There's a campaign to educate people who fly the American Flag on the truth of 9/11 and convince them to invert the flag, to fly it upside down. Veterans for 9/11 truth has an upside down flag on their site http://www.v911t.org along with the legal documentation of what that symbol means: a situation of dire distress. It is not disrespectful to the flag, the country or the armed services and is an appropriate signal for our current reality. I have received favorable, encouraging responses from a university and some firemen, though they haven't taken the action, yet. Like a lot of things, it will probably be slow to start and folks will feel more comfortable taking action once they know that others have gone before them, so I'm suggesting that photos be taken of the upside down flags to be posted on the web (haven't found a place for that yet). Institutions and individuals who take this significant symbolic step should expect outrage, misunderstanding, and questions, to which they should respond calmly and courteously with 9/11 truth and an explaination of the symbol. I think that this tactic has tremendous potential to accelerate the truth movement in a big way. I am suggesting that the flags remain in that orientation until three conditions are met: 1) The firing squads run out of targets 2) We have honest elections that are verified by multiple international parties 3) We have substantial media reform (The 9/11 coverup could not have been so successful without media complicity. Regarding the Congressional responses to the Raw story's questions on 9/11 and the commission, I was reinforced in my dismay over our government. Comments like "move forward", "balanced" and "there were parts both sides weren't satisified with" make me sick. It's integral that we got that one right, and as far as recommondations, the commission was thin, and the only true reccomendations not taken up were more money for first responder communication systems and port security. What these Congressional members fail to realize or skated from was that the 9/11 commission was not charged with finding the truth about the event, or brining anybody in to account for it. It was simply put in place to whitewash and make minor reccomendations in an attempt to placate the victim's families and cover for corrupt and useless beuaracracies like the CIA. They didn't fire anybody or blame anybody, they just suggested another layer of complication. Discussion of the events of 9/11 was just a backdrop for the commission. That commission was modeled just like the computer models used by the NIST and FEMA to explain the collapse of the WTC. That commision relied upon testimony of officials not sworn in in some cases, as well as the investigative efforts of the FBI, NSA, etc. No bribe taking member of Congress will truly get into the details of the folly that commission represents. To do so is to interrupt their trade practices of greed, corruption and manipulation. I bet you anything we in the 9/11 truth movement know more about that Commission and report than people in Congress do. Their topical and glibb dismisial of such a complex event belies the fact that they are nothing more than attention seekering head nodders in the great scheme of things. I wish them all luck in keeping their head in the sand.

Regarding the Congressional
Regarding the Congressional responses to the Raw story's questions on 9/11 and the commission, I was reinforced in my dismay over our government. Comments like "move forward", "balanced" and "there were parts both sides weren't satisified with" make me sick. It's integral that we got that one right, and as far as recommondations, the commission was thin, and the only true reccomendations not taken up were more money for first responder communication systems and port security. What these Congressional members fail to realize or skated from was that the 9/11 commission was not charged with finding the truth about the event, or brining anybody in to account for it. It was simply put in place to whitewash and make minor reccomendations in an attempt to placate the victim's families and cover for corrupt and useless beuaracracies like the CIA. They didn't fire anybody or blame anybody, they just suggested another layer of complication. Discussion of the events of 9/11 was just a backdrop for the commission. That commission was modeled just like the computer models used by the NIST and FEMA to explain the collapse of the WTC. That commision relied upon testimony of officials not sworn in in some cases, as well as the investigative efforts of the FBI, NSA, etc. No bribe taking member of Congress will truly get into the details of the folly that commission represents. To do so is to interrupt their trade practices of greed, corruption and manipulation. I bet you anything we in the 9/11 truth movement know more about that Commission and report than people in Congress do. Their topical and glibb dismisial of such a complex event belies the fact that they are nothing more than attention seekering head nodders in the great scheme of things. I wish them all luck in keeping their head in the sand.

Just a note, that Smirking Chimp locked a thread on Loose Change recently that was heating up. Many people took their time to type out quotes from books on the subject, and provide information to disseminate on this site.
Suddenly, the owner of the blog "smirky chimp" as his i.d. goes, decided on a whim that he had had enough of the thread and locked it.
I find owner of Smirking Chimp to be offensive to First Amendment Rights. He continually requests donations for his blog that is really a series of links to articles, comments and forum. His site has no focus and dwells on things without offering any solutions, such that this blog offers.
At one time, there was a paid banner ad on Smirking Chimp for 9/11 Truth movement, that no longer exists. Jeff Taidich accepted money for the ad, yet won't allow any discussion of 9/11 on his site. He's one sick, fascist dude to prevent people from discussing the issue he advertizied on his site!
