Must watch: History Channel battles 9/11 conspiracies

Cable-TV's History Channel is running what may be one of the most valuable two-hour programs I've seen in . . . well, in almost exactly six years. 9/11 Conspiracies: Fact or Fiction? deconstructs the major (i.e., least nutty) conspiracy theories that have erupted since the Twin Towers were destroyed. Kudos to the show's primary source of data, the editors of Popular Mechanics magazine, who freely took on their invaluable service.

I sent them a rebuttal opinion, but of course, they never printed it.

I would greatly encourage ALL of you to email the Arizona Republic newspaper
demanding that a rebuttal piece be allowed to be printed in their newspaper.

This doesn't relate to 9/11 directly, but it serves to remind us of the bloodthirsty,
barbaric evil monsters that the bush crime family is.

This movie truly disturbed me.....mostly because of how callous and cold the
US military was during this atrocity. Cold blooded killing of poor civilians.

After you watch this, you'll be convinced that our own soldiers would kill
Americans just as coldly during a martial law occupation....
they would just be following orders, of course.

No wonder the whole fucking world hates us!

Homeland Security wants driver's license that serves as passport

Arizona could be the first state along the Mexican border and one of the first in the country to develop a driver's license secure enough to be used in lieu of a passport at a port of entry.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced an agreement Friday with Arizona to use new, more-expensive, state-issued licenses as a valid ID for entering the country.

New U.S. travel restrictions with stricter documentation requirements take effect next year for the Western Hemisphere.

Creating tamper-proof IDs is critical in Arizona. Nearly 12 million pedestrians and 9.5 million vehicles passed through Arizona's six controlled international border crossings last year.

At those ports of entry, customs agents have to review more than 8,000 valid forms of identification.

Arizona issued nearly 1.3 million driver's licenses last year.

Gov. Janet Napolitano's office thinks the new license, still only a concept, may cost $4 million to develop and could be paid for by an increase in fees.

Last night (6/25/07) Jon Stewart from the Daily Show had an author on who had written a book about
the history of the Pentagon. His name is Steve Vogel and the book is titled
"The Pentagon - A History".

Towards the end of the interview Jon Stewart starts making fun of those
"crazy conspiracy theories" that a plane didn't hit the Pentagon and he asked
Mr. Vogel to debunk those theories.

Mr Vogel goes on to say (I'm paraphrasing) that all you have to do is talk to the family members
who died on the plane or in the Pentagon and once you see that reality you know what really
happened.

My jaw just hit the floor!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Arkansas GOP head: We need more 'attacks on American soil' so people appreciate Bush

In his first interview as the chairman of the Arkansas Republican Party, Dennis Milligan told a reporter that America needs to be attacked by terrorists so that people will appreciate the work that President Bush has done to protect the country.

"At the end of the day, I believe fully the president is doing the right thing, and I think all we need is some attacks on American soil like we had on [Sept. 11, 2001]," Milligan said to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, "and the naysayers will come around very quickly to appreciate not only the commitment for President Bush, but the sacrifice that has been made by men and women to protect this country."

Milligan, who was elected as the new chair of the Arkansas Republican Party just two weeks ago, also told the newspaper that he is "150 percent" behind Bush in the war in Iraq.

For those of you who watch "Heroes" on NBC, I could not believe that they were actually talking about
Nathan Petrelli stealing the Presidential Election and then destroying half of NYC to
accomplish their much larger goal! How killing thousands was perfectly OK for the

If you watched tonight, did you pick up on that?

I happened to watch Real Time with Bill Maher earlier tonight and sadly, Bill and Sean both
talked about us be attacked by the bin Laden and the terrorists on 9/11 when discussing how
bush used 9/11 to invade Iraq.

If they're still in denial or afraid to question the "official" lie, things look bleak for other
high profile celebrities to come out.

It was very discouraging.

Just my 2 cents.
