It is disgusting to see that you have to correct the media each time on this issue.

For example, der spiegel (and the fbi website) claims that photos of the hijackers were not released until the 27th, but you can see various news storys (the famous one on bbc.co.uk...) did indeed contain the photos of the hijackers before some claim they were officially released.

I got into an argument about this on dkos (now banned from posting) a while ago. I've since learned to avoid arguing fringe issues.

Anyway the claim in Der Spiegel was that the BBC article is bunk because:

A. the photos weren't released until the 27th thus making it more of a "mistaken identity" issue that the "hijacker" claimed to be alive. [false]

B. It also claimed the that article is inaccurate because the author no longer stands by his claim (dubious).

But as you can see from the Archive, they had the picture on their site on the 24th, 3 days before it was supposedly "released". So I can't really take the Spiegel article at entirely face value.

Also, in this era of intimidation, I don't find it hard to believe that any critic of the administration would change their story in order to move on with their lives.

What happened to unansweredquestions.org? I remember Bush's Katherine Fitts and even Tom Flocco ran that site, according to this German 9/11 doc I saw.

I have a question: If the "theme" of 9/11 Truth was "showing that at the very least 9/11 was allowed to happen with perhaps some complicity, with a clear pattern of suspicious activity and a mountain of evidence showing foreknowlege, buddy buddy with 9/11 money men, etc" instead of "OMG! TOWER DEMOLITON...PLANE SWAP...MISSLE PENTAGON!" ...ie, if it was "there's many things theyre not telling us" than "missles and bombs" to the average joe, would 9/11 Truth be more accepted?

Because most people cant get past the WTC and Pentagon theory, and are blind to the 100% provable case. It kind of bugs me they put all that stuff as the main horse.

On that stanford link above, he says fire alone caused the collapse of Bldg. 7, doesn't he? He says that between 1994 and 1998, 30 fires occurred in the United States in buildings that were 50 stories or taller. But he doesn't have anything to say about how these buildings should be redesigned. Ergo, skyscrapers are just not safe. Maybe you're not safe in any building that you can't jump out of and land safely. Should any fire department ever send firefighters into a burning skyscraper after what happened on 9/11?

How many other buildings have been reexamined to see if they, too, possess the same design "vulnerabilities?" And if the government is not doing that, examining all the architectural plans out there to see if the WTC vulnerabilities are in other buildings, why not? I had to have permits and inspections to redo the plumbing on a bathroom and thats not going to catch fire and collapse into dust and kill thousands of people.

I'd like to know if they did anything to model the contents of the floors hit by the airplanes in order to say that what was in those floors, initially ignited by jet fuel that "burned off rapidly" was the fuel for fires that caused the collapses. They know who were the tenants of those floors and they know what kind of stuff was in there to burn.
