This is quite exciting to see. Great to see those seeking 9/11 truth taking action and visiting Camp Casey!
Today on my way back to town I took the time to listen to Sean Hannity (yes, that Sean Hannity). What caught my attention was that he was talking about the 9/11 coverup! I was unfortunately dismayed to hear that his only arguement of a 9/11 coverup was the recently popular 'Able Danger' articles. Hannity told his listeners that this was proof positive of Clinton knowing about the 9/11 Hijackers prior to 9/11 and doing nothing to stop it. Now I'm not here to get caught up in the left/right paradigm of politics, and I'm definately not here to defend Clinton, but the irony of his statements were worth mentioning. While I can't find a transcript of his show, here is a brief paraphrase of what he was spewing from his mouth, hopefully you can see the irony.
Today new documents related to the planning of the war in Iraq were released. These new documents show quite succinctly that the initial planning for the war in Iraq began within 3 to 7 weeks after 9/11. These new revelations further go to show that statements made by Richard Clarke (and others) that Iraq, not Al-Queda, was the word on Bush and Rumsfeld's lips on 9/11 were almost definately true.
How do these new revelations relate to 9/11?
Last month, he testified at a congressional briefing on the 9/11 Commission’s final report, the supposedly definitive account of the events leading up to the attacks. The latter assembly, formally called the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, said it sought political neutrality in its compilation of the document—but Thompson contends that the report is a wholly bipartisan effort, greatly sanitized amid the 10 commissioners’ political affiliations.

But all this is academic. Mohamed Atta was never a green-card holder. Worse still, he never had a valid entry visa. On the contrary, in January 2001, Atta was permitted reentry into the United States after a trip to Germany, despite being in violation of his visa status. He had landed in Miami on January 10 on a flight from Madrid on a tourist visa - yet he had told immigration inspectors that he was taking flying lessons in the US, for which an M-1 student visa is strictly required.

We would like to thank Lt. Colonel Anthony Shaffer for coming forward with invaluable information that could ultimately be used to help make our nation safer.
The mandate of the 9/11 Commission was to unearth these facts so as to provide the necessary fixes that would prevent, thwart or mitigate the results of another attack. We strongly disagree with Thomas Kean's and Lee Hamilton's latest conclusion that Able Danger "did not turn out to be historically significant, set against the larger context of U.S. policy and intelligence efforts that involved (Osama) bin Laden and al Qaeda." Clearly, knowledge of the hijackers whereabouts, one year prior to 9/11, would be of extreme relevance to the 9/11 story and would have bearings on recommendations put forth by the 9/11 Commission. It is, therefore, becoming increasingly apparent that the Commission failed in their obligation to the American Public and to those who lost their lives on 9/11.
He spoke on the subject of unity in the movements involved in the Truth Emergency Convergence in D.C. and the need to avoid allowing differences of opinion to fracture a group that is unified in its goals.
Like Cindy Sheehan, the "Jersey Girls" are pursuing a precious and rarely seen commodity in the Bush Administration: the truth. Kristen Breitweiser, Mindy Kleinberg, Lorie Van Auken and Patty Casazza have dogged the White House since 9/11, wanting to know the truth about what government errors led to the loss of their husbands in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.
When they began their journey, what they didn't know was that the administration that ran its 2000 election on a platform of transparency in government had shut -- tighter than a safe at Fort Knox -- the doors on truth. Of course, when a president and national security adviser receive a briefing paper that tells them Al-Qaeda plans to hijack planes in the United States -- and they both ignore it and do absolutely nothing to prevent the action -- you might say the Jersey Girls had good reason to suspect that they weren't going to hear the full story.
For some reason or another the omission of 'Able Danger' from the 9/11 Commission report is gaining massive media coverage. I find this particularly interesting as the media has not found any of their other ommissions and distortions worth covering, let alone the recent 9/11 Congressional Briefing.
In any event, Daniel Hopsicker, from madcowprod.com, has written a new article in response to the recent articles about 'Able Danger'.
Former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds is accusing the FBI of covering up improper contacts and financial dealings between certain Turkish nationals and the office of House Speaker Dennis Hastert. We speak with Sibel Edmonds and Vanity Fair journalist David Rose.
truthemergency.us have posted Robert Bowman's speech from the Truth Emergency Convergence held in July. You can find part one and part two here. The first part is not directly related to 9/11, but the second half is. He is an amazing speaker, perhaps due to his military background, and has a way of really stiring up some emotions when he says 'Treason!'. Check the videos out.
SE: The fact that there are no investigations – I will give you an analogy, okay? Say if we decided to have a "war on drugs," but said in the beginning, "right, we're only going to go after the young black guys on the street level." Hey, we already have tens of thousands of them in our jails anyway, why not a few more? But we decided never to go after the middle levels, let alone the top levels…
It's like this with the so-called war on terror. We go for the Attas and Hamdis – but never touch the guys on the top.
Been a while since I did a grab bag. Tonight's grab bag is basically a listing of current 9/11 related commentary coming from the mainstream press. It seems as though the 'right' has decided to pick up the discussion of a 9/11 coverup as a way to make it a partisan issue, specifically to blame it squarely on Clinton. Also included are further followup to the recent 'Able Danger' articles, the upcoming National Geographic 9/11 documentary, and an 'Al-Queda militant' who claims he funded and provided visas for 9/11 high-jackers.
Check them out and post some comments.

A. Yes, Stuyvesant High School, until they figured out, I guess, there was no gas leak or no secondary bomb. Or no bomb. I guess they put the PD in there to search it. They moved us back south. We ended up back up on Vesey Street and West Street and just hanging out until tower 7 came down.
Then we found out, I guess around 3:00 o'clock, that they thought 7 was going to collapse.
Basically, we fell back for 7 to collapse, and then we waited a while and it got a lot more organized, I would guess.
To the Editor:
The recent controversy over Able Danger once again raises questions about the thoroughness of the 9/11 Commission. Among the events they failed to investigate were the multiple war games taking place on 9/11 which interfered with NORAD's and NEAD's ability to respond to the hijackings; the resulting 'chaff' on the radar screens which stymied efforts to recognize hijacked planes; the planes that were sent off at far less than maximum speed, from a relatively inconvenient air base and in the wrong direction; the failure of the Pentagon, the most highly defended building in the world, to defend itself on 9/11. The Commission also failed to follow Rule Number 1 of any investigation: Follow the money. "Ultimately the question is of little practical significance," they said (p. 172.) Their Report, in short, was an all-round failure.
Nafeez Ahmed, author of The War on Truth: 9/11, DIsinformation and the Anatomy of Terrorism, Behind the War on Terror and The War on Freedom, is interviewed by 'Newsweek International' editor Fareed Zakaria on his show PBS Foreign Exchange, to be aired within the next few days.
The show has three guests and Nafeez comes in as the third interviewee.
Description on the Foreign Exchange website: "In a new book, 'The War on Truth,' British author Nafeez Ahmed makes the claim that the U.S. and Britain actually increase the likelihood of terrorist attacks because of their foreign policy that protects governments with close ties to terrorist organizations."
A few months ago I had asked for suggestions for this site. A couple that stuck out at the time were adding prominent links to articles which might be good for newcomers to those that question 9/11, and another being ways for people to take action who believe in the cause.
I've been giving some thought as to the best ways that this site can promote activism beyond just listing a calendar of events, occasionally running blogads for important events, and suggesting users email authors of the articles posted here. I think a lot of people who believe in the fight for 9/11 truth spend a lot of time reading articles, watching videos, etc., and while being aware of 9/11 related news is important, what is most important is taking action to bring 9/11 truth to light.
Representative Cynthia McKinney organized a day-long briefing on July 22 to address the 9/11 Commission's Final Report one year later. The event included leading victims' family members, former government and intelligence workers, academics and authors speaking on the flaws and weaknesses of the 9/11 Commission's investigation, assumptions, omissions, conclusions and recommendations. It was filmed in entirety by C-SPAN.
A lot of articles related to the Army Intelligence group 'Able Danger' tracking Atta and others prior to 9/11 were posted while I was out of town. There were so many articles posted that I really can't do much to summarize them, so please check them out and feel free to comment on anything you find in them worth mentioning.

One interesting question remains unanswered: what role did terrorist financing play in the build-up to the attacks of September 11 2001? There are two pieces of evidence on this point. First, during the days immediately prior to 9/11 the volume of put options, investments that pay off only when a stock declines in price, surged in the parent companies of American Airlines and United Airlines. According to a footnote in the 9/11 commission report, this unusual trading had no connection to terrorism.
