From Mar 8 to Mar 19 I will be away on a speaking event in Sydney, Australia. On March 15th, I will give the keynote address to the Truth Now Conference. The title is "Some Dare Call It Treason." It looks into how both our countries got into the Iraq War. The following day I will give another talk entitled "A Call to All True Australian Patriots to Ask Questions and Demand Answers." This session deals more broadly with the "War on Terror." We will also be on several panels during the conference. Among the other speakers will be Dr Helen Caldicott, Prof Steven Jones, Barrie Zwicker of Canada, and Willie Rodriguez (the hero of the WTC towers).

Maggie is not going with me. She is in the middle of rehearsing "The Fantasticks", which she is directing. It will play in Melbourne, Florida throughout April.

How a Three-Word Mantra Has Undermined America

28/02/08 "Washington Post" -- -- The "war on terror" has created a culture of fear in America. The Bush administration's elevation of these three words into a national mantra since the horrific events of 9/11 has had a pernicious impact on American democracy, on America's psyche and on U.S. standing in the world. Using this phrase has actually undermined our ability to effectively confront the real challenges we face from fanatics who may use terrorism against us.

The damage these three words have done -- a classic self-inflicted wound -- is infinitely greater than any wild dreams entertained by the fanatical perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks when they were plotting against us in distant Afghan caves. The phrase itself is meaningless. It defines neither a geographic context nor our presumed enemies. Terrorism is not an enemy but a technique of warfare -- political intimidation through the killing of unarmed non-combatants.

9/11 first responders head to Washington rally

Mike McCormack, of Ridge, was part of a search team that found a battered American flag at the World Trade Center after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

The flag had flown over the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and on a U.S. Navy ship during the war in Afghanistan.

But McCormack, 49, says he is getting the cold shoulder from the Bush administration, which has proposed what the group says is a severe cut in health care for 9/11 first responders.

He is one of more than 200 first responders who plan to hold a rally today on the west lawn of the Capitol building to call for a restoration of the funding. They then plan to meet with lawmakers.

Today in America, we are witness to a great unraveling, the likes of which we have never seen before. There are no historical precedents. For many months now the official narrative about the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on America has been coming apart, and I mean: at the seams. The official story about that terrible day is disintegrating. The trend shows no sign of abating and in recent weeks it even appears to have accelerated. At the present rate, soon there will be nothing left of the official version of events but a discordant echo and a series of extremely rude after shocks.

Is our nation prepared to face those rude shocks?

An acquaintance of mine is doing research into who was conducting the electrical work during Scott Forbes claim of the weekend "power down" where "engineers" were running cabling through out the floors in the weekend prior to 9-11. His findings could be of interest or useful to other researchers.

* The federal government just cut 9/11 Health Care funding by 77%. A paltry $25 million was designated for fiscal year 2009, down from $108 million in 2008. This means every program in existence (including Mt. Sinai) will be operating on a severely reduced budget.

STILL UNANSWERED 9/11 MIRACLES

Every six months I return to the 9/11 scene, not to fan the flames but, instead, to review apparent truths ~ particularly in light of the growing awareness of the ongoing deceptions and lies of the Cheney/Bush Administration.

Americans are not quite ready to look into the Pandora's Box of 9/11 because the implications are truly breathtaking and staggering but as each shocking abuse of power of the Cheney/Bush regime is revealed to America ~ the public becomes more open to the possibility of a monstrous deception beneath the unanswered 9/11 miracles.

If one accepts the " Official Version " of the events that occurred on 9/11 or in the days leading up to it, one must conclude that a series of miracles occurred ~ suggesting factitiously the hand of higher powers.

Saudi Arabia's rulers threatened to make it easier for terrorists to attack London unless corruption investigations into their arms deals were halted, according to court documents revealed yesterday.

Previously secret files describe how investigators were told they faced "another 7/7" and the loss of "British lives on British streets" if they pressed on with their inquiries and the Saudis carried out their threat to cut off intelligence.
