Has there ever been a conference or position papers describing what the community should do differently when designing large tall buildings in the future?

Is any of this being discussed in engineering classrooms across the country.

If the engineering community is so conviced that WTC 7 fell due to fires, what would they do differently in the future?

We took classes with these jerks. Let me repeat what my brilliant physics profs told me about these guys. They are are at best the handmaidens of physicists. If you obtained a physics degree you will recall these guys. Sleeping in class, eating lunch and chatting. When the final marks were posted they were stunned to see physics majors obtaining grades in the upper nineties while they strove to get marks in the fifties. They didn't give a shit about understanding physical reality. Do we have to explain the necessity of using calculus to solve second year physics problems again? I don't recall any of these losers being able to achieve that simple task. I'll say in again: if any of you engineers can publish a paper in a peer reviewed academic journal detailing how the towers could be brought down by two jet liners you will win a Nobel Prize in Physics. Go for it losers.

And, yes, architects of large buildings and structural engineers are doing nothing but what they would do to change the building designs.

^No "S.King" the point is steel beams were "partly evaporated" according to investigators. Which requires a temperature of 2860oC, how's you're criminal whitewash report going to explain that? When hydrocarbon diffuse fires like the ones in WTC7 burn no higher then 800oC in perfect conditions, and WTC7 was not providing perfect conditions. Leaving the fires probably no hotter then a 250oC domestic oven in random areas only?

I only found this site about a month ago after Showbiz Tonight covered the Charlie Sheen comments. I had questions about 9/11 and I'd seen Dr. Jones on Tucker Carlson's show, but I had no idea there were so many resources on the net questioning 9/11.

At the same time, the Moussaoui trial is in the news and I got curious about how he got apprehended in the first place. I.e., was he in place to be arrested and have on hand as a patsy to say, "Look, it must be Arab terrorists because we've got this guy who wanted to do the same thing."

Cooperativeresearch.org has a Moussaoui page and theres this little bit that I'd never read before:

"After just one day of training most of the staff is suspicious that he is a terrorist, especially after they discuss with him “how much fuel [is] on board a 747-400 and how much damage that could cause if it hit[s] anything.” Staff members call the FBI with their concerns later that day."

The first day! The first day and he's telling the instructors at this flight school that he's interested in hitting something with a 747! Its not like the term "Arab terrorist" was unknown in 2001 pre-9/11 to these instructors or anyone in America. How convenient that he had visa violations so he could be held. But if you look at Moussaoui's wanderings around the globe, and all the government agencies around the globe that flagged him, how did he get a visa in the first place? And what kind of visa was it?

There are so many questions about 9/11. Its been glossed over and why should we be surprised that engineers of any sort take the path of least resistance and go along with the official version, just like 98% of our media and 99% of our politicians of both parties.

Actually the testimony on how damaged building 7 is highly controversial, but it doesn't really matter anyway and is a moot point because WTC 7 had no business falling straight down at that speed into it's own footprint.

Furthermore even FEMA said it the fires theory had a low probability of collapse. If WTC 7 was so easy to explain in the context of the official story then no doubt the 9/11 Commission would have covered it.

Hey guys, did a little experiment the other day. We had a big bonfire going in my back yard. Thing was huge, at least 10 feet tall and 10 feet in diameter. Well shortly after lighting the fire I threw a short piece of metal in. Now I don't know what kind of metal it was, but it looked like it was used for supporting chicken wire, couple of feet long and not thick at all. Well I buried this thing in the coals, and the fire burned all day and all night long. Guess what, it's still strong as every. I even took a hammer to it to see if it got weak or brittle.
