Yesterday, I took part in a questions and answers session that followed a screening of 9/11: Press For Truth. The topic of what can be done came up. I referenced the illegal immigrant movement, and their ability to get millions of people to take to the streets, and asked, "Why can't we do that? Isn't this important enough?"

Well is it? Why can't we do it? Isn't it time? Isn't there enough people in this movement to fill the lawn in Washington D.C.? We could have family members speak, and researchers and activists within the movement also speak. Who is good at making rallies happen? I think it is time we do this.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Recommendations of people to talk to? I'm all ears.

Today, I had the pleasure of joining Joanne, Tim, Fred, Wendi, Kyle, Rory, Phil, and several others to watch a screening of 9/11: Press For Truth. This was my first time getting to watch the audience react to the movie. They laughed when they were supposed to, they shouted out expletives at some of those on the screen, and they cried at the end. The end of 9/11: Press For Truth makes me cry everytime I watch it.

The movie was followed by presentations from Kyle Hence, Rory O'Connor, and Phil Berg Esq. That was followed by a very short Q&A session. I feel bad we didn't have enough time to talk.

After everything was said and done, Joanne and Tim took Kyle and I out to dinner at the Italian Bistro. I had the lasagna, and it was gooooood.

NEW YORK -- A nun who worked at the World Trade Center site in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks died Wednesday after a battle with lung disease that she said stemmed from inhaling toxic dust at ground zero, according to her lawyer.

Sister Cindy Mahoney volunteered at ground zero to bless the remains of victims.

Attorney David Worby said Mahoney, who was suffering from interstitial lung disease, hoped her story would help prove the connection between exposure to dust at the World Trade Center site and fatal illness.

According to Worby, Mahoney requested that an autopsy be conducted after her death to prove that the toxic dust at ground zero made her sick.

Worby, whose lawsuit against New York City was given a green light last month by a federal judge, said Mahoney's initial autopsy was conducted in South Carolina Wednesday, but that additional tissue samples would be tested in the coming weeks.

At a Friday screening of the documentary “9/11: Press for Truth” at Gunn High School, Stanford grad Paul Thompson and Berkeley English Prof. Peter Dale Scott charged the Bush administration of failing to make Americans safer and pointed to a governmental cover-up at the film’s Palo Alto debut.

Much of the content, which traces the events and government actions leading up to the terrorist attacks, is based on Thompson’s book, “The Complete 9/11 Timeline.” In addition to news clips and government evidence, the film uses survivor statements to raise provocative questions regarding the attacks and the role of the current administration.

“In looking at what happened since 9/11, I don’t feel like this country has been secured or made safer in any way, shape or form,” Thompson said. “It is just so shocking what has not been done. This country is so open to another attack. It wouldn’t even take Al Qaeda at this point.”

The Transportation Security Administration announced Wednesday that it intends to do background checks on plaintiffs who have filed suit in federal court to determine if they can have access to restricted aviation information.

The move is expected to help family members of victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and their lawyers move forward in litigation against U.S. airlines, airports and security contractors.

In a Federal Register notice, TSA said it intends to do criminal background checks and security-threat assessments on plaintiffs or their lawyers to determine if they can have access to sensitive security information, which is a designation the agency uses to prevent the release of information that could pose a threat to transportation security.

Some of you who have been doing this for a long time, have gone through bouts of feeling alone. Thinking you're the only one who cares. Thinking you're the only one who thinks the actions of this Administration, and their friends, are wrong.

Within the last year and a half, this movement has received a lot of attention. The build-up initially started when Dr. David Ray Griffin gave his famous lecture at the University of Wisconsin.

Since that time, we have had several "mainstream" individuals come forward with doubts.

We have had a Physics Professor come forward, and cite very convincingly that Controlled Demolition may have been the cause of the towers' collapse, as well as building 7.

We had a celebrity by the name of Charlie Sheen voice his concerns regarding the official story of 9/11.

We have held several events where "standing room only" was not uncommon. Some of those were the 2005 Emergency Truth Convergence, 9/11: Revealing The Truth, Reclaiming Our Future, the American Scholars Symposium, 9/11 & The American Empire: Intellectuals Speak Out, 9-11 Research; Why The Official Story Cannot Be True, and many others.

I will be attending for anyone interested. Along with Wendi Polinow, Fred Weber, DHS, and a few others.

The biggest obstacle the 9/11 Truth Movement faces, and has always faced, has been people's perception that people who serve as our elected officials would never do something as dastardly as 9/11.

One would think that all of the dastardly things this Administration has done would be enough to push anyone over that hurdle. However, maybe everyone needs a refresher of just exactly what this Administration is capable of.

If this Administration would never doing something like 9/11, then does that mean they would never do something like steal the 2000 and 2004 elections?

Does that mean they would never do something like torture?

Does that mean they would never abandon people in New Orleans, and never lie about the knowledge of perhaps the levees breaking?

Does that mean they would never cover up something as important as Global Warming?

The controversial new documentary 9/11: Press for Truth raises important questions concerning the executive branches wrap up following 9/11 and is sure to inspire controversy and debate.

The film tells the story of four women who united together after each losing a family member to the 9/11 disaster. Feeling that the government had not spent nearly enough time investigating 9/11 or preparing for such an attack after several previous warnings, the women took on their own investigation, rallying the press toward their cause and putting pressure on the executive branch to launch a more thorough investigation.

The film makes accusations that may seem excessive, even ridiculous, at first, but as the story continues and ample information is provided to back claims, the points that the film strives to make begin to seem well-founded.

The film certainly inspires deep thought by raising important questions. Why did the World Trade center bulding seven tower inadvertently collapse when it was not even hit by a plane? Were explosives inside the building? Why was more money spent investigating Monica Lewinsky during the Clinton administration than was spent investigating 9/11 in 2001? Why didn't we, as the film suggests, capture Osama Bin Laden when we had him cornered in a cave in Afghanistan?

Conclusion
There are many solid pieces of visual evidence–video recordings and photos–that show 767's impacting the World Trade Center towers. If only one of these images is authentic, the entire no-plane hypothesis is invalidated. There are absolutely no images of anything else hitting the towers despite the attention the burning WTC1 tower was receiving from a city of millions. The attempts by the no-planers to create credibility for their hypothesis by citing purported anomalies in the visual record have been characterized by a high degree of technical incompetence and illogical thinking. Because an authentic visual anomaly would only prove that that particular image was faked, and would not prove that something besides 767s hit the towers, it is clear that there is no supporting physical evidence whatsoever for the no-plane hypothesis.

Long before the war in Iraq, the "War on Terror" began in Afghanistan and the hunt for Al Qaeda leader Usama Bin Laden. So, why then is there not a single reference to 9/11 on the FBI'S '10 Most Wanted' poster of Bin Laden?

First of all, it turns out, Bin Laden has never been indicted for the attacks of September 11th. The FBI poster reads: "Usama Bin Laden is wanted in connection with the August 7, 1998, bombings of the United States Embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Nairobi, Kenya. These attacks killed over 200 people. In addition, Bin Laden is a suspect in other terrorist attacks throughout the world."

Regarding the 9/11 omission in the FBI poster, Special Agent Sheila Thorne in the bureau's New Orleans office told us quote, "the indictment could be superceded if necessary." In other words, charges relating to September 11th could be 'tacked on' later-- for something described as 'The Pearl Harbor of our generation.'

Does anyone remember "Woodstock"?

I got an email the other day asking if John Judge was trustworthy. I know people don't like him because he doesn't think a missile hit the Pentagon, or that the towers, and WTC7 were brought down by Controlled Demolition, but quite honestly, I don't know many people more knowledgeable on the topic.

John Judge and Kyle Hence were two of the first individuals I contacted in this movement. Both have always been helpful with their information, and advice.

John attended all of the hearings, to my knowledge, along with the families. He's worked under Cynthia McKinney. He has contributed several pieces of information to this movement.

A lot of us within the 9/11 Truth Movement spend an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out the crime that took place on 9/11. We want to figure out who, what, when, why, and where. Simply put, no one within this movement has the proper access to the information we need in order to do that. We don't have access to classified documentation, the Air Traffic Controllers, the pilots, the NORAD officers on duty that morning, the individuals within the PEOC, and many other facets that would need to be looked at in order to solve this crime.

Sure, we have an idea of who was involved. Sure, we have an idea of why they were involved. However, we could spend an eternity trying to figure out the what, when, and where, and never accomplish anything.

Most of us "joined" the movement when we realized that our Government was covering up aspects of the crime. There are a plethora of examples that show this.

The following list shows the signs of a cover-up involving our Government, and the attacks of 9/11:

• Colin Powell promised a "white paper" that would establish the guilt of Osama Bin Laden and associates. That never came.
  
• Dick Cheney and George Bush asked Tom Daschle to "limit the scope" of the Congressional Inquiry.
  
• The Congressional Inquiry released a report with 28 redacted pages.

Last week, The Badger Herald published two editorials attacking me. Allow me to play Jesse Ventura (a 9/11 Truth supporter, by the way) and fight off this tag-team of Jeff “Butcher of the English Language” Carnes and Ryan “Mistaken and Delusional” Masse.

In his Oct. 19 article, Jeff Carnes implicitly argued that I should be fired in order to prevent me from “wasting a week” of my Islam class by teaching a “fringe theory” about 9/11. Carnes has interesting ideas about what an introductory Islam course should teach:

“Islamists (sic) have been battling over controversies (sic) surrounding Islamic study: Is Islam locked in a clash of civilizations with Christianity? How does Islam reconcile with the modern nation-state (sic)? What role does Islam play in conflicts such as Palestine (sic), Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan and Sudan? Has mainstream Islam been hijacked by Islamist extremists? In a survey class such as Dr. Barrett’s, the focus should be on giving the information needed to answer some of these controversies (sic).”

CBC News: Sunday's Evan Solomon interviews Lee Hamilton, 9/11 Commission co-chair and co-author of the book "Without Precedent: The Inside Story of the 9/11 Commission" .

Evan Solomon: Tell me why you felt the need, with Thomas Kean, to write this book "Without Precedent"?

Lee Hamilton: We felt we had an important story to tell, 9/11 was a traumatic event in our history, every adult in America will remember exactly where they were on that day when they heard the news. We felt that the Commission’s work gave a lot of insights into how government works, and particularly how government in the national security area works. We had hundreds of people tell us, or ask us, how the Commission did its work, and so we responded by writing the book and tried to let people know the story, the inside story of the 9/11 Commission.

Solomon: Do you consider the 9/11 Commission to have been a success, and if so, under what ways do you measure that success? How do you call it a success?

Hamilton: The 9/11 Commission was created by statute. We had two responsibilities - first, tell the story of 9/11; I think we've done that reasonably well. We worked very hard at it; I don’t know that we’ve told the definitive story of 9/11, but surely anybody in the future who tackles that job will begin with the 9/11 Commission Report.

It's been a long five years for former U.S. Solicitor General Ted Olson. Sept. 11, 2001, was his 61st birthday, and a bad one: His wife, Barbara Olson, was on the 9/11 flight that slammed into the Pentagon. And while that's still in his mind, he's belatedly celebrating his 66th birthday this weekend in Napa Valley, where he's marrying his new love, Lady Booth, a fellow lawyer and businesswoman.

Word is the shindig is taking place at the elegant Meadowood in St. Helena, known for its pampering, fancy weddings, and wine list filled with hard-to-get local bottlings. And that's a good thing. Friends say the two share a passion for vino. Olson told Legal Times that they met at the 2002 Kentucky Derby, horse-race watching being another common hobby.

So who's going to be at the wedding? We hear about 300 of the couple's closest friends. Among the guests are Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, Appeals Court Judge Laurence Silberman and his wife, Ricki, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff and his wife, lawyers Robert Bennett and Brendan Sullivan, former Bushie and new Mitt Romney adviser Barbara Comstock, media legal pundits Victoria Toensing and Joe diGenova, National Review's Kate O'Beirne, and current Solicitor General Paul Clement.

I never thought I'd be writing something like this, but after serious consideration, I think it is important to do so.

Despite how the media tries to portray us, we are a non-violent group of individuals. Considering the allegations of this movement, I think that speaks volumes. It says that even though we suspect our Government was complicit in the attacks of 9/11, and they deserve the harshest of punishments, we will not stoop to their level. As Representative Barbara Lee once said, "As we act, let us not become the evil that we deplore."

With the passage of the Military Commissions Act of 2006, any American citizen can now be considered an "Enemy Combatant", and be locked away without the hope of a fair trial.

Essentially, if the President thinks you are a threat, you can easily be removed from society.

In order for this movement to be a successful force for good, we must be unified. We must stand together, and face, together, whatever comes our way.

I can only speak for myself when I say that I have come to accept the risks involved in the work that I do. I realized long ago that this is more important than any one person, including myself.

That being said, I don't have a death wish. I want to live my life, and enjoy everything life has to offer.

As a profession, I hate sales. You have to produce something for which you have absolutely no control over. You can't make a person buy something. Ultimately, it is the customer's decision whether or not they are going to give you their money. Provided what you're selling is what they're looking for, and what they want.

As we found out by the latest NYTimes/CBS poll, only 16% of this country believes the official version of events regarding 9/11. How did that happen? Are members of this movement just that good, or is it something else?

The "Debunkers" of this movement like to say things like, "Your facts are a joke", "you are in denial about what happened", "you are conspiradroid morons who like to fabricate reality", and many other nice, and complimentary statements.

If the facts that we cite are a joke, and we are in denial about what happened, then how is it that 84% of this country are starting to believe what we have to say?

As I said, I hate sales. Because of that fact, it probably means I'm not very good at it. Again, why are people starting to believe what we have to say?

Could it be that the facts that we cite aren't a joke, and in fact, speak for themselves? Could it be that the questions we have are legitimate, and deserve to be answered?

Today at work, I was having a conversation with someone about how the majority of politicians in Washington D.C. are scum. I then proceeded to tell him that it's a shame they drove Cynthia McKinney out of Washington D.C. Before I knew it, I heard the familiar mantra, "She's a nut."

Cynthia McKinney has done more for the people of this country than almost any other politician. To the best of her ability, she spoke the truth to power, and she did so with a great heart, and a great soul.

I am hoping in the coming elections that a few more Cynthia McKinney's will make it into Washington D.C.

I'm also hoping that we haven't seen the last of the real McCoy.

Thank you Cynthia for everything you've done for us. You are missed more than you know.

We don't know if you're aware or not (you haven't reported on it), but the original members of the 9/11 Truth Movement have been busy as of late.

On August 4th, 2006, 9/11 family members Lorie Van Auken, Patty Casazza, Mindy Kleinberg, and Monica Gabrielle released a statement that questioned the "entire veracity" of the 9/11 Commission's report.

On September 5th, 2006, a documentary endorsed by the families that fought for the creation of the 9/11 Commission was released entitled, "9/11: Press For Truth."

On September 11th, 2006, at the National Press Club in Washington D.C., family members Donna Marsh O'Connor, Michelle Little, and Christina Kminek asked for, "a new investigation into the events of September 11th, and this time, a truly bipartisan, global, with families invested from the beginning, middle, and throughout the end."

On October 14th, 2006, Monica Gabrielle, Lorie Van Auken, Mindy Kleinberg, and Patty Casazza released a petition that calls for, "the immediate declassification and release of all transcripts and documents relating to the July 10, 2001 meeting that took place between former CIA Director George Tenet and then National Security Advisor, Condoleezza Rice" as well as "the declassification and release of both the redacted 28 pages of the Joint Inquiry Into The Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001 (JICI) and the CIA Inspector General’s report, "CIA Accountability With Respect To The 9/11 Attacks". In the span of three days, they've managed to get 2041 signatures.

Considering all of the nice publicity you gave to Ann Coulter, don't you think it's time you started giving OTHER members of the 9/11 Truth Movement a "fair shake?"

Earlier today, I had a thought. "Where is the Israeli 9/11 Truth Movement"? You would think the people of Israel are aware of the allegations towards their Government regarding 9/11. Aren't they curious as to why? After that thought, I, myself, wanted to see everything regarding Israel and 9/11. Aside from the "Dancing Israelis". So, I picked up Paul's book. I'm posting this so everyone has a clear understanding as to why Israel and 9/11 are often mentioned in the same breath.

Please remember that Israel is a country, and Judaism is a religion. If Israel had something to do with 9/11, that DOES NOT mean you blame ALL jews....We don't agree with the actions of our Government. I'm sure if the truth were told, the Israelis would not agree with the actions of theirs. This posting is NOT meant to be anti-semitic. I am Jewish, and respect the religion completely.

If you've been a member of the 9/11 Truth Movement for a long time, you're well aware how difficult this fight has been.

Some have faced ridicule the likes of which have never been seen before.

Some have been set up by the media to be made fools of, and worse.

Some have been kicked out of office in Washington D.C.

Some have lost friends that didn't want to listen.

Some have lost their jobs for speaking their mind.

Some have been harassed by this Government in one form or another.

The point is, this is probably the hardest thing this country has ever faced, and I am forever grateful to those that had the courage to face the truth.

It is one of George Bush's favourite frat boy pranks to grab people in a neck lock. That is appropriate because he and his party have had a stranglehold on America. The Republicans have occupied the White House since 2001. They've controlled the House of Representatives and for most of the time, the Senate as well. Thanks to the appointments made by Bush, the Supreme Court belongs to the right too.

Karl Rove, the grand wizard of strategy known as 'Bush's brain', seemed close to realising his ambition to create a Republican hegemony that would last for a generation. He had a dream of turning America into a one-party state and it was a dream that looked like becoming all too real. A country founded on the idea of the separation of powers has rarely witnessed such a concentration of might in the hands of one party.

U.S. military officials intend to charge Guantanamo Bay captive Khalid Sheikh Mohammed with the murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, according to a Time magazine report.

U.S. officials have identified Mohammed as the al Qaida mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, and President Bush has said he's a likely candidate for a war-crimes trial.

But the Pentagon's chief war-crimes prosecutor told The Miami Herald on Friday that the Time report may be premature; prosecutors are still studying the case files of Mohammed and 13 other so-called high-value detainees who were turned over to the military by the CIA.

Captured in Pakistan in March 2003, Mohammed had been held in secret CIA detention until his Labor Day transfer to the Guantanamo detention center at the U.S. Navy base in southeast Cuba.

People often say 3,000 people died on 9/11. I have done so several times. That's not accurate. The amount of people who died on the day of 9/11, was 2,973.

As 911Truth.org just said, "Some 70,000 people are sick as a result of the toxic air after 9/11."

Some of the individuals affected by the environmental impact of 9/11 are quite literally, "the walking dead."

I do apologize for referring to them as such. It is callous. However, like most painful truths we have uncovered, describing it as succinctly as possible, is important.

Let it be known that I have the deepest respect for the first responders. The deepest respect.

I think it is important that from now on, people do their best to say, "2973+", when describing the amount of people who perished on 9/11.

If we are not accurate, then the sick and the dying are forgotten.
