As we all know, Norman Mineta's testimony was never investigated or mentioned in the 9/11 Report. You would think that the "young man" that was involved in such an important moment during the 9/11 attacks would be named, and brought before the 9/11 Commission. He was not.

This clip is from C-SPAN's 5/26/2005 taping of the "Washington Journal". The caller clearly states that at the time the Pentagon was hit, Cheney was aware of the incoming plane according to Norman Mineta's testimony. At the end of this segment, Lee Hamilton says that Cheney was "in the key position at the time". Prior to that, he said that "the Vice President was in the operation room", and "when the impact did occur." To me, this sounds like Lee Hamilton just confirmed Norman Mineta's testimony.

Prof. Steven E. Jones (Journal of 911 Studies.com) has reported the successful publication of a new peer-reviewed paper concerning the destruction of the World Trade Center. We wish to congratulate him and his colleagues on this outstanding achievement, but also to honor him for his moral character and his wonderful, civil demeanor. I'm sorry to say that the first "Week Of Truth" was not successful as far as getting "The Shell Game" on the NYTimes Best Sellers List. We managed to sell roughly 1000 books when the amount needed was between 10k and 12k. At one point on Amazon.com, we managed to get the book to #62 overall, #12 in Literature & Fiction overall, #1 in L&F/War, #4 in L&F/United States, and #5 in L&F/World Literature. I'm not going to make excuses as to why we failed. We tried, we did our best, and we failed.

However, as a result of our action, Richard Greene from Air America's Clout is now going to devote an entire month to having 9/11 debates. As a result of our action, we showed that there are people in this movement that are willing to work together for the greater good. As a result of our action, several people around the country heard 9/11 Truth for the first time because of the different interviews that took place. As a result of our action, we have learned from any mistakes we may have made so as to make the next "Week Of Truth" even better.

In order for people to have their say, a forum has been implemented on the "Week Of Truth" website. If you had problems with how the first "Week Of Truth" was handled, make sure you go to the site, and make your opinion heard. (And offer suggestions for a new initiative! -rep.)

If you're not aware, Dr. William Pepper has started an initiative to get a call for a new investigation into the 9/11 attacks on the ballots of New York.

I know there are problems as it stands right now (the writing of the petition, some of the people on the committee, etc...), and there are many obstacles to making it successful. I wanted to at least discuss it, and not let the idea fall into limbo. Several people I respect IMMENSELY (including Bob McIlvaine, and Lorie Van Auken) would like this to succeed, and I want to try and make that happen.
