Maybe now the firefighters will speak up. Thanks to Jon at www.yourbbsucks.com for this.
MONTCLAIR, N.J. -- The dust and debris that billowed into the air when the World Trade Center towers collapsed after the 9/11 terror attacks has had long-reaching detrimental health effects, most notably on firefighters, experts said.
More propaganda I suppose:
Washington : Former CIA official Michael Scheuer, who headed the “bin Laden unit†in the intelligence agency, has said that though the Saudi-born fugitive was keeping a low profile, he was still powerful, and would remain in hiding until he staged another lethal attack on the US like 9/11.
“As soon as he hits us in the US again, we’ll see how important he is in the Islamic world. We mistake quiet for defeat or irrelevance.......and all quiet is disquiet,†The News quoted Scheuer, who retired in one year ago, as saying.
At a meeting on Sept. 28, members of EPA's Science Advisory Board told EPA Deputy Administrator Marcus Peacock and Chief Science Advisor Dr. William Farland that the agency's response to Hurricane Katrina indicates that the recommendations made by the agency's inspector general (IG) following 9/11 have not been implemented, despite EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson's contention that the agency has learned its lessons.
SAB members said EPA has not developed methods to evaluate acute exposure hazards following a chemical or biological emergency, despite recommendations following 9/11 that the agency improve its ability to assess such risks.
For two days in a row, The Times Argus has published some fascinating information.
1) Last Saturday the letter by Robert Riversong was riveting. Finally, your readers get to discover, through this letter, that it is the United States and the Brits who are deliberately prolonging the war. The war on Iraq has been a great success for those who began it, because their goal has been accomplished: to get the perpetual contracts to rebuild the devastation they wrought.
White House Press Secretary discusses the upcoming speach by President Bush about the "nature of the enemy, a sophisticated and determined enemy, they are killers that have a hateful and murderous ideology that is based on evil beliefs and goals. They have a clear strategy that seeks to exploit religion to serve their violent and repressive vision."
Sounds like an autobiography...
Notice below that they don't want to single out individuals for disciplinary action because it might send the wrong message to the junior officers. I guess teaching the junior officers about accountability is the wrong message.

This is an interesting article in the fact that it more or less supports the official theory, but then recommends David Ray Griffen's books and seminars without telling the reader that David Ray Griffen essentially blows the official theory out of the water. Some unsuspecting readers of this article may pick up a book by DRG and be in for quite a surprise.
It's amazing to think — nearly four years after 9/11 and one year after the National 9/11 Commission Report — that not a single American official has been held accountable for the tremendous intelligence failures that might have prevented the attacks.

The one individual who stands tall among those intelligence and law enforcement officers who was aggressively pursuing the criminal network that would carry out 911 was FBI counter-terrorism top man John O’Neill. Ever since the first World Trade Center bombing in 1993, O’Neill’s pursuit of Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda had been dogged. After further terrorist attacks at the Khobar Towers barracks in Dharan, Saudi Arabia; the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania; and the USS Cole in Aden harbor, O’Neill’s biggest problem was not Al Qaeda, it was resistance from top officials inside the U.S. government.

Here's an interesting article by Jimmy Walter of reopen911.org fame. For those of you who don't know, Jimmy Walter is responsible for distributing millions of free DVDs as well as for airing 30 second commercials in New York questioning 9/11.
Religious fanatics control the Whitehouse, Secretariat of State, House of Representatives, Senate, key military positions, Justice Department, and “god knows†how many other key positions in our government. Our Secretary of State's response to the disaster in our south was:
Take a look at the letters to the editor at the end of this article, spectacular!!!
Skepticism of the official account of 9/11 reached a high level of exposure on Friday, Sept. 30th. New York Newsday ran an article by Carol Eisenbrenner describing an interview with a Muslim chaplain that had just been hired by the FDNY. See the following excerpts with commentary.
"In a telephone interview Thursday, Habib, 30, a native of Guyana who studied Islam in Saudi Arabia, said he questioned whether 19 hijackers were responsible for the Sept. 11 terror attacks, and suggested a broader conspiracy may have brought down the Twin Towers and killed more than 2,700 people.
But Newspapers Handle the AP Photo Quite Differently
NEW YORK On its front page Tuesday, The New York Times published a photo of new U.S. Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers going over a briefing paper with President George W. Bush at his Crawford ranch “in August 2001,†the caption reads.
A little controversy here, what does everyone think? There is a call to action at the bottom of this article at 911truth.org for those who are interested:
Our previous story on the Intikab Habib case was premature.
We reported early Saturday morning that New York Newsday published an article about people who reject the US government's account of the September 11 events.
For all the New Yorkers out there, can't miss this one. More info will be forthcoming. http://www.mujca.com/currentevents.htmDavid Griffin will be speaking on "9/11 and the Destruction of the WTC: The Awful Truth" at the Anthology Film Forum, 23 2nd Avenue, NYC, 1-3 PM, Saturday, October 15. He will discuss the recently-released archives of the recorded responses of police, firefighters, and other New York citizens on 9/11/01, and how the information in those archives adds further confirmation to the already overwhelming evidence that
Good old Newday, keeping this story alive. Freedom of speech is mentioned in this article, about time.
Some local Muslims say chaplain had right to share 9/11 opinion, but should have been careful not to offend
Though Imam Intikab Habib expressed anguish and regret for comments he made about 9/11 that resulted in his stepping down Friday before being sworn in as chaplain of the Fire Department, some members of the local Muslim community reacted with slightly less dismal emotions.
Nice to see Rudy gets this treatment where ever he goes in this world. Never forget that he is largely responsible for the illegal destruction of WTC evidence.
Seems that the whole world is discussing the possibility of 9/11 being a Government Black Ops exercise. Except the United States of course, where bringing up such topics results in being forced to resign. Now its Egypt:
Host: "The U.S. naively asks: 'Why do they hate us in the Middle East?'"
Muhammad Khalaf: "There is nothing naive about it. This is the kind of thing they say as a pretext. The truth is that they understand, we understand, the American people understands, and the whole world understands that there is a comprehensive plan, and that 9/11 is just one of many small details of this plan, which is no longer concealed from anybody. "
For those of us eternally arguing with those who insist the war in Iraq is a war against terrorism, consider sharing this list with them. Then ask them where their Bush's war on terrorism really is.
Here's a post I lifted from this site:
Lets all take this advice and thank Newsday for having the courage to give this story a fair shake.
Thanks to those of you who have written to the editor at Newsday. For those who haven't, it's incredibly important to do so now because Monday there will be letters from clueless people who act like good little neocons, wholely ignorant of how much against their interest their beliefs are. Please write to firstname.lastname@example.org. Put your name, address and phone number as well, since they may call to verify you're a real person.
Last night Mike Malloy devoted a good bit of time on Air America discussing various 9/11 related topics from Bush's (and the secret service's) inaction on 9/11 to demolition.
You can download the show here
Special thanks to Mike Malloy for tackling the subject, The White Rose Society for archiving the show, and Jon Gold and Jackie for the heads up!
More scare tactics to prevent future protests? I guess keeping the terror alerts artificially high isn't cutting it anymore. Not really 9/11 related, but since 9/11 has been the catalyst for the Iraq war and everything else the Bush Administration has been doing it is still relevant in a round-a-bout way.
WASHINGTON Officials are revealing that air sensors on the National Mall detected a possible disease agent last weekend during the Iraq war demonstrations.
Looks like Newsday is willing to keep this topic alive, hopefully it will continue to snowball. Thanks to Jon Gold at www.yourbbsucks.com for this update:
Imam Intikab Habib is not alone in his beliefs about the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
Jimmy Walter, a Santa Barbara, Calif., millionaire, paid $3 million to run television ads in New York and Los Angeles earlier this year that suggested the government conspired to blow up the World Trade Center.
It seems everyone around this world is discussing the conspiracy these days. I wonder if Talebzadeh will have to resign.
Talebzadeh: "Somebody needs to explain: A building called Building No. 7 had almost 60 stories, and it did not catch fire..."
Host: "How did it collapse?"
Talebzadeh: "Yes, this was a building made entirely of steel. In the 100 years since they started to construct steel buildings, there has been no precedent for a steel building catching fire and collapsing. How come, six hours after the second tower collapsed, this building collapsed within six seconds, without having caught fire? It collapsed in a controlled manner."
Host: "The firefighters who were interviewed – it was broadcast on French TV – said they clearly heard a few explosions."
Talebzadeh: "In fact, this was a controlled demolition. These are important questions. Why did the U.S. president announce that same day that he wants the blame to somehow be placed on Iraq? What does this mean? Afghanistan had not yet been occupied. How come, two days later, plans were raised to attack Afghanistan and Iraq? In such an event you are not even supposed to know who you are. You're supposed to be in total shock. These are big questions. They are even greater than in the Kennedy assassination. Inquiries are now being made into this matter. There were very unclear matters in this affair, which were never resolved.
"The dimensions of destruction on September 11 are apocalyptic. During the week of 9/11, Lance Morrow published an article in Time magazine. He said: 'In fact, the temple of the West has collapsed. The cathedral of the West has collapsed.' Who brought down this cathedral? Surely two or three people, who could not even fly a crop duster, could not have led a 747 plane into the Pentagon at a low altitude."
To understand Bill Kristol, you have to examine his modus operandi – his devious ways of plying a nefarious art. Bill Kristol is a master neocon, a heartless warmonger and an accomplished charlatan. But Bill Kristol works behind the curtain. He sets the stage and pulls the strings, while others do his dirty work. And Bill Kristol, with little fanfare or publicity, is one of the most influential architects of George W. Bush’s wars. To know the man, you have to look behind his overt persona. Bill Kristol makes no secret of his views or his philosophy. He has never hidden his affiliation with of the Project for a New American Century PNAC), of which he is a founder. And yet, when introduced to the public, he is never, ever connected to that organization. He is always presented as the editor of the Weekly Standard, as benign an introduction as can be.
