The media blackout had at least one precedent - the OJ Simpson case:
After initially blaming OJ for everything, causing his financial and social ruin, just about a year after it was over evidence surfaced that powerfully incriminated an LA police officer, Mark Fuhrman, as the murderer. Web sites (like www.smartfellowspress.com) and books (like "Solving the Simpson murder mystery") launched and exposed the scandal.

But the media wouldn't let a single bit of it get into it into their politically correct "script", to this very day. So just about everyone still thinks he did it, and Mark Fuhrman is remembered as "just a racist cop".

No one in the media dares to blow these scandals wide open, and why? I guess the best explanation is they're wanting to "lull" all of their audience into a sense of "security", don't want to destroy their believe in the "good", want to make everybody believe that _governments_ or _police_ would *never ever* commit a crime, no no no....

Indeed he is. He's still a prominent backbench MP and has become more and more criticical of Blair and his policies, as have a large number of Labour Party members. There's little chance of him winning any leadership contest, if and when one arrives, but it will increase his chances of getting a position in a newly formed cabinet.
Apparently he is planning to have a screening of Loose Change in Westminter next month.

Yeah, living in The UK, but not for much longer.
To be honest, people are just starting to realise that the official versions of 9/11 and 7/7 don't hold up, mainly through word of mouth as the press are still burying their heads in the sand. There are numerous calls for an independent inquiry into 7/7, but the Govt. are staunchly refusing.

As with The US, political apathy is widespread, so the majority of people don't realise the implications of laws that are being passed - such as the recent 'inciting racial hatred' bill and the introduction of ID cards. People just let them slide, under the impression that they are good people, with nothing to hide and therefore won't be affected by such laws.

Look at what Philadelphia's main newspaper had to say about 9/11:

I'm thrilled to see the shift in focus towards provable fact on this board (and in the movement generally). It's the only way forward, and I think people are really beginning to respond.

It's ALL ABOUT remembering who these monsters fear. Is Cheney afraid of a bunch of internet conspiracy theorists, or an independent prosecutor appointed by Congress. I'd vote for the latter. Rove will quit this week, but it means little. It's a symbol of frustration, and a milestone of progress.

Remember, we must become what they fear. We must not reamain that which they can dismiss or ridicule. Let's stick to the facts, we've got a pretty good case.

LOL! I don't believe a missle or fake plane hit the pentagon. I dont think there was any pods, flashes or UFO's, I dont think the planes were swapped or faked.

BUT WHAT I DO KNOW is that not only was 9/11 ALLOWED to happen(thats proven), but without al Qaeda hijackers even knowing, elements in the CIA, NSA etc helped make sure 9/11 happened with spectacular effect.

Exactly my point. 9/11 Truth is easily dismissed when characterized this way. For good reason, as those theories are not a credible way of explaining what happened that day.

Remember "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth"? We'd better have a bulletproof case, or we're in for much worse. It seems that people are so emotionally invested in their "worst fear" scenarios, that it may be difficult to break them away from their favorite theories. We must try to reach them, without being holier-than-thou about it. They WILL try to fracture us, and break us into camps that can be dealt with one by one. Better yet (from their perspective) we'll gradually destroy one another. Don't let that happen.

The concept of questioning 9/11's official version is all that needs to spread and then every individual person will have his/her own take and particular point of interest.

A brief conversation that someone I know had with a business colleague while they had to drive somewhere together - just, "What do you think about whether we got the truth on 9/11?" led to the colleague doing some google searching and the point he found most disturbing was the Shanksville crash and the lack of significant debris. He has a wife, 4 adult sons, an adult daughter, brothers and sisters.

Just putting the question out there: "Do you feel confident that we were told the truth? Do you really buy it, 19 hijackers? Is that the most reasonable, logical explanation for what happened that day?"

IMO, once the question is raised by someone they know, people are VERY receptive to questioning the official version. They already know that the elites in government and especially the media are untrustworthy, cheerleading for the idiotic Iraq War, pushing the idea of turning Social Security into a mutual fund, cramming Chandra Levy, Laci Peterson, Natalie Holloway and now Warren Jeffs down our throats all the time.

Agreed about following the cash flow. It certainly is a non-sequitor considering their behavior leading up to the flights. Some could claim that they were living it up before the big day, but there are a lot of questions...

I had a discussion about this issue yesterday with a friend at another forum and she suggested that we merely start with where a given individual is in their belief and understanding, and then work forward from there. Most people have some lingering questions and concerns about 9/11 that they may be reluctant to voice, but if we allow people to voice them and then begin to slowly and carefully show them the evidence (not the Pentagon and WTC stuff, but the pre-9/11 history, the investigative stand-downs, the whistle-blowers, the fact that the investigations have all been blocked orcompromised, et al), then we might open more eyes. There is a lot of good and irrefutable information at several web sites (cooperative research is always good at any time in the discussion), and so someone who's curious can follow the same trails we've followed.

i dont know about Fuhrman being OJ's wifes killer, but he was recently all over TV whoring his new book about how he can prove Oswald acted alone. HA.what a douche.

Zacharias Moussoui(sp?) used Nick Bergs laptop on a bus at some point. and the government claims it was Zarqawi who cut his head off on camera. as far as James Woods, all i know about is the fact that he thought he saw some hijackers on his flight and he called the FBI.

of all the peoples computers he could have used, he happens to come across Nick Berg, who happens to come across Zarqawi in Iraq. hhhmmmmm.......

I've done research on Nick Berg, using ONLY mainstream media reports(I refuse to ever watch that video)

According to the FBI, Nick Berg was interviewed right after 9/11. Him and his dad said Berg met with al Qaeda operatives in Oklahoma on a bus. He gave over passwords/emails. The tickets for the 9/11 flights were purchased at the Oklahoma University library at the time Berg was there. Berg's passwords were found on al Qaeda laptops. Now somehow, this guy is somehow killed by this same group half a world away, as he's wearing his US issued prison jumpsuit, hours after he was "released" from US custody in Iraq? Berg's father is insistent the US government had something to do with his death, and that there is more to the story than we know. It's significant, because there are way too many ties between Berg to al Qaeda and the US government. We know hijackers were flight training in the same city as Berg in Oklahoma.

check around for info, whatreallyhappened.com probably has a bunch on the Berg case.lots of inconsistensies and questions with that one.
