Putting Giuliani's lie in context: Who was the anonymous "engineer type person" who predicted collapse?
Luke Rudowski, Sabrina Rivero and Tom Foti courageously confronted Rudy Giuliani about his foreknowledge of the collapse of the Twin Towers. Even Pat at Screw Loose Change quietly admitted, "Yes, as far as I know, Rudy's wrong when he says there was no forewarning of the possibility of collapse of the WTC towers."
The story of foreknowledge of the collapse of the towers is a strange one and worth revisiting, because one of the most important (and prescient) observations alleged to have taken place on 9/11 is attributed to an anonymous person (on the ground, about 800 feet from the impact). In the 9/11 Commission Report, the warning of total collapse arrives like this:
"At about 9:57 an EMS paramedic approached the FDNY Chief of Department and advised that an engineer in front of 7 WTC had just remarked that the Twin Towers in fact were in imminent danger of a total collapse" (302).
Could it have been Harley Guy? We'll never know, because no one involved seems to know the name of this anonymous "engineer" with magical powers of foresight.

The BetterBadNews panel discuss reports that two computers siezed in a recent Al Qaeda raid had Rosie O’Donnel video clips stored on their hard drives. The subject of the video’s was the 9/11 Truth movement.
The video clips clearly show Rosie telling viewers to look outside the United States for news to find out what’s really going down. “in America we are fed propaganda”, she says.
Donald Rumsfeld and Tim Russert are also seen admiring a detailed drawing of Osama Bin Laden’s advanced network of modern military caves in Tora Bora that never existed.

On Tuesday, members of a 911 truth activist group confronted former Mayor Rudy Giuliani at a New York fundraiser about the fall of the World Trade Center.
"How come people in the buildings weren't notified?" asked one member of the group. "And how can you sleep at night?"
Giuliani's politely-phrased response, caught by WNBC newscameras filming the event, was "I didn't know that the towers were going to collapse."
That response contradicts remarks the former New York City mayor made about being warned about the collapse during a phone interview with onetime ABC anchor Peter Jennings on September 11, 2001, as shown in a transcript WNBC obtained from the Giuliani 2008 campaign.
San Diego Hopes 9/11 Grand Jury Indictments Might Some Day Be Made
The only result from a grand jury experiment that took place in San Diego on April 14, 2007, is this serious and sincere warning:
The grand jury system is vulnerable, and can be abused. Its future application to 9/11 crimes needs to be wisely managed and very carefully watched by conscientious people or 9/11 justice may never be achieved.
Although a number of procedural problems prevented the people who volunteered to act as jurors at the April 14 event from ever working together to come to conclusions and issue indictments, they say a grand jury may some day be able to do so.
More than half the original volunteers dissociated themselves from the event on or shortly after April 14. Even so, at least eleven out of eleven of them have expressed in writing their very strong desire to publicly correct false reports that a citizens’ grand jury in San Diego indicted or charged people with 9/11 crimes.

Lend a Helping Hand!
We've done a lot of work over the last several months. Several hundred new events have been added to the History Commons database. But we need your help! Our goal is for the History Commons to become civil society's intelligence database, a place where the public can document scandals, injustices, and history in general. There are many types of forces that contribute to historical change. But arguably, one of the most powerful is technological changes that alter the relationship between producers and consumers. A decade ago, the common consumer of information did not have the means to produce and distribute information, or contribute directly to the published historical record. With the Internet, all this has changed. The History Commons seeks to exploit this technology to the fullest extent possible in a way that maximizes the influence that civil society has over information production, thus enabling people at the grassroots level to keep a close eye on the activities of powerful individuals and organizations.

By Donald Rumsfeld's own admission, he was unaware of any threats to the Pentagon -- the building where he was located during the September 11th attacks -- until an aircraft crashed into the side of it, and he ran out "into the smoke" to see if it might be a

Well, that's a pretty tall tale by any standard. The New York Times reported that by 8:13am, the FAA was aware of the first hijacking out of Boston. The Pentagon explosion, which Donald Rumsfeld claimed he had "no idea," did not occur until approximately 9:37am, nearly an hour and a half later, this after two of the tallest buildings in the world were devastated. Note that a plane hijacked out of Boston can reach Washington D.C. as easily as it can reach New York City.
It was reported that Pentagon personnel were indeed aware of the threats to their security, and they took security measures on that morning. But not the "Secretary of Defense."

Truth Squads Should Bring Up Bin Laden FBI Profile
Recently 9/11 Truth Squads have done a bang up job confronting presidential candidates about the mysterious collapse of World Trade Center 7. All the candidates seem surprised by the question, promise to "look into it" and give a response some time in the future. This is all helpful to our cause, and Building 7 is clearly a smoking gun issue, but there are a couple of even more fundamental questions. For example:

"I want to focus on one brief exchange in the Gore interview because it says a lot. The interviewer focused on Gore's claim that the invasion of Iraq was the 'single greatest mistake in the history of the United States'. With some prodding, Gore expanded. By 'mistake' he meant the acceptance of a panoply of lies by Bush and his associates that deceived the people into believing Saddam had played a role in 9/11. My ears perked up. Could it be possible Gore was inching toward a hint that something hugely nefarious had taken place behind the scenes? His claim that the American people had committed a monstrous 'mistake' in supporting the war and in allowing themselves to be foolishly deceived by Bush and his accomplices just might open the door for a rational discussion of 9/11. False flag ops are old hat in American history, and Gore knows it. I was on pins and needles.
