Prosecute the NIST for Obstruction of Justice

NIST may have deliberately lied about the collapse of Building 7 --said to have been 'pulled' even by Larry Silverstein, its owner. The NIST, charged with investigating the building's collapse, is still trying to peddle the absurd ex post facto rationalization that 'heat expansion' or some other fancy sounding made up word/phrase is responsible for the perfectly symmetrical collapse of a building that had never been struck by aircraft.

Lies about crimes are crimes. 911 was a crime. Lies about 911 are obstructions of justice. NIST lied about 911 and now, a group urging a real investigation of 911, is suing to charge NIST with obstruction of justice.

The Green Party has yet another reason to be proud that we supported Cynthia McKinney for President.

You all know by now that the situation in Gaza has gone from intolerable to even worse. A tiny open-air prison with 1.5 million inhabitants, created by border closings and a near total blockade, is now being bombed by the Isreali Army using US military equipment. The humanitarian disaster that accompanies any bombing is aggravated by the lack of equipment and supplies at the hospitals that are swamped by the wounded.

What is Obama doing during his vacation? I'll quote one of my favorite blogs, which says it better than I could: And Barack Obama ... had a spokesmodel say that he was "closely monitoring global events." It is, literally, the very least he can do. The spokesmodel also muttered something about there being only one president at a time, which evidently precludes Obama from responding publicly to this slaughter as a, you know, human being.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice defended the last eight years of President Bush's policies as an achievement that is not reflected in the lowest approval ratings of all time.

Rice said it won't be long before Bush's contributions to the world will be acknowledged and that recognition of big achievements sometimes take a long time.

"I think generations pretty soon are going to start to thank this president for what he's done," Rice said in CBS interview Sunday. "This generation will."

Asked what grade she would give the administration on foreign policy, Rice said some decisions merited an "A-plus" while others "deserve a lot less." But she remained adamant that Bush's central decision to invade Iraq was the right one.

Terrible and bloody events are in store for the world in the beginning of 2009. There is every reason to believe that the Russian Federation may suffer as a result of this possible initiative too.

Joe Biden made a sensational statement on October 19, 2008. He said that Barack Obama would have to undergo an ordeal during the first six months of his stay in the White House. It will be the time of a very serious international crisis, when Obama would have to make tough and possibly unpopular decisions both in home and foreign politics.

Entrapment? Five convicted in Ft. Dix plot

Five men whom attorneys said paid FBI informants prodded into exploring their deepest fantasies about waging jihad on America were convicted in federal court Monday of conspiring to kill US soldiers but acquitted on attempted murder charges.

The men allegedly planned to attack Fort Dix in New Jersey, although defense lawyers argued that they never intended to carry out the plot and were drawn into making incriminating statements by the informants, one of whom was an illegal immigrant on probation for bank fraud and another who was paid $150,000 to secretly record the men.

The verdict was met with intense skepticism in the Muslim community.

"Many people in the Muslim community will see this as a case of entrapment," Jim Sues, executive director of the New Jersey chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, told the Associated Press.

Sues attended five days of testimony during the trial.

"From what I saw, there was a significant role played by the government informant."
