Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the self-proclaimed mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, will probably remain in military detention without trial for the foreseeable future, according to Obama administration officials.

The administration has concluded that it cannot put Mohammed on trial in federal court because of the opposition of lawmakers in Congress and in New York. There is also little internal support for resurrecting a military prosecution at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The latter option would alienate liberal supporters.

The administration asserts that it can hold Mohammed and other al-Qaeda operatives under the laws of war, a principle that has been upheld by the courts when Guantanamo Bay detainees have challenged their detention.

The White House has made it clear that President Obama will ultimately make the decision, and a federal prosecution of Mohammed and four alleged co-conspirators has not been ruled out, senior officials said. Still, they acknowledge that a trial is unlikely to happen before the next presidential election and, even then, would require a different political environment.

Be Careful Denzel – That Ground Zero Dust is Explosive!

In a recent interview published by The Daily Mail in the U.K., the Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington spoke briefly about his time in New York around 9/11/01:

“I’m from New York, I was at Ground Zero and it changed my life. I’m a native New Yorker to the day I die. I had to be there. I was stunned. I was as close as I am to you now looking down in the hole days after it happened. For everyone involved it was traumatic. I saw people just sitting there exhausted because the guys had worked two or three days straight.”

Report From Iron Mountain On The Possibilility & Desirability of Peace 1967

Hello Truthseekers & Truthtellers,

Are you aware of this statement: "No modern political ruling group has successfully controlled its constituency after failing to sustain the continuing credibility of an external threat of war." These words were taken from the "The Report From Iron Mountain" (1967). The official government account of 9/11 continues to lose its credibility thanks to the 9/11 Truth Movement. Stay positive in your pursuit of truth. If you haven't read this report consider reading it because it will give you a lot to think about when it ...comes to war and peace. I attached a link to the report. Take Care Matt

New video helps the War against Terrorism

by Eli Rika

Over the last century, the most astounding historical discoveries of man-made artifacts have often been accomplished by well-funded, highly experienced researchers. From the excavation of King Tut’s tomb to the sighting of the sunken Titanic, stunning finds have required immense financial and human resources, as well as leadership by distinguished explorers. So, how did a mountain of never-before-seen footage used in NIST’s World Trade Center investigations get exposed to the light of day last month? Was it the work of a billionaire adventurer?

Not quite. You can thank an upstart non-profit, the International Center for 9/11 Studies, whose efforts have at last borne fruit.

The International Center for 9/11 Studies was founded in 2008 by Director James Gourley, a Texas lawyer who began questioning the events of 9/11 after watching a presentation given by David Ray Griffin on C-SPAN.

“I was just floored by what I was hearing,” Gourley explained, “and I’ve been looking into 9/11 ever since then.”

As death toll of 9/11 responders nears 1,000, pols want autopsy standards to pinpoint causes

As death toll of 9/11 responders nears 1,000, pols want autopsy standards to pinpoint causes

WASHINGTON - The staggering death toll for Ground Zero responders has soared past 916 - and still no one knows what really killed them.

Now, nine years after the terror attacks, doctors and some New York lawmakers are urging the federal Department of Health and Human Services to draft autopsy protocols to pinpoint 9/11-related fatalities, the Daily News has learned.

Astonishingly, there are no written standards to help doctors diagnose post-9/11 deaths, leaving a void that's wreaked enormous emotional pain and conflict on survivors.

"It was heart-wrenching," said Joe Zadroga, who watched his NYPD officer son, James, slowly deteriorate from scarred lungs until he died in 2007.

Niels Harrit named in regard to swedish "Malmö Shooter"

Lately there was an arrest in Sweden of an alleged shooter or sniper who is suspicious to have killed someone. This man lived some time in the US, and, the swedish newspaper Expressen claims:

På nätet visade han också intresse för den danske forskaren Niels Harrit,
som hävdar att flera ton högteknologiska sprängmedel användes för att rasera
World Trade Center-skraporna.

English translation:
On the net, he showed also interest in the Danish scientist Niels Harrit, who claim that several tonnes of high-tech explosives used to bring down the World Trade Center skyscrapers.

Not the first time for such a smear attempt, but certainly for Harrit.

Amnesty International: US must begin criminal investigation of torture following Bush admission

http://www.amnestyusa.org/document.php?id=ENGPRE201011101946&lang=e#

PRESS RELEASE
November, 10 2010

Amnesty International today urged a criminal investigation into the role of former US President George W. Bush and other officials in the use of "enhanced interrogation techniques" against detainees held in secret US custody after the former president admitted authorizing their use.

In his memoirs, published yesterday, and in an interview on NBC News broadcast on 8 November 2010, the former President confirmed his personal involvement in authorising "water-boarding" and other techniques against "high value detainees".

"Under international law, the former President's admission to having authorized acts that amount to torture are enough to trigger the USA's obligations to investigate his admissions and if substantiated, to prosecute him," said Claudio Cordone, Senior Director at Amnesty International.

"His admissions also highlight once again the absence of accountability for the crimes under international law of torture and enforced disappearance committed by the USA."
