 Commission Report.

"Rudy Giuliani has tip-toed around the issues of abortion, guns and marriage. The only issue he has left is security, and he doesn't even get that right," said campaign chairman Kent Snyder. "It is clear from his interruption that former Mayor Giuliani has not read the 9-11 Commission Report and has no clue on how to keep America safe."

"Not (of course) counting the hijackers"

Around 6:00 in the evening on 9/11 ABC's Lynn Sherr gave a rundown of the airplanes and number of passengers. Somehow, she knew that the hijackers were not included in the passenger lists or statistics she was given.

"Total number of passengers and crew, two hundred and sixty-six people, not (of course) counting the hijackers"

How does she know that the hijackers are not included in the 266?

Maybe someone can tactfully ask her.

I had not seen the entire interview, he gives a detailed account of his experience.

archive.org data request

Early Monday morning, after reading the initial blog post (http://911blogger.com/node/6458) I located a list of what raw news files were available via archive.org (posted below) and downloaded as much as possible because it was obvious that this was too good to continue. As the story broke the content was removed. Timestamps indicate the data had been available for a few weeks if not longer.

Every one of these files is "in the wild" and I bet that a few people were able to get all of them. Below I have posted what I was able to download. Please help fill in the missing files or missing links. If you can help, contact me via http://911blogger.com/user/1665/contact and we will arrange a data transfer. The goal is to make this entire archive available via bittorrent. I'll host the trackers on the moon if necessary.
