Study: Dust from 9/11 collapse causing long-term health problems for NYC firefighters

MONTCLAIR, N.J. -- The dust and debris that billowed into the air when the World Trade Center towers collapsed after the 9/11 terror attacks has had long-reaching detrimental health effects, most notably on firefighters, experts said.
At a conference Thursday at Montclair State University, health experts discussed the effects of air quality after 9/11, specifically on firefighters working in the area and children born to pregnant women living nearby.
Firefighters have had serious, long-term respiratory problems from the particles of pulverized concrete or glass they inhaled, according to Dr. David Prezant, who has been leading a program to study the health effects of 9/11 on New York City firefighters.

According to Prezant, the department would average less than 30 people per year out on respiratory disability before 9/11. After Sept. 11, at least 450 people have met the classification.Prezant said it's too early to tell whether the bad air quality and respiratory problems might lead to increased instances of malignancies or growths.
Another researcher, Dr. Sally Ann Lederman from Columbia University, studied pregnant women living within two miles of the World Trade Center in the four weeks immediately following the 9/11 attacks.
There were about 300 women in the group, many in their first or second trimester. Lederman found that the babies tended to be lighter and shorter than other babies.
While Lederman said lower birth weight can sometimes translate into health problems, it's impossible to know whether those post-9/11 children would be more likely to have lower IQ's or development problems _ questions she often receives from mothers who gave birth after the terrorist attacks.
"They look like perfectly normal children," said Lederman about the babies in the study.

i'm pretty sure all the jet fuel burned up either before the buildings came down or during all of those "weird" unexplained explosions that many firefighters said they heard in their interviews.
you know the ones they can't talk about because they have been gagged by the fed's.

Thanks... I emailed Wayne to see what his sources were... People have to understand that the media doesn't work for us anymore, but unfortunately, A LOT of people rely on them. It's a helluva lot easier to convince someone of what you're saying with "real" sources than it is with 9/11 sites, and blogs, etc...

so it appears there was no "official gag order" at least one that i can find, but FBI and gov't intimidation can be effective as gag orders for sure.

I remain skeptical regarding
I remain skeptical regarding "jet fuel". Especially since 200% of it went up in the initial fireball. And just because civilian witnesses talked about "the jet fuel" doesn't mean that they hadn't put 2 + 2 together on their own, and decided that some smelly liquid "must've been" "jet fuel". (But it does remind me of the way all those civilian witnesses to whatever hit the Pentagon suddenly became experts at knowing, from underneath, at a glance, a 757 from a 767 from a 737 from a 727 from a 707 from a DC-8 to some model of Airbus.)
Though I prefer to concentrate on what's wrong with the govt's theory rather than on what ours might be, the two pursuits do overlap, and I do not believe that conventional demolition can account for what I (wrongly?) think of as "nanoparticles" (I mean around a micron, or less). The size of the particles (superfine dust) is unnaturally small.
This unnaturally small effluent is, IMHO, evidence of non-conventional forces (ie, not explained by "explosives" -- more higher explosives would largely just send chunks flying farther, not reduce more matter to an almost-impossibly-fine powdery dust). (BTW, if anyone has any WTC dust samples, get them to a trusted scaninng electron microscope and post the resulting images...)
"Coincidentally", there is a form of energy which can account not only for the unnaturally small particle sizes and also the molten metal found at the bottom some time after the event. A plasma, hotter than the sun, will thermally excite matter to the point where molecular, but not atomic, bonds will be broken. In that sense, it can be thought of as "halfway to nuclear" (unless the plasma was induced by a nuclear event, that is).
Regardless, my limited understanding of the situation is that, whether or not one believes in evolution or "intelligent design" :( no one expects mammals' lungs' cleansing mechanisms to be able to handle such "nanoparticles" -- they're just too small to occur normally.
Maybe it was the particle size, more than asbestos, that that post-9/11 lower Manhattan WH-censored EPA air quality report was really intended to suppress...?

Can you kindly please provide the question to ask? Call me cynical, but somehow I don't think that an, "Are you under any gag orders?" is going to cut it. (Perhaps if I had a voice stress analyzer hooked to my phone...)
The fact that an FDNY representative could talk like this to the media on 9/11 itself but not at all since then is strong circumstantial evidence that the gag order remains largely in effect.

Act like a reporter, or...
