Vital Lockerbie evidence 'was tampered with'
That's one of the headlines in today's Observer. The article starts:
"The key piece of material evidence used by prosecutors to implicate Libya in the Lockerbie bombing has emerged as a probable fake. Nearly two decades after Pan Am flight 103 exploded over Scotland on 21 December, 1988, allegations of international political intrigue and shoddy investigative work are being levelled at the British government, the FBI and the Scottish police as one of the crucial witnesses, Swiss engineer Ulrich Lumpert, has apparently confessed that he lied about the origins of a crucial 'timer' - evidence that helped tie the man convicted of the bombing to the crime."

I liked the last paragraph too:
"Few people apart from conspiracy theorists and investigative journalists working on the case were prepared to believe Bollier until the end of last month, when Lumpert, one of his former employees, walked into a Zurich police station and asked to swear an affidavit before a notary."

Pentagon ‘three-day blitz’ plan for Iran
(Normally, I wouldn't put something this far off topic (9/11) on the front page. But with so much hardware stacked up around Iran, what exactly is stopping this administration from using it? Will the pretext be False Flag, or realizing the "surge" of skepticism sure to follow what Peter Dale Scott would call a "meta-event", will Bushco merely declare the Iranian Revolutionary Guards a "terrorist" organization, and flatten Iran's infrastructure? Perhaps the declaration would follow the strike. Some of the features of a "meta-event": a) the immediate identification of the perps. b) support from the corporate press in stamping the guilt of the original perps into the public consciousness, no matter what kind of contrary evidence comes up later (in the case of 9/11, unprecedented support). c) the involvement of "Double Agents" or what Peter Lance coyly calls "Triple Agents", like Ali Mohamed, who was sheep-dipped into "al Qaeda", trained at Fort Bragg, and was an asset of the CIA, FBI and the US Army. The principal author of the fabled "al Qaeda" training manual is American citizen, Ali Mohamed, currently living off your tax dollars in "some kind of custodial witness protection". The American Intelligence asset tied to the 1993 WTC bombing, the murder of Meir Kahane, the US Embassy bombings, and who knew more about the 9/11 plot than the patsy Moussaoui.
JFK, Martin Luther King, Pearl Harbor, the Gulf of Tonkin, none of these "meta-events" had a Truth movement like the 9/11 skeptics. Just think about that for a minute. -rep.)

I have a friend who is an LSO on a carrier attack group that is planning and staging a strike group deployment into the Gulf of Hormuz. (LSO: Landing Signal Officer- she directs carrier aircraft while landing) She told me we are going to attack Iran. She said that all the Air Operation Planning and Asset Tasking are finished. That means that all the targets have been chosen, prioritized, and tasked to specific aircraft, bases, carriers, missile cruisers and so forth.
I asked her why she is telling me this.

She started in the Marines and after 8 years her term was up. She had served on a smaller Marine carrier, and found out through a friend knew there was an opening for a junior grade LSO in a training position on a super carrier. She used the reference and the information and applied for a transfer to the United States Navy. Since she had experience landing F-18Cs and Cobra Gunships, and an unblemished combat record, she was ratcheted into the job, successfully changing from the Marines to the Navy. Her role is still aligned with the Marines since she generally is assigned to liaison with the Marine units deploying off her carrier group.

Ryan Mackey Offers Answer to Griffin's NIST Chapter
Hi all,
I checked out JREF for the first time in awhile today, and finally their own Ryan Mackey has offered an answer to David Ray Griffin's latest book - at least the NIST chapter. It's an MS Word document totaling 198 pages.
I've read the first several pages where he gives a general overview. I don't have the time or energy to get into it in depth tonight (or for that matter this whole weekend). I would like to read it all, but perhaps some of you can beat me to it. I am open to all sides of an argument and this would indeed be the first lengthy critique to any aspect of Griffin's book. That being said, much of what I've read so far isn't impressive; he basically says, (in a long-winded way designed to fill up space), that "YOU are claiming controlled demolition, so the burden of proof is on YOU, not on NIST."
Anyone out there want to help me out? I'm interested in what people think are the paper's strong points and flaws. I think it's important that Truthers and Debunkers put their strongest stuff out in the open to be examined objectively.

Paint your favorite 9/11 Truth slogan prominently on the lawn. It will last a few weeks depending on mowing habits.
Ideal for the rural activist. And can be done anonymously during the hours of the night if so desired.
The paint often comes in boxes, but I say we put a few resources here in order for people to buy them.
This action isn't going to give you the kind of fame or publicity as a YouTube clip at a Presidential Town Hall meeting, but I think it can be just as effective in educating the public, particularly those without internet access, and getting our goals met. Which I'm ready for.

Romney: 'Dramatic' retaliation to nuclear attack

NEWBERRY, S.C. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says that if terrorists detonated a nuclear bomb in a U.S. city while he was president he would retaliate "in a very dramatic and clear way."
Posed that scenario while campaigning Friday in this early primary state, Romney said he didn't want to say much more.
"The answer is you would retaliate and you'd retaliate in a very dramatic and clear way. I don't want to be terribly more specific than that," the former Massachusetts governor said.

Where is the NSA report on 9/11?
The FBI performed so bad before 9/11 that it took four and a half years to get an unredacted version of the DOJ inspector general's report. The CIA performed so bad before 9/11 that it took nearly six years to get a redacted summary of its inspector general's report. The NSA performed so bad before 9/11 that it has not even admitted its inspector general wrote a report.
Given that the NSA was tapping the hijackers' phones, it surely has a couple of issues to address and explain to the public (for example: why did you let them do it?), but it has not done so as far as I can see. I have never heard of any NSA inspector general report and, when I had a look just now, I couldn't find anything. The NSA admits at its website that it has an inspector general and he is reputed to have begun work on at least one report (into warrantless wiretapping), so presumably he would write a report into the agency's failings before 9/11. However, I can't find a single trace of it. Can anybody help me out here? Is there at least a mention somewhere, anywhere of the NSA inspector general writing a report on the agency's performance before 9/11?
