Italy Mainstream Media Speaks of 9/11 Cover-up - Guest Blog Entry
Just got the following email, I'll post it as is:
Italian mainstream media is starting to speak quite a lot about the 9/11 truth.
On May 24 2006, the program Matrix, on channel Canale 5, aired a debate between journalist Giulietto Chiesa (who is working in a research called Gruppo Cinque, on 9/11) and ex center-right parliamentary Marco Taradash. The interesting thing is that they showed a few minutes of Loose Change 2nd edition, and they covered the building 7 collapse. It's a pity the show was aired at 12:15 at night! Morgan Reynolds Presentation at University of Wisconsin - Video Download

Former CIA Member Robert Baer Comments on 9/11 'Inside Job' Possibilities - Audio Download
Robert Baer is a former CIA member who has authored several books, and served as the basis for the recent movie Syrianna. In this interview they discuss 9/11, possible ties between Iran and Bin Laden, the ways in which some have profited from 9/11, and motives.

Is anyone else outraged at all the attention that Ann Coulter is getting for attacking the Jersey Girls? How is it possible that everyone is talking about what Ann Coulter wrote, and no one is talking about what the Jersey Girls have to say? John Kerry wrote for Huffington post about how horrible it is that Ann is attacking them with the provocative headline “Shameless, but the Real Shame Is If We Don’t Act†No folks, he is not talking about acting on the very important issue of demanding answers to what the hell happened on to our air defenses on 9/11…he wants us to act by calling the media and telling them we don’t like Ann Coulter.

9/11 set the stage for the media feeding frenzy that took place this past week, giving the the morning papers something to make headlines with, something for pundits to babble about, and something for Stephen Harper's arguably neoconservative government to use as a political tool.

The first and biggest problem is the fault of the headline writer. This was not a conference for “conspiracy buffs,†a term that ordinarily refers to marginal people who are obsessed by minute details of various events that they, but very few others, view as conspiracies. First, there is no question about 9/11 being a conspiracy, since no one person acting alone could have committed the crime. Second, half of New Yorkers (probably more than half by now) believe top US officials committed high treason by conspiring to enable the 9/11 attacks; forty percent of US adults believe the official version is a cover-up; and a clear majority of Americans is calling for a new investigation focused on the possibility of official complicity. Thus the agenda of the Chicago conference attendees is mainstream, not marginal. Finally, the Chicago conference was focused on activism, not “comparing notes†about what may have happened. Of the more than fifty events, around forty were specifically geared towards activism, while fewer than ten addressed education about the evidence. The phrase “conspiracy buffs comparing notes†is therefore highly inaccurate, perhaps even defamatory, and an apology from the New York Times would be appreciated.
