Since 9/11 I have been forced to address the shame that I had inside me. I realized that I would have to get rid of that shame in order to be an effective citizen of change for this planet. The way that I got rid of my shame was by sharing things about myself that I was afraid to share in the past for fear of embarrassment with everyone in my life.

This approach worked, but it caused me some unexpected side effects which I wish I could take back. In light of that I would like to suggest two helpful books which should help relieve your shame without going through the trouble of sharing all of your embarrassments with others. The first book is "Feeling Good" by David Burns. I want to specifically point you to chapter 13 of this book. "Your Work Is Not Your Worth." Teaching yourself to do the "operationalization technique" will help you tremendously. If you don't want to read the whole book at least read this chapter. It could change your life.

Another book I would recommend is "A New Guide to Rational Living" by Albert Ellis. I would recommend any book by Albert Ellis, but this one is particularly effective in describing how to change your emotions by changing your thoughts.

The 9/11 Truth Movement. Please take note!

....People are beginning, en masse, to realize the impossibilities, improbabilities, absurdities and bizarreness of the Bush Administration's wacko story, and not just in America, but all over the world. Even rural English market towns have their own 9/11 Truth branches!... The more digging that people do, the more convinced they become that the basic things that they learned from the mainstream media are not only very wanting, but also plainly bogus.
