Boston Helps NY/911 Truth Collect Signatures
On Thursday 5 intrepid members of Boston 9/11 Truth went to NYC in the early morning to help New York members collect signatures to get a referendum on the ballot in November which would re-open the seriously flawed 9/11 commission.
The trip down itself was not without incident: a flat-tire going AND returning, heavy downpours and the predictable heavily congested traffic on I-95 near NYC. Nevertheless, the group arrived by 11 am at Union Square park where the petitioning was taking place that day. They joined other NY chapter members who were stationed through the park, at subway entrances and speaking to many New Yorkers sitting on the park benches to take in the sun.
It was not difficult to collect signatures, as many New Yorkers are well-informed about 9/11 and like to engage in political discussions. At least half of those asked to sign were not NYC registered voters and so were ineligible to sign. Of those eligible perhaps one in four would agree to sign.

GUANTANAMO BAY NAVY BASE, Cuba — Soon after Osama bin Laden's driver got here in 2002, he told interrogators the identity of the al Qaeda chief's most senior bodyguard — then a fellow prison camp detainee.
But, inexplicably, the U.S. let the bodyguard go.
This startling information was revealed in the fourth day of the war crimes trial of Salim Hamdan, 37, facing conspiracy and material support for terror charges as an alleged member of bin Laden's inner circle.
Michael St. Ours, an agent with the Naval Criminal Intelligence Service, NCIS, provided the first tidbit. He testified for the prosecution that his job as a prison camps interrogator in May 2002 was to find and focus on the bodyguards among the detainees.
And Hamdan helped identify 30 of them — 10 percent of the roughly 300 detainees then held here. They had just been transferred to Camp Delta from the crude compound called Camp X-Ray, and U.S. intelligence was still trying to unmask them.

As you and your PNAC associates are working so assiduously to trigger a "pre-emptive" attack against Iran (a nation which has neither attacked nor threatened to attack either Israel or the US and is a signatory of the NNPT), and as you evidently take great pride in your "authorship" of the Iraq invasion, occupation and "surge", I am compelled to recommend a few photographs for your consideration. Although there are many thousands like them on the internet, somehow I sense you may not have had the opportunity to view them. As an academic myself, I understand how easily such abstractions as "war", "empire" and "national interest" can obscure the palpable facts of their realization.

HOUSTON -- A Continental Airlines flight carrying seven members of Congress from Houston to Washington was forced to make an emergency landing after it lost cabin pressure Tuesday afternoon.
Flight 458 was bound for Reagan National Airport, but was diverted and landed safely in New Orleans, a spokeswoman for U.S. Rep. Ted Poe told 11 News.
Poe and fellow Texas Congressmen Nick Lampson, Ron Paul, John Carter, Ciro Rodriguez, Solomon Ortiz and Henry Cuellar were aboard the flight, said Poe's press secretary DeeAnn Thigpen.
Ironically, the seven congressmen were trying to get back in time for a Tuesday night vote on an aviation safety bill, a spokesman for one of the representatives said.
There were 118 people total aboard the plane, Continental spokeswoman Julie King said.
No one was hurt.
Continental Airlines said the problem was caused by a sudden loss in cabin pressure.

A pair of University of Guelph professors have joined a growing number of academics and filmmakers who are writing and broadcasting their doubts about the official explanation behind the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in 2001.
In a host of public forums, John McMurtry, professor emeritus of philosophy, and Michael Keefer, a professor in the School of English and Theatre Studies, have presented arguments alleging a plot on the part of the American government, business and military leaders related to the events of Sept. 11, 2001.
More than 2,700 people died.
