Dear site users,
Please consider purchasing a copy of John Hankey's DVD, "Dark Legacy". This is a re-edited version of Hankey's "JFK II", with new material added.
In light of Russ Baker's new book, Family of Secrets, people are taking another look at Hankey's research, which by independent means touches upon some of the same themes, especially George Herbert Walker Bush's connection to the assassination of JFK.
I met Hankey at the 2006 COPA conference, where he did a presentation on his indy documentaries, "JFK II", and "The Assassination of JFK Jr." - I filmed his presentation, which you can see here (definitely lo-fi);
(Note: Dr. Farrer is an employee of BYU, not a professor.)

Tiny red and gray chips found in the dust from the collapse of the World Trade Center contain highly explosive materials — proof, according to a former BYU professor, that 9/11 is still a sinister mystery.
Physicist Steven E. Jones, who retired from Brigham Young University in 2006 after the school recoiled from the controversy surrounding his 9/11 theories, is one of nine authors on a paper published last week in the online, peer-reviewed Open Chemical Physics Journal. Also listed as authors are BYU physics professor Jeffrey Farrer and a professor of nanochemistry at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
For several years, Jones has theorized that pre-positioned explosives, not fires from jet fuel, caused the rapid, symmetrical collapse of the two World Trade Center buildings, plus the collapse of a third building, WTC-7.
At the request of Lullaby Academy (who posted the original blog on the Raw Story), the link to the Raw Story article on the Bentham paper was pulled.
The story was re-written to be more "balanced", according to one of the site editors;
"Editor's note: This story has been updated and rewritten for balance and clarity."
But frankly, Joe Byrne had it right the first time.
Here is a link to the revised story;
Suspect in officers' shooting was into conspiracy theories
Sunday, April 05, 2009
By Dennis B. Roddy, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Richard Andrew Poplawski was a young man convinced the nation was secretly controlled by a cabal that would eradicate freedom of speech, take away his guns and use the military to enslave the citizenry.
His online profile suggests someone at once lonely and seething. He wrote of burning the backs of both of his hands, the first time with a cigarette, the second time for symmetry. He subscribed to conspiracy theories and, by January 2007, was posting photographs of his tattoos on white supremacist Web site Stormfront. Among his ambitions: "to accumulate enough 'I punched that [expletive] so hard' stories to match my old man."
"Crazy to me is going through the motions," he wrote on his MySpace profile three years ago. "Crazy to me is letting each day slip past you. Crazy is being insignificant. Crazy is being obscure, pointless."
"It's a miracle! Pakistan Taleban chief Baitullah Mehsud -- who supposedly died from kidney failure six months ago -- takes credit for three recent deadly terror attacks, including Monday's attack on a police academy in Lahore..."
(When Mark Gaffney first published his article on "The 9/11 Mystery Plane" at the Journal of 9/11 Studies (PDF), representatives from CNN contacted him and asked Gaffney to "pull it", supposedly due to his use of some CNN screen captures. The article did eventually go back up, and a couple of months later, Anderson Cooper covered the E-4B's appearance on his CNN show. Can you say, "Damage Control"? Cooper covered the 9/11 blogospheric links mentioning Gaffney's article, [including some free advertising for 911blogger], while somehow studiously avoiding any mention of Gaffney's article or the Journal. Ultimately, this only inspired Gaffney to write one of the best books on 9/11 to be published in the last six months, "The 9/11 Mystery Plane: And the Vanishing of America". If you can afford to in this troubled economy, please purchase a copy to show some support for Mr. Gaffney and his publisher, TrineDay. In the piece below, Gaffney provides his observations on Bamford's latest NSA book, which like Kevin Fenton's, are very critical of Bamford's support of the official 9/11 story. -rep.)
Eavesdropping on the World
James Bamford’s new book comes up short on 9/11
by Mark H. Gaffney - March 11, 2009
In January 2009, during Israel’s ferocious attacks on Gaza, there were numerous reports on the Internet that Israeli Prime Minister Olmert had boasted about “wagging the US dog.” Supposedly Olmert bragged that he had pulled Bush off a stage while the president was making a speech and demanded that Bush block a UN Security Council cease-fire resolution. The US had already vetoed an earlier cease-fire resolution in late December, but by the eighth of January, with the death toll rapidly mounting in Gaza, Israel’s war against Hamas was wearing thin. For days US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice had been working with Arab and European governments to craft a cease-fire resolution that every member of the Security Council would support, including the US.
VIDEO: "An Unholy Alliance" - Documentary examines CIA and other intelligence agency links to the global drug trade.
Part 1 of 6
YouTube - Parts 2-6;

In 1996, directors Chris Hilton and David Roberts released "An Unholy Alliance" as the second part of a trilogy of documentaries dealing with the global drug trade; with a focus on heroin and opium. The documentary offers a valuable history of the drug trade, with much rare footage, including footage of CIA favorite, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar. Since Hekmatyar is back in the news, now is an important time to remind people of Hekmatyar's dubious past, and his links to the heroin industry in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

For several years now, self-styled "debunkers" have been claiming that William Rodriguez has been lying about the testimony he gave to the 9/11 Commission in 2004. For example, on Mark Roberts' website, Roberts mocks Rodriguez;
"January, 2009: As promised, many of the 9/11 Commission investigation records have been made public. There is a wealth of material online, with more to come. I'm sure William Rodriguez will want to get the copies of the notes made by two investigators who interviewed him, to prove his claim that his story hasn't changed from the start and that the Commission attempted to cover it up. (Don't hold your breath for Rodriguez to publish those notes.)"
Not only have Mr. Rodriguez's basic claims remained unchanged, the cover-up continues; his actual testimony remains "restricted". One can only imagine why that would be. The wiser JREFers who have been holding their collective breath may now exhale, as Mr. Rodriguez has supplied us with copies of the 9/11 Commission Investigator notes in PDF form, which read in part;
"Rodriguez said on September 11, 2001 he reported late to work which was unusual for him. He said he was in the B1 sublevel ABM office speaking to Anthony Saltamachia when the plane struck the North Tower (WTC 1). He immediately thought the explosion was caused by a generator. Shortly after the first explosion a second explosion rocked the building and caused the office's false ceiling to collapse. Following these explosions Felipe David, who was severely burned, ran into the office. Rodriguez said there was a third explosion and he believed then the explosions were caused by an earthquake."
Clearly, Rodriguez was indeed talking about "explosions" from the very start.

Only one photographer left Florida with Bush due to a national emergency
Only a quick post, pointing out why there was limited photographs from the usual Whitehouse pool of photographers. Whether this was indeed the case, Jim Bourg goes on to say that the photographer that did go to NY was not allowed to take many photographers. May not be conveying riveting info, but giving it a post anyway.
Thug Diplomacy - Bush Admin. Threatened the UK's "National Security" if they publish torture evidence.
"Ordering the disclosure of the US intelligence information now would have only the marginal effects of serious and lasting damage to the US-UK intelligence sharing relationship, and thus the national security of the UK …"
The letters proving the threat were provided to the UK's Channel 4, who broadcast this segment on February 5, 2009;
The Foreign Secretary David Miliband (featured in the above video) denies that it is a threat, but this lie was put to rest by MP Edward Davey, who was also in the British Parliament on February 5th (but not sampled for Channel 4's broadcast);
Dear site users, please take a moment to check out the website of a new sponsor, Mesothelioma Data .com. (Click on their ad in the "blogads" section to your left.)
This may be a very useful resource for some 1st responders that you know, so please them know about the ad. The site is a for-profit affair, but there are also links to free information about Mesothelioma, and ways of fighting it.

It came to my attention that a senior correspondent, Kristin Aalen, working for a national Norwegian broadsheet - Stavanger Aftenbladet (Stavanger Evening News) - just recently printed a detailed article in the newspaper on Western covert operations sponsoring al-Qaeda after the Cold War... based almost entirely on my research in The War on Truth: 9/11, Disinformation and the Anatomy of Terrorism.
Entitled "Terrorists Working for Western Countries" (24.11.08), it even gives a country-by-country summary breakdown complete with a handy geopolitical world map of the wide arc of these operations. It's a very useful piece from a mainstream national European paper that very effectively summarises the thrust of my research into this unpalatable subject. A shame that the British press is so reticient about such issues.
Registered users will be pleased to note that the internal search engine has been resurrected at 911blogger.com, and can be accessed through the "search" tab up top. The google search link has been disabled, and users are encouraged to use the Lycos search engine, which doesn't seem to have a problem indexing the site.
When using the site search engine, simply type your search terms(s) into the data field, like so;
ramzi yousef decoding bojinka
The simple search runs faster than the "advanced search", so use it whenever possible.
When using Lycos, precede your search terms with "911blogger.com" (minus the quotes) and then type in your search terms, like so;
911blogger.com ramzi yousef decoding bojinka
The results still won't match perfectly (the internal search engine is more accurate). Once you get to 911blogger, start hitting the blue taxonomy terms underneath the author/dateline for more related results.
Also, the "google ads" sidebar has been removed. It has been an eyesore for a long time, and slowed down the load time of the front page. To make up for the lost revenue, 911blogger will be seeking more sponsorship for the site server costs via "blogads". If you are a user who wants to keep the site alive, and you know of a product or web site that you would like to endorse, whip up a jpeg ad, and submit it here.
For approximately 16 hours, 911blogger.com was offline, starting yesterday at 5:30pm Central Time. This was preceded by World Can't Wait going offline for several hours, and 911truth.org for a few hours as well.
It could very well be a coincidence that two 9/11 sites got knocked out yesterday, and a strong anti-war, anti-imperialist foreign policy site got knocked off to boot. All three sites had server-specific issues, but it is not known at this time if exactly the same issue affected all three sites.
Either way, site users should back up their blog entries, and have a redundant personal blog set up under a different URL. Co-publish here, and at your personal blog, that way, you will always have a copy.
(James Bamford has done another great deed for the public by revealing the extent of the NSA's wiretapping on U.S. soil, and how the NSA sub-contracts the vast majority of its work to Israeli high-tech firms bristling with "former" Israeli military intelligence agents, and in the case of Verint, a company with serious corruption issues. It was Bamford who popularized the existence of Operation Northwoods in his 2001 book, Body of Secrets. In The Shadow Factory, he sheds light in the secret rooms of Verizon and AT&T, and shows the NSA to be a very poor custodian of the nation's security.)
Bamford Brings the Goods
On October 14, 2008, James Bamford talked about some of the shocking research in his new book on Democracy Now!, with Amy Goodman;
