"Secret" Air Base for Iraq War started prior 9-11
This story has been floating around for a few days. Basically it shows that prior to 9/11 bases needed for the war in Iraq were getting funded and created. This is just another example of long term planning of things which wouldn't have been possible without 9/11.

Karl Rove Uses 9/11 As a Political Tool
Apparently Karl Rove only appreciates the republicans that died on 9/11. His comments are incredibly out of line and disrespectful.
Rove Criticizes Liberals on 9/11
"Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers," Mr. Rove, the senior political adviser to President Bush, said at a fund-raiser in Midtown for the Conservative Party of New York State.
Citing calls by progressive groups to respond carefully to the attacks, Mr. Rove said to the applause of several hundred audience members, "I don't know about you, but moderation and restraint is not what I felt when I watched the twin towers crumble to the ground, a side of the Pentagon destroyed, and almost 3,000 of our fellow citizens perish in flames and rubble."
New NIST Reports on WTC Released
New sets of documents were released today by the NIST on the collapses of WTC 1 and 2. Their last reports were released in April and were considered drafts, however these new reports are marked as drafts as well.
The NIST is now looking for people to submit comments on their report, and I can only assume that researchers such as Jim Hoffman, Jeff King, and others will take this opportunity to point out their disagreements.

There are now 21 of us, in the US and Canada, who are committed to looking more closely and critically at the events of 9/11 and the official account of those events. We need to triple or quadruple our numbers. I am open to suggestions as to how we can do this. Are there other sites that we can post to? Do you have colleagues at other universities who are open to this project? All ideas are welcome. I would especially welcome contacts at colleges, seminaries, and universities in Texas and at historically black colleges and universities. A New York Post article, '9/11 Ad by Loon Tycoon Sees gov't plot,' was an attempt to whitewash giant ads taken out in major newspapers by millionaire Jimmy Walters questioning the official story of 9/11. One of those ads highlighted the Building 7 issue and asked Silverstein about the comments he made in the PBS documentary..
