Satirist joins panel at book festival

Q: You also write about subjects including Charles Manson, Timothy McVeigh and the War on Terror. Which of those subjects do you think is the scariest?

A:It's a tie between Manson and McVeigh. One was a Frankenstein monster created by the prison system, and the other was a Frankenstein monster created by the U.S. Army. The War on Terror is a euphemism for imperialism in the Middle East planned before 9/11, in fact before the 2000 presidential election.
