Madison Newspaper Editorials Slams Rep. Nass Over Teacher Firing Statements

Editorial: Sifting and winnowing - madison.com

State Rep. Steve Nass, R-Whitewater, is not very good at legislating. But that doesn't stop him from trying to tell everyone else how to do their jobs.

Indeed, it seems that whenever Nass hears about a college instructor who expresses views that do not fit with his own, the legislator begins to call for sanctions and silencing.

Nass piped up again last week after he learned that a University of Wisconsin lecturer has been active in a movement that raises questions about whether U.S. government officials rather than foreign terrorists were responsible for some or all of the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001.

Fake 9/11 Video Making the Rounds

I assume that this video is fake (see top video, labelled "Live Animation").

The video shows the fireball erupting out of one of the Twin Towers before the second plane hits.

Does anyone have the CBS DVD "What We Saw"? If -- as I think -- the video footage is not on the CBS DVD, that would show that the linked-to video has been faked by a disinfo agent or trickster. That would be a reminder that we should not pass on videos as real that have not been authenticated first.

If, instead, the video is contained in the DVD, that wo

NIST says "NO" to debate

Change in Venue or Date will not Alter Decision

...After three separate mailings of hard copy invitations to the NIST scientists, on June 8, 2006 the Muckraker Report received e-mail from NIST that said, “The project leaders of the NIST World Trade Center investigation team respectfully decline your invitations to participate in the National 9/11 Debate on September 16, 2006.” Not to be deterred, on June 20, 2006 the Muckraker Report e-mailed Michael E. Newman, NIST Director of Media Relations, and asked if there was a better date, time, and location for NIST to participate in the National 9/11 Debate.

9/11 story -- fiction or truth?

9/11 story -- fiction or truth?

Former CIA official may know more than he lets on.

Robert Baer's audacious first novel is going to be controversial because of both who he is and what he says. He retired after 20 years with the CIA and wrote a memoir, See No Evil, a memoir that inspired the murky Middle East spy film Syriana. In Blow the House Down, Baer gives us a fictional version of the 9/11 attacks, suggesting that high-level CIA officials could have stopped the terrorists but had other priorities. It's fiction, of course, but in an interview with journalist Seymour Hersh that the publisher sent along with the novel, Baer says: "It's like Primary Colors. There's a lot more truth in this book than is apparent."

Scholars for 9/11 Truth under Attack

Member's children threatened by name, teacher's position under assault

Duluth, MN (PRWEB) July 2, 2006 --- The author of an article about the attack on the World Trade Center has found himself under attack for having published it in a new on-line publication, Journal of 9/11 Studies. Entitled "The Flying Elephant", the article discusses evidence that a third airplane was captured on video at the time of the WTC attack. He has now received a thinly-veiled threat against his children, who are cited by name, suggesting it would be a good idea if his article were to simply "go away"...

Operation Sell and Tell 9/11 Truth

Alfons at Veterans for 9/11 Truth is conducting a poll;

After many years of selling, and telling the Truth of 9/11, I have seen a repeating pattern of objections, rebuttals, attacks, a whole host of fallacious arguments, and resistance to the 9/11 Truth. Since these arguments repeat we can formulate the best ways to overcome them. This is about strategy, planning, being ready, and doing our best to sell, and tell the Truth.

Anyone can participate in this exercise. The purpose of this poll is to identify the top ten objections to believing the Truth about 9/11. We will compile these in the order of popularity, and then try to think of the best ways to answer the objections. Then a page will be built listing the objections, and the best ways to answer them. The goal is to put our best foot forward. We won't be able to get everyone, but we may as well try our best to get as many as possible on board with the Truth.
