For far too long we've allowed a crass manipulation of the 9/11 attack, combined with false patriotism and our own craven unwillingness to challenge what we know to be terribly wrong, to keep us quiet. Our silence has enabled and facilitated an awful human catastrophe.
this article is a scathing attack on the bush administration.. while it is not focused on 9/11, I found the small quote above to be worth noting.. i also found its comments to the media to be quite on point as well.. 9/11 has been used to justify anything and everything, lets not drag 9/11 through the mud like that..

UK 9-11 Skeptics Pay Tony Blair A Visit
With a few days before the general election, the UK 9-11 Truth network in association with Reopen911.org paid a visit to Tony Blair's constituency of Sedgefield, in the north of England.
In an unprecedented move, 17,000 "Confronting The Evidence" DVDs were distributed to the voters of Sedgefield in an attempt to educate Blair's constituency about the 9-11 cover-up and to contribute towards efforts to unseat the Prime Minister.

However, what really showed that the UK 9-11 Truth Movement would do whatever it takes to expose the truth about 9-11 was their visit to Prime Minister Tony Blair's constituency house. Eight 9-11 activists, sporting T-Shirts with the slogan "9/11 IS A LIE", delivered a "Confronting The Evidence" DVD, some Deception Dollars and an identical T-Shirt. These were handed to the armed police officer at the front gate to be passed on to Mr Blair

Allianz Group published a shareholder proposal on April 20th faulting management for ignoring signs of insurance fraud on 9/11/2001. Allianz carried a significant portion of the insurance coverage on the WTC, and stands to pay a corresponding portion of the $3.5 billion payout currently being litigated in New York. In his proposal, shareholder John Leonard, a California native and a publisher of books on 9/11, pointed to reports that building WTC 7 apparently collapsed by demolition, and for no plausible reason related to the 9/11 attacks. Management replied that it relied on official US government reports which made no mention of such evidence.

I've been trying to drop a few hints about the 911 truth movement to my Mom now for quite a while. I called her this morning and told her to turn on C-Span2 to see author David ray Griffin talk about his new book "The 911 Commission: Omissions and Distortions". Quite frankly, she thought my "conspiracy theories" were a load of BS until she saw this amazingly clear and concise analysis. I called her back later and asked what she thought about it all. "It's wild" was all she could say at first. I pressed her a bit and she simply admitted "I'M STUNNED'. Let me tell you, it's damned hard to stun my Mom about anything. She's a hard-headed Taurean whose feet are planted firmly on Mother Earth. If my Mom, middle class, a straight citizen in her 70's is stunned about all this, there may actually be some light at the end of this murky tunnel.
