Folks, I believe it is now (past) time to put together a group of Veterans for 9/11 Truth. I know one or two web designers who would be more than a tad interested in bringing this effort to the attention of the American public.
But there's just one uh, little problem. In order to start this effort, we need to ask first for just ONE Veteran to stand up and announce that such a group has been formed. Once this effort has begun, others will certainly follow.
Might you be that ONE?
I would do it, but unfortunately? I am not a vet.
Granted. It almost seems unfair to ask any war veteran to do this. After all, our soldiers have already put their lives on the line once (or in some cases, multiple times, in multiple wars, in multiple tours of duty).
And c'mon, let's face it. If you are the ONE who starts the Veterans for 9/11 Truth group? You are not *exactly* going to receive a mess of Purple Hearts for saving the lives of future Americans in future US False Flag Ops Terror Attacks.
Cowards need not apply for this assignment. You're going to have to be one really brave dude or dudette to start Veterans for 9/11 Truth. But chances are, if you signed up for duty (or got drafted) you are already one awesome, courageous patriot.
And what, after all (if you really think about it) could be any more patriotic than bringing the truth to the table with regard to how we got into these bloody wars in the first place?

I mean, come on. Certainly with George Nelson Colonel, USAF (ret.) and Dr. Robert Bowman, USAF Lt. Col (ret.) on board already in not only dis-believing the "official 9/11 story" but also talking out in public? I can not imagine what would be the need for any more credible witnesses than a Colonel and Lieutenant Colonel to come forth...We've already got more than enough evidence and credible sources right now to try a good number of federal employees for high crimes, misdemeanors, and yes - treason. So what's the real deal here about the refusal of the ex-soldier groups to demand that their ex-employer to do a proper criminal investigation into 9/11?
Maybe you know someone who's served in the armed forces who has their own questions about 9/11? Maybe you'd be willing to ask them if they would become part of a national effort to investigate this entire business of this so-called "War On Terror" that began on 9/11? Maybe you can ask vets you know if they'd be willing to stand up and join with other former brothers and sisters in arms?
Maybe together they will stand up and ask their former federal employer to explain to them precisely *why* 9/11 (a criminal mass murder of nearly 3,000 that was never properly investigated) was used as the official reason to invade Afghanistan and Iraq, effectively killing unknown thousands of our own soldiers (not to mention killing, wounding, and sickening millions of innocent Middle Eastern civilians).
All it takes is just ONE Veteran to start this effort. Maybe you will be the ONE - or know someone you can ask to be that ONE? The formation of Veterans for 9/11 Truth is only ONE awesome ex-soldier away.

Heros are not perfect. It means we respect for them taking risks to get out the truth. Don't denigrate the risks they have actually taken, by saying they didn't go far eneogh, because I agree, no one in congress has gone far eneogh.
But McKinny was the first to publicaly question 911 and was vilified for it. She lost her seat and then regained it, where she now continues to fight. If she came out with everything you want, would she be there today? I doubt it.
Scholars for 911 Truth are also my hero's, but they can go much further,( i.e with less risk) in acadamia than a sitting congress woman can. Diverse and unconventional viewpoints are broadly accepted in academia ( except when it comes to the Isreali lobby....but I won't go into that here)
but in politics it is usually shunned and can be the kiss of death for reelection.

I watched the Bill Maher discussion. There were several tidbits that were distorted. Bill Maher said the President had no idea what was going on before Andrew Card whispered in his ear "America is under attack (when he probably said, "Everything is going according to plan").
As we all know, the President was aware of the first plane striking the WTC at the time he left his Hotel to go to the Elementary school. We know he received a phone call from Condoleezza Rice when he arrived at the school. We know when he came out of his conversation with Condi that he told the Principal of the school that a commercial airliner struck the WTC, and we're going to go ahead as scheduled.
Keep in mind, the first sign of trouble was at 8:14am I believe. Bush arrived at Booker Elementary at about 9am. You mean to tell me that after 45 minutes after the first sign of the trouble, the NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR had NO IDEA at that point that "hijackings" were taking place?
I would be VERY interested to know EXACTLY what was said between Condi and Bush.

Regarding Loose Change, like many have already said, it would be advisable if it wasn't promoted so much. The speculation percentage is way too high and then there are the factual errors in the Pentagon segment. (Including the infamous "the entry hole was 16 feet wide" bullshit.)
Oh, another thing: I'm not convinced of the utility of linking to al-Jazeera. They may be a useful source of information, at times, but they have near-zero credibility among most of those who need to be enlightened about 9-11. If she's so balsy and so courageous, it's been 4.5 years now since 9-11, when is she going to go on the floor of the house when she has her opportunity before the microphone and start talking about what really happened on 9-11? how about controlled demolition?
Last September 24th at the big antiwar rally in Washington DC, there were 250 to 300.000 people. When Cynthia McKinney was giving her speech, not one peep about controlled demolition, not one word. She mentioned the words 9-11 one time, that was just in passing. Now here was the primo opportunity of all time to get the truth out about 9-11, she just mentions 9-11 once blah blah blah nothing more.
Cynthia McKinney is covering her butt.
And now she's throwing out the race card when she's got so many more important vital issues that need to be addressed and if you want to consider her a hero maybe you better start taking another look at what she's actually saying, what she's actually done, what she's not talking about, what she's not doing. You better redifine the word hero if she is one of your heros. A hero isn't someone who keeps you chasing your tail. She's had ample opportunities to speak about 9-11 truth and just because she aligns herself with an on the periphery..Well honestly, we need a little more than that.

Veterans for 911 Truth is a good idea but its going to have to grow from within the veterans movement itself. Ray McGovern has been slowly moving his group of former intelligence members to this point. Any veteran's movement would have to start with a very prominant and respected military veteran taking the lead, so others could join and duck behind his reputation to demonstrate that they are not crazy or undermining the troops in the field. Col. Robert Bowman would be appropriate for this position, but as you can sense in his interview it would have to be a very delicate affair.

OK, I accept the "spreading the truth" requirement, sure. But isn't it equally important to ensure that what is being passed on as truth actually IS the truth?
Indeed, since we have all but finished the "evidence collection" and analysis phase, isn't the role of concentrating on the essential and discarding the bogus becoming more important by the day?
The Truth Movement may not be able to achieve it's goals in the end game with excess baggage from all the confusing and/or bogus notions.

But after the 911commision report, you have to understand that people have a legitimate concern that if and when 911 is officially exposed
it would be politically easier to except LIHOP and ignore the
evidence for MIHOP. And that wouldn't be exposing the whole truth of 911.
Thus I do not support 'their attitude' , but I understand and support their position.
In the end, I personally think that the evidence and support behind MIHOP is so extensive that they couldn't completly ignore it if they wanted to. So the whole argument is possibly unnecassary.
But who knows, they did blantly ignore the questions of the victims family and then publish their conclusions as if the questions didn't exist.

Jon, your package of 911 information to Weldon gave me an idea.
Why not create 911 Truth packages ( or 911 Questions packages, I like that better) that can be sent to congressman, senators and the media to give them a basic introduction to the valid evidence upon which we base questions about 911.
It could include a list of proffessionals that support our questions, a copy of lectures and articles and a couple of dvds.
Books might be too much, ("thank you but I didn't have time to read it with my busy schedule")
The point would be not to cover every aspect of 911, but eneogh information to get their interest to look further and to combat a politician or media person's excuse that " they had't heard of it or didn't have any of the facts."
When we confront them at town meetings or other public functions we can mention the package that they received. Nothing flashy, just some bare bone facts and persuasive arguments. Know our audience!!!!!
Maybe we could have something on the site that would allow people to purchase the package online, and we would send it to a politician or media outlet in their name (especially if a local politician) or anonymously.
For a single donation, they could recieve one for themselves and one sent to who ever they choose.
The cost would be simply the cost of the materials and postage. No profit directed elsewhere. I think we could get the price pretty low, especially if we had donations of the relevent materials.

I was thinking about how about somebody sending a 4 ft x 4 ft sq box Nicely designed with 9/11 information inside of it. The box alone would catch anybody's attention. and then on the inside i would include a smaller box about 8 inches x 5 inches sq and lined with velvet that includes a dvd (9/11 revisted, edited versions of loose change, edited versions of the greatest conspiray, and another one that talks about WTC7 all on one dvd) and also include a book (that i will produce) that will have over 500 rebuttals to each and every question they could ask.
example. If they ask:
Q: well what about the plane slaming into the building at 500 mph that had to have an effect
A: No, here is a WTC manager talking about a plane impact 8 months before the strike (see chapter x, at time x:xx for video,) or
Q: well what about the weight of the floors above, wouldnt they have weakened and caused the progressive collapse
A: No, this how buildings are designed, (show scientfic analysis but explain it to them in both laymans and expert terms) and if that is true how come these buildings (Caracas, Madrid, Philly, LA, etc) all burned longer, and hotter, and the building did not collapse. Also if they were going to collapse, the parts of the building that were not on fire (show creative picture) would of provided resistance and slowed the collapse, and if some how they were going to progressively "pancake" all the way down it would of took a lot longer than 15 secs. (show more proof)
I would love to do this, but this would take a lot of money and time. and it would be over 2000 pages because of all the research behind it, and trying to rebut EVERY POSSIBLE question. and this book would include the actual newspaper clippings and pieces so they could view the information for themselves
but maybe one of you guys could do it, and i could be of some assitance. but i do think thats what we need. a creative, flashy, professionally marketed and designed, glossy, full color book, as well as a flashy website (similiar to a new movie website) that would both be entertaining and informational for newbies and some experts

I didn't see your previous post but I love your idea. I don't think we have the time or resources to create something that exstensive, thats why I'm thinking we should keep it simple and cost effective. The 2000 page answers to questions could be a longer goal/project, but I really like your packaging idea, it could make it harder to ignore and become a story in itself if it was distributed to eneogh 'important' people.
Lets keep working on this and thinking it through.
