Help out a fellow patriot
Hello:
This isn't my style usually but a very good friend of mine was in a terrible apartment fire and had to be revived at the scene. He suffered internal injuries and is rehabilitating as we speak. His medical bills are piling up and his insurance is not going to cover nearly enough.
Joe has been a Patriot and has spoken out to everyone he meets about all types of issues, including the inconsistencies of the official story of 9/11.
Here is a picture of Joe (furthest on the right), me (blue shirt), and some friends during the 5th anniversary gathering at Ground Zero.
Joe intended to go to Ground Zero this year, but due to his injuries he will be unable to. He was also set to be married in October but the wedding has been postponed.

9/11 Commissioner Richard Ben-Veniste Questions Condoleezza Rice About The August 6th, PDB
Someone on my site watched this recently, so I thought I would as well. I noticed a friend is in it, so I figured what the hell, I'll upload it to Google Video. This is probably the "shining moment" of the 9/11 Commission. The one thing they, or at least Richard Ben-Veniste, did right. I am no fan of Richard Ben-Veniste. According to 9/11 Family Member Bob McIlvaine, Ben-Veniste told him that the 9/11 Commission was "not an investigation but merely an exposition." Knowing that, and not making the public aware of it, or not attempting to report it to the media, and not resigning his position in protest, is criminal as far as I'm concerned. 9/11 Commissioner Max Cleland spoke up. If Richard Ben-Veniste wanted any credibility, he would have done the same. - Jon

Dr. Frank Legge has published an excellent article “Conspiracy Theories, Myths, Skepticism, and 9/11: their Impact on Democracy” in the Journal of 9/11 Studies, today. It passed peer review prior to publication.
It begins thus: “Abstract: A discussion of conspiracy theories, myths and skepticism is presented. The importance of skepticism in a society in which myths may be deliberately created by authorities to manipulate the public is stressed. A range of methods of avoiding acceptance of myths, including application of the scientific method, is demonstrated using the events of 9/11. A clear understanding of events, unclouded by myths, is essential for the proper functioning of a democracy.

Muddying the Waters
The History Channel's mockumentary "9/11 Conspiracies -- Fact or Fiction?" puts me in the mind of the old Camp Chaos cartoon "MP3 Music -- Good or Goblin?" Somebody high up in the History Channel's chain of command was ordered to or decided that something had to be done to muddy the waters of debate or at least make a gesture of superiority toward the already maligned "conspiracy" movement. The condescending tone of the hit piece reflected a growing anxiety in the mainstream press about the fact that this old story won't go away quickly. ("For your amusement, here are some conspiracy wackos, followed by the opinions of experts who dismiss their claims.")
UPDATE: The Signed Kennebunkport Warning
UPDATE: 8-30-2007 - The controversy continues with this Warning, and visitors to and users of 911blogger.com should know that there are accusations of a hoax and misrepresentation surrounding this document. On her website, Dahlia Wasfi states, "Cindy Sheehan, Cynthia McKinney, and Jamilla El-Shafei, none of us signed that document." However, this does not appear to be borne out in the jpeg below, which features El-Shafei's signature first, Sheehan's in the fourth slot, and Wasfi's in the fifth slot. Bruce Marshall of www.actindependent.org (who sent us the scan) is adamant that all signees in the jpeg physically signed the document and were conscious of what they were signing. To date, Wasfi is the only signee who is publicly distancing herself from the warning on the record, that we know of. We'll keep you posted. -rep.
