Review of a New Book Focused on Bush's 'Incompetence' on 9/11

Bullshit Artist: The 9/11 Leadership Myth - buzzflash.com
Subtitled "America was under attack for 102 minutes and for 102 minutes the president did nothing: How George W. Bush turned his pathetic performance on 9/11 into political gold," this book certainly caught our attention.
This 312-page compilation of the Bush crew's totally inept performance on 9/11 -- including their failure to take a single action to prevent it from occurring even when warned -- was fascinating even to the eyes of jaded 'ol BuzzFlash, who monitored the news reports of 9/11 as it happened.
Part of the attraction of "Bullshit Artist: The 9/11 Leadership Myth" is that its citizen-author, Ron Schalow of North Dakota, mixes fact with sardonic commentary and a playful layout. Can it be fun finding out how the Bush Administration is incompetent? Well yeah, in a sort of "all hail to the dunce" perverse sort of way.
You realize that the mainstream media is so busy playing its role as royal court transcribers that their reporting lacks the most basic of common sense. Schalow litters "Bullshit Artist" with the basic logic of the common person -- and Bush and his minions come off as something like a nefarious version of the Keystone Cops. However, after reading this book, you are left yearning for the Keystone Cops, who would have done a far better job protecting our nation and reacting to 9/11.
I am guessing this would actually be an interesting read, although I am not so sure that the research behind the book could be very thick. If anyone decides to read this and wants to write up a review it would be more than welcome.
In the mean time, it may be worth sending the author the coincidence theorists guide to 9/11.

the coincidence theorists
the coincidence theorists guide to 9/11 is so friggin amazing. its just too much info to ignore. i have found it to be extremely effective in showing people we havent been told the whole story of 9/11.i wish i could thank the guy that compiled all that. what a great idea.
Speaking of bullshit, 9/11
Speaking of bullshit, 9/11 was conceived long before Bush and Cheney were appointed by the Supremes.
Flight 93 and his Double
When beginning my research into the emergency landing of Delta Flight 1989 at Cleveland which resulted in The Cleveland Airport Mystery, I stumbled into a mess of conflicting reports making it impossible to obtain a clear picture of the fate of this airplane. I soon realized, however, that the numerous contradictions could be elegantly solved by postulating the existence of two different airplanes. Now, by a process comparable to the untangling of two twisted phone cords, it was possible to establish a consistent timeline for each of both planes.

Unfortunately, this is all
Unfortunately, this is all you'll see in the mainstream for a very long time - a watered-down LIHOP "theory."
And even if and when 9/11 is allowed to poke through, it will never point at the truly guilty - the Globalist puppet masters. It'll be that "rogue element of the U.S. government."
And the beat goes on.
If you're not depressed yet,
If you're not depressed yet, consider that even if we make a rock-solid case against this administration regarding 911, you might end up facing an opinion like this one, heard during the call-in portion of Webster Tarpley's interview of Andreas von Buelow:
"...is it possible that even if George W. Bush carried out this 911 World Trade Center incident, he--like Richard Nixon--thought he was doing something that even if illegal, like Watergate, that would in the long run help maximize freedom from fear, free markets, allow for smaller government and stronger individual responsibility and family morality, and other goals that Richard Nixon wrote about in his 1994 book Beyond Peace?"
Does anyone know if this
Does anyone know if this book attributes 9/11 all to incompetence? Is there any mention of LIHOP or MIHOP in it?

VIDEO: The Daily Show segment with Ray McGovern. Toward the end, Rumsfeld walks through his office for a FOX interview; there is an immaculate reception area with couch-and-chairs and coffee-table. Alone on the coffee-table sits a piece of crumpled metal about ten inches long, mounted on a fine piece of wood. "This is a piece of the airplane that crashed into this building. It's a wonderful reminder to, to people, who come in here; of what happened."

Very interesting news about
Very interesting news about actress in Oliver Stone's WTC movie:
Before Maggie Gyllenhaal took a role in "World Trade Center," she wanted to be okayed by the film's subjects.
In April 2005, Gyllenhaal said the United States "is responsible in some way" for the Sept. 11 attacks - a comment not far from the one that cost Bill Maher his television show. Following the accepted celebrity path of quickly retracting controversial statements, Maggie later said that she regretted the comment and issued a statement saying that Sept. 11 was "an occasion to be brave enough to ask some serious questions about America's role in the world."... http://www.philly.com/mld/dailynews/living/14534013.htm

Thanks, Frank, for posting
Thanks, Frank, for posting that "Comdedy Channel" piece... it has helped me preserve my temperament for another day.
My "shtick" for a long time has been the broad field of emergency management. As a former EMS systems planner, I was always interested in mass casualty incident management and the potential for using simulations as a way of getting people to understand a complex scenario. I worked as a consultant briefly for a producer of high-end distributed-to-desktop simulation gaming tools on the development of a "virtual tabletop exercise" that focused on the civilian management of the outbreak of "bird flu" in the poultry industry of Georgia; alas, DARPA pulled the plug before the project was ended. But I've been studying the human/health issues of "bird flu" for some time, and have also written a white paper on "coalescing effective community disaster response" through "virtual communities of practice" and the use of simulations. Alas, the 9/11 experience has confirmed my worst fears... that the field has been "hijacked" by people who have a different agenda.
Lately, the question of whether bird flu has been "weaponized" has been asked by several, and suggested by some. Russia accuses the US. Some in the US (notably physicist Jorge Hirsch) have speculated that the US government will accuse Iran as a reason to attack them. Recently, British intelligence "findings" indicate North Korea has done so. This can only allow for or suggest a question as to whether the US will use "bird flu" as a bioweapon, a weapon of terror, a "false flag" operation, or worse. I've assembled some "readings" and links related to this subject into three blogs (total around 25+ pages) found in reverse order at the link noted below.
Is this related to 9/11?
Yes, at least indirectly, peripherally, and given the fact that it involves many of the familiar names, faces, companies, etc.
Yes, given the anthrax attacks post 9/11...

even if this book doesn't go
even if this book doesn't go very far in exposing 9/11's can of worms, it is just the kind of thing the movement needs: a strong incompetence/LIHOP base. that's enough for many "mainstream" folk to swallow; and the more they do, the more the worms will keep crawling into the sun.

Do you guys expect alot of 911 related merchandise at the chicago event? I want 911 revisited and Improbable Collapse and would rather buy them in person than wait on mailorder. Are you guys wearing jeans and t-shirts to this thing.? I want to relax all weekend.

Yes, that's exactly the theme that got me started.... That, and the discussion that genetic targeting with biowarfare wasn't possible, or that no nation had ever tested "delivery" systems on its own people. Well, guess which nation falls into that category? And under the direction of whom, and through which agency?
Gee, maybe we should ask Frank Olson, "Dr. Flu", and others...
Oops, they're dead under mysterious circumstances?
Well, they just got dizzy and lost their footing while standing next to the four-foot high barrier on the bridge ...
and they just fell "overboard".
And those buildings just got tired and fell down...
Check out a book by Mark
Check out a book by Mark Taylor entitled "Religion, Politics, and the Christian Right: Post-9/11 Powers and American Empire." I heard him interviewed on WRPI, 91.5 FM, Troy, New York. He points out that there is a triumvirate of "neocons" (neoconservatives), "theocons" (radical right christians) and "ceocons" (corporate interests) who have taken over the country and are pushing it toward fascism. Although he supports the effort to impeach Bush and company, he feels that unless this "unholy alliance" is broken up, this trend will continue. You can find a press release about this book from the Princeton Theological Seminary, where Taylor teaches, at www.ptsem.edu/news/pr-bin/2005/taylor.php.
