An article in the "Travel News and Comment" section of the Times of London yesterday (30-August 2006, but reported on Yahoo news today), by Mark Ferry has the headline:

Ryanair to allow mobile calls at 30,000ft

An important quote from Ryanair spokesman is "Ryanair will soon enable
passengers to use their mobile phones and electronic communications devices in
the air, just as they do on the ground. That means they will be able to pass on
the good news to workmates, friends and family that they are travelling on
another on-time flight with Europe's most punctual airline."

The importance of this article to the 9/11 truth movement is obvious. 
The simple question is why all the fanfare about this new technology, when calls
from airplanes were obviously not a problem on September 11th 2001??  Who
can ever forget "Hi mom this is Mark Bingham"??

^ Caught those s.o.b's faking the Towers right there! Anyone who’s going to deny it just can’t handle the idea that those Towers were PLANETED folks! It just defies the laws of physics to think otherwise. Obviously they wouldn’t just collapse without any resistance. I mean a plane hitting the Towers with little resistance because it’s travelling at 500mph, with wings full of jetfuel making it like a battering ram at that velocity, crashing into buildings designed to absorb exactly such an impact is one thing. Clearly the planes were faked to, but the faked buildings is what its all about! I know all the “lielings” and "reality huggers" will come here talk trash, make easy arguments that I’ve got no reply to, but they can all just go slush their drivel, who cares about facts when your dealing with such a serious subject as 9/11?

Searching for truth in the rubble

Author Barrie Zwicker believes the White House knocked down the Twin Towers on 9/11. Crazy conspiracy theory? Maybe not.

As the fifth anniversary of 9/11 draws near, recent polls indicate that a growing number of Americans believe they have not been told the full truth behind the events of that terrible day. In other words, more and more people are coming around to the conclusion Canadian journalist and media critic Barrie Zwicker reached within hours of the collapse of the World Trade Center: that forces within the United States government manufactured the attacks as a means of justifying war plans abroad and instituting draconian domestic policies at home.

Outrageous? Possibly. But Zwicker is not a lone conspiracy theorist shouting rhetoric from a street corner. He is part of a widening group of well-educated individuals, collectively known as the 9/11 Truth Movement, who, through exhaustive independent research, have determined that the official story of what happened on Sept. 11 is more far-fetched than any of the so-called "alternative versions."
