Bay Area Tanker/Bridge Crash - AP reports Steel Beams "Buckling" from Heat
My brain has been severely weakened and is buckling from this weekend, but can someone analyze this AP story? It is currently the number one story. Excerpt of interest:

Fiery Crash Collapses Bay Area Freeway

A gasoline tanker crashed and burst into flames near the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge on Sunday, creating such intense heat that a stretch of highway melted and collapsed. Officials predicted a traffic nightmare for Bay Area commuters for weeks or months to come.
Flames shot 200 feet in the air, but the truck's driver walked away from the scene with second-degree burns. No other injuries were reported in the 3:45 a.m. crash, which officials said could have been deadly had it occurred at a busier time.
"I've never seen anything like it," Officer Trent Cross of the California Highway Patrol said of the crumpled interchange. "I'm looking at this thinking, 'Wow, no one died' — that's amazing. It's just very fortunate."
Authorities said the damage could take months to repair, and that it would cause the worst disruption for Bay Area commuters since the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake damaged a section of the Bay Bridge itself.

David Weiss passed away on 9/11. He was one of the brave 343 firemen that gave their lives that day. In Arizona, I met David's sister, Michele Little. Since then, she and I have become good friends. She is one of the most positive people I know, and I am thankful for having met her. Through me, Michele met John Feal of the FealGoodFoundation. Michele is currently in the process of setting up a 9/11 Responders Fund in order to help out. She has asked that I help her out with some of the web stuff for her site. Here is a variation of the header I made.
Anyway, just wanted to share.
Sustainable 9/11 activism
Over the years I have done lots of street activism and want to offer my thoughts on how to make 9/11 activism sustainable from a funding point of view. I will try to be relatively brief and to the point.
None of what I say below takes away from my respect for all the contributions that so many are making, each in their own unique way...
I think that all tabling should include:
* activists ;-)
* displays, banners, etc.
* collection of materials that are offered for free, for example:
- deception dollars
- matrix card
- building 7 card
* materials that bring in funds (DVDs for sure - books are heavier, so might require a car)
The trick is to have something to offer for free while having some things that bring in funds.
Deception dollars can be free, which is easy to manage since they cost less then a 5 cents when ordered in quantity. The 2 other handouts that I like - the matrix card and the building 7 card (both from peaceproject.com) cost about 10 cents each if ordered in quantity.

In any case, this will certainly serve as timely rebuttal-ammo whenever the implausibility of the WTC collapse is pointed out. Could it be...?
I'm not saying anything yet. They cite the temperature: 2,750 degrees. Does gasoline burn that much hotter than jet fuel?

Dear Senator Gravel,
Do you want to win?
You are one word away from turning US politics on its head. There is one powerful, earth shaking word that can stop this madness in its tracks and press "reset" on the entire imperial project.
That word is "Treason."
In particular, the treason that transpired on September 11th 2001. There is no other issue, and no other combination of words that will put you in the White Hosue except for this issue, and this word: Treason.
Treason is knowingly allowing the attacks on our nation and not doing anything whatsoever to stop them. That happened. Everyone knows it, yet no one puts it on national television.
Treason is being told "America is under attack," yet sitting there, stalling for time, and reading a children's book.
Treason is when the Vice President of the United States illegally assumes control of our armed forces and orders a stand down of force protection at the Pentagon, as witnessed in Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta's testimony under oath to the 9/11 Commission.
