Council on Foreign Relations: Beware an Al Qaeda false flag attack
An article in the recent Foreign+Affairs, titled "Al Qaeda Strikes Back," posits a possible premise for war with Iran that only someone writing for Foreign Affairs could imagine: a false flag attack by AL QAEDA. The article is full of the usual nonsense about how powerful Al Qaeda is, but then there's this passage:
"The biggest danger is that al Qaeda will deliberately provoke a war with a "false-flag" operation, say, a terrorist attack carried out in a way that would make it appear as though it were Iran's doing. The United States should be extremely wary of such deception. In the event of an attack, accurately assigning blame will require very careful intelligence work. It may require months, or even years, of patient investigating to identify the plotters behind well-planned and well-executed operations, as it did for the 1988 bombing of Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, and the 1996 attacks on the U.S. barracks at the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia. Presidents George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton were wise to be patient in both those cases; Washington would be well advised to do the same in the event of a similar attack in the future. In the meantime, it should, of course, continue do its utmost to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and from fomenting violence and terrorism in the Middle East by using tough diplomacy and targeted sanctions. And it should not consider a military operation against Iran, as doing so would only strengthen al Qaeda's hand -- much as the U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq have."
I'm not sure what to take from this. On the one hand, it recommends America not leap into action after the next terror attack because it could be a false flag attack. On the other hand, it contains this twisted logic that Al Qaeda, not the US government, would sponsor a false flag attack as a premise for an invasion of Iran.

9-11 is one of the most infamous days of our current time. Many people experienced the events of that day with surprise, shock, sadness, and anger. I am one of them.All of these emotions clouded my judgment until I early on discovered an entire, very credible counter culture for lack of a better term that from almost day one has researched and opposed the official government story parroted by the mainstream. This counter culture that involves people and experts from all walks of life has been mostly unable to get an honest spirited debate in the mainstream without being labeled nut cases and anti-American. Why is this?
DENIAL AND DISMISSAL
In my study of the events of that fateful day, I have encountered two primary reasons why most people dismiss an engaging debate on the subject:
1. The Government cannot do anything right let alone keep a grand conspiracy like this under wraps
2. George Bush, as hated as he is, especially by the liberal media would incite responses/investigations from those in the media to expose him for being part of it.

Griffin: Let me tell you a new thing that most people don’t know. This was dug up by Rowland Morgan and Ian Henshall who wrote wrote the book, “9/11 Revealed.” ... it has to do with the alleged phone calls from Barbara Olson. Now you know and many of your listeners know that Ted Olson, her husband, who claims he got the call from her from………
Blood: They say he is going to be the new AG (Attorney General). I just had to thump that in. That’s the rumor going around [crosstalk]
Griffin: Yeah, more than likely. But he claims that he got this call from Barbara, his wife, from Flight 77 but he was unclear. First he would say it was from cell phone and then he would say, well no it was from one of the seat back phones. And he’s gone back and forth. So, it turns out now we know that cell phone calls were not possible. So, that makes everybody say, well sure maybe she did it on airfones. It turns out that particular Boeing, American Boeing 757 that Flight 77 was, was not equipped with airfones. This was a stunning development.
Blood: This was a stunning development. How come I haven’t heard that before, David?
Griffin: Because Roland’s book hasn’t got much attention. It’s a shame because it’s such a great book.
Blood: So it only could have been done by cell phone. They had no in flight phones on 77. Is that what you are saying?
Griffin: That’s right. And they checked and they double-checked and I quote all of their correspondence with American on that issue.
Blood: Did we have people on the record, David, saying that people used in-flight phones on that flight where there were no in-flight phones? Do we have them on the record trying to manipulate previous information to that level?
Griffin: Well, it was the call from Barbara Olson that some people have claimed was on the in-flight. I don’t know about other callers.

Virgin Atlantic have become the first airline to buy Louder Than Words’ controversial 9/11 documentary Loose Change 2.
The film, which has been broadcast in over 20 countries, states the official version of events that day were manufactured and that the American government was behind attacks.
Patricia Hickey, sales manager at Mercury, was delighted: “We are thrilled that Virgin Atlantic have the foresight to acquire such an important film. Hopefully more airlines will follow.”

Observing seeming opportunists in the media selectively comparing the recent fire induced California Bay area bridge collapse and the apparent deliberate destruction of the World Trade Center towers is truly like watching a comparison of apples and oranges.
One Associated Press account of the Bay area event reads as follows:
"Some scientists were studying linkages between the freeway collapse and how the World Trade Center came down on Sept. 11, 2001.
The structural failures appear similar, said David McCallen, division leader in nonproliferation, homeland and international security at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory."

Virgin Atlantic Airways to Show Loose Change 2 In-Flight
UPDATE: Confirmed by Virgin Atlantic's in flight entertainment web page. Its listed, however, under "tv" and not under "movies". So is it one of the in-flight options, but not the official turn-off-the-lights in-flight movie?
Patricia Hickey of Mercury Media has confirmed this story to me by email, copying Dylan Avery with her response. Tim Sparke of Mercury Media also confirmed the story to me, and said that the story should get some press tomorrow. Sparke said that the film will run during the month of May.
I've attached the press release and what is supposedly a page from Virgin Atlantic's May magazine. As you can see from the magazine, Loose Change is the movie Virgin Atlantic recommends people watch.
Mercury Media is a real company, apparently founded by alums of Disney, Sony Pictures, and other large media players.

A thinking person needs just one or two facts to begin understanding that there is much more to either story than we are normally told.
Some similarities:
—It is not possible for the bolt-action rifle allegedly used by Oswald to have fired that quickly. Similarly, it is not possible for the WTC Towers and WTC 7 to have collapsed at free-fall speed for the reasons given in the official story.
—The "single bullet" theory is obviously absurd. Similarly, it is absurd to claim that two airplanes were capable of destroying three buildings in precisely the same manner on 9/11.
—The Warren Commission was tightly controlled by Johnson and Hoover. Similarly, the 9/11 Commission was controlled by the Bush administration through its appointment of Phillip Zelikow, and others.
