Jon Gold's blog

July 10th, 2001

One of the newest tidbits of information to come out about 9/11 was the discovery of a meeting on July 10th, 2001 between Cofer Black, George Tenet, and Condoleezza Rice. In October 2006, the "Jersey Girls" released a petition calling for the declassification of all information pertaining to that day, among other things. On June 18th, 2007, the "Jersey Girls" delivered the petition to those in Washington D.C.

The following is everything I have pertaining to that day:

Rowan Scarborough Says Ray McGovern & VIPS Are Sabotaging War On Terror

I am a huge fan of Ray McGovern's. He has one of the keenest intellects I've ever seen, and his insight into what's going on in our country, and in our world is incredibly valuable. You may remember that I questioned Ray and Scott Ritter last summer. I also questioned Ray during the 2004 9/11 People's Commission in Washington D.C., and defended him when the PNAC News attacked him. I was so proud of Ray when he confronted Rummy. So much so, I made a "tribute" to him. A lot of info there. - Jon

The Anthrax Attacks

Oct 2, 2001: The Patriot Act is introduced in Congress. The next day, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy (D) accuses the Bush administration of reneging on an agreement on this anti-terrorist bill. George W. Bush

When I think of "Bush", I don't think of George W. Bush. I think of the entire Bush Administration, all of the corporations they represent, and the members of the House and Senate that allow this insanity to continue.

It would be impossible for me to post everything I have related to Bush, however, these are all of the articles I have with his name in the title.

The United States Dollar

You obviously couldn't "wage war" without 9/11. - Jon

I doubt it was the only reason, but it may well have played a significant role in our motivation to wage war.

A friend of mine tonight brought up the declining dollar. This is the first time I'd heard someone other than myself, and a few others mention it. That, to me, suggests that the collapse of the dollar may be upon us. I am by no means a financial expert, however, I am someone that follows the news. It doesn't take a financial expert to see what is happening to the U.S. Dollar. I don't know what to say other than hope for the best, and expect the worst.

Opium

Here is every article I've collected about opium production in Afghanistan following our invasion. Some have speculated that opium production was one of the main reasons we invaded Afghanistan. The idea is, a large percentage of drug money gets laundered through the American Banking System, as well as Wall Street. Sen. Carl Levin once said:

Current estimates are that $500 billion to $1 trillion in illegal funds are laundered through banks worldwide each year, with about half going through U.S. financial institutions.

At the time of our invasion, Afghanistan opium production was at an all time low because the Taliban managed to destroy a large percentage of the opium crops.

However, Mullah Omar said that if the U.S. were to invade, the farmers will be allowed to grow opium.

How lucky for "U.S. financial institutions."

I recommend the writings of Peter Dale Scott with regard to the drug trade.

U.S. Military Killed Key Al-Qaeda Leader, Once Last Year, Once This Week

This makes me think of things like, "Is what we're being told about Al-Qaeda inflated?" or "Was E&P right when they said that the U.S. Military is morphing the insurgents in Iraq into Al-Qaeda?" Why would there be a need to do such things? Isn't the threat real? Doesn't Al-Qaeda have the tentacles we've been told? - Jon

Washington DC (Map, News) - The U.S. command in Baghdad this week ballyhooed the killing of a key al Qaeda leader but later admitted that the military had declared him dead a year ago.

A military spokesman acknowledged the mistake after it was called to his attention by The Examiner. He said public affairs officers will be more careful in announcing significant kills.

Dear Friends-

Most of my listeners are aware of Beit Shalom Ministries and their Denver to D.C. Walk for Truth, which is currently underway. Brothers Raymond and Elliott have been big supporters of Colorado 9-11 Visibility and my program, Visibility 9-11. They are currently transversing the state of Indiana, and are making good progress and spreading their message of “Real Christians Don’t Choose War” and “Stop the 9-11 Cover-Up”. In order to continue on this important and history making journey, the brothers need your help.

The Media's Mayor

Mythologizing Guiliani and 9/11

June 2007

And Giuliani walks on. He walks from his bunker, up Barclay Street and went on television. Went on and announced his heroism and then came back every hour or so until he became a star, a great figure, a national hero, the mayor who saved New York. Most of this comes from these dazed Pekingese of the Press. . . . Giuliani was a hero with these news people.—Columnist Jimmy Breslin (Newsday, 3/7/04)

On September 11, 2001, with George W. Bush in hiding for much of the day, mainstream journalists were desperately looking for a man on horseback. For many, that man would be New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

Newsweek’s Jonathan Alter began his September 24, 2001 column:

Whitman's Testimony From The Perspective Of A Republican Strategist

Whitman stood up to panel bent on assessing 9/11 blame

Agree with her or not. Like her politics or despise them. But former Gov. Christine Todd Whitman deserves points for going before a congressional panel last week to answer questions about her role and that of the Environmental Protection Agency that she headed in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.

Whitman had to know she hadn't a friend in the room and that the hostile members of Congress were going to be pumped up by an audience stacked with people who were eager to continue to blame her for every health problem encountered since 9/11. Yet, she sat for three hours, answering questions and doing her utmost to fend off the snide comments and accusations that she had lied, failed and bore responsibility for the deteriorating health of hundreds of people who worked in or around the Trade Center rubble.

Thanks To Everyone Who Donated To The 9/11 First Responder Fund-Raiser

I wanted to say thank you to everyone that donated to this fund-raiser. We didn't do as well as the last time, but we still raised a considerable amount of money. In the first six months of this year, the 9/11 Truth Movement, at least through the fund-raisers held on 911Blogger.com (and posted elsewhere, thank you), have donated a total of $5,550.00 to the 9/11 First Responders. That's an excellent accomplishment, and I am thankful to be apart of it.

Just because the fund-raiser is over, does not mean you still can't donate. If you would like to donate, please visit the following sites:
