According to a recent article, Chinese hackers were able to gain access to one of the US governments most sensitive computer networks, a system used by the White House military office for nuclear commands. Cyber security has been a hot topic and many are worried that China will not stop trying to penetrate the US governments computer networks. More and more people from all walks of life and all professions seem to be questioning the “official” narrative of what happened on 9/11. Those who are questioning the events of 9/11 may be moving under the radar of the corporate media from being labeled “conspiracy theorists” to legitimate investigators with legitimate questions and concerns.

A good example is Jesse Ventura’s recent appearance on CNN’s Piers Morgan. Ventura, an ex-navy SEAL and former governor of Minnesota who hosts a program on TruTV called “Conspiracy Theory,” appeared on Morgan’s show last week. After discussing 9/11, Morgan tried to dismiss Ventura and said he has “crackpot” ideas. Ventura then asked the audience, “How many people think I make crackpot points?” Only one audience member acknowledged. He then asked, “How many people think I make sensible points?” Almost the entire audience applauded him. See video here. That segment can be found at 32:10.

A week and a half ago, two young men plotted a terrorist attack outside a bar in Chicago - and it turns out the plot was mostly put out together by the FBI. The two men were reportedly encouraged for months and months by undercover agents, who eventually supplied them with a fake bomb. In January I sued President Barack Obama over Section 1021(b)(2) of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which authorized the military to detain U.S. citizens indefinitely, strip them of due process and hold them in military facilities, including offshore penal colonies. Last week, round one in the battle to strike down the onerous provision, one that saw me joined by six other plaintiffs including Noam Chomsky and Daniel Ellsberg, ended in an unqualified victory for the public. U.S. District Judge Katherine Forrest, who accepted every one of our challenges to the law, made her temporary injunction of the section permanent. In short, she declared the law unconstitutional.

On Wednesday, a Federal judge made permanent an injunction barring the indefinite detention of Americans without charge under the National Defense Authorization Act. The group of plaintiffs in this case comprised of seven journalists claiming this piece of legislation jeopardizes their livelihood. Their argument was that under the NDAA they could be detained indefinitely for just reporting on the violence in the Middle-East and interacting with terrorists. "9ll truth ...The Experts Speak Out," a movie on the alleged conspiracy to cover up the truth of the 911 attacks, showed recently in the Wellfleet library. (It's available on YouTube.) I was vaguely aware that there was some controversy, but I was shocked to learn that, according to reputable polls, a majority of Americans don't believe the official version of what happened on that fateful day. (Google "911 Polls — You Are Not Alone".)

The movie is pretty convincing. An impressive number of accredited architects and engineers are on record refuting the idea that the jets we all saw hitting the buildings could have brought the buildings down. Instead, they say, it's obvious to a professional that the buildings came down in the fashion of textbook controlled demolition: straight down, neatly landing in their own footprints. In other words, an inside job.

The now notorious Building 7, not even hit by a plane, came down hours later, also like a classic controlled demolition.
