I came across this blog on the Veterans for 9/11 Truth Yahoo Groups blog site and it gives the name of the "young man" that Norman Mineta was refering to in his testimony to the 9/11 Commission regarding Dick Cheney's actions the morning of 9/11. I was wondering if anyone else heard of this name (David F Cochrane) as being the "young man" who said, "Do the orders still stand?". Here's a paste of the blog:

Milwaukee activists protest to stop FBI raids and intimidation of anti-war activists. (Fight Back! News) Milwaukee, WI - Students and community members held a rally in front of Milwaukee's Federal Building to protest the Sept. 24 FBI raids on anti-war activists in the Midwest and elsewhere in the United States.

Members of a wide variety of community organizations showed their support, including speakers from the Latin America Solidarity Committee, International Action Center, AFSCME local 82 President Gilbert Johnson, and Milwaukee Graduate Assistants Association (MGAA) Co-president Lee Abbott.

We decided to do some 9/11 Truth Street Action at Milwaukee's Memorial Day Parade. Meg Kissinger, A Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel reporter, came up to me during the parade and asked a few questions about why we were there. Here's the  few short sentences she wrote about us that showed up in the paper today June 1st, 2010:

"Matthew Naus, 59, a retired Milwaukee Public Schools grade school teacher, used the occasion to promote his organization, Take a Stand for 9/11 Truth, a group that believes the American government staged the attack on the World Trade Center to propel the country into war.

"War is a racket to make money on drugs and oil," said Naus, who said he served in Vietnam.

He got a few dirty looks from the crowd, but most people seemed to understand that the right to express your opinions - no matter how unpopular - is one of the reasons American military members fight. "

We decided to try and wake up some Tea Party Express people by going to one of their tea parties in West Allis, WI at the gates of the Wisconsin State Fair. When we first unraveled our banner, the biggest banner at the Tea Party Express event, we started to get some negative reactions.

One guy tried to grab the DVD's I had under my arm, as I was holding the banner, and crush them. I guess he didn't believe in free speech. Of course we had the typical loud mouths trying to degrade us. Later, we were told by a police officer that the Tea Party Express rented the front gate property to the Wisconsin State Fair and that they wanted us to move off this property. The police officer said we could move to the curb side of the property.

We did manage to pass out about 100 DVD's and flyers for the upcoming David Ray Griffin event in Milwaukee on April 30th. Our banner was also in the local section of the Milwaukee/Journal Sentinel...

The above Youtube demonstrates some very successful 9/11 Truth Activism we did during the month of January 2010.
We (Take A Stand For 9/11 Truth Milwaukee, Wisconsin) http://ts911t.org/ handed out disks for almost every showing of the play "Yankee Tavern" by Steven Dietz which played at The Milwaukee Rep for almost the whole month of January 2010.

This play has a lot of dialogue about the research behind 9/11 from the perspective of the 9/11 Truth Movement.

Near the end of the play they find a hidden disk. We used that part of the play about "The Disk" to pass out over 4000 disks in the roughly 25 times we went to this theatre loaded with 9/11 Truth disks in our backpacks. All we needed to say was "The Disk" we have "The Disk" or "The Disk" is here. Little did these audience members know that if they watch "The Disk" they would be learning a lot about David Ray Griffin and Richard Gage. The audience members usually laughed when they heard this, but they took "The Disk".

We barbeque the 9/11 Commission Report and throw the ashes into Lake Michigan. We also read from a scroll and this year we added an authentic colonial drum which we marched to. 2nd Tea Party 12/16/07:

A number of groups against the war showed up at "war criminal" Karl Rove's speaking engagement at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee on December 3rd, 2009.
We were given access to the hallway right in front of the Wisconsin Room where Karl Rove was speaking. Near the end of the video a protestor is being ejected and detained by university police for disrupting Karl Rove's speech. This is what our founding fathers would expect of true patriotic American citizens when our country is being led by war criminals starting wars of aggression. Thanks to all the patriotic protestors that showed up for this protest. Dissent is the highest form of patriotism.

Below is a short clip from Channel 58 (CBS) Milwaukee where Karl Rove calls the "Hecklers" intellectual liberals and he gets a big cheer from the audience, many of them student republicans. He then goes into his smoozing bit telling his audience he loves being in Milwaukee and his connections with his family to this area.
