New Tape Stirs Up 9/11 Conspiracy Theories - ABC News
The minute the Pentagon released images of the Sept. 11 attack on its building, the message boards at ABCNEWS.com lit up with conspiracy theories.
Some blame it on an inside job by members of the Bush administration to benefit their business interests. Some say it was planned by neoconservatives to advance their worldview. Others don't know what happened but doubt the official story put forward by the government.

With Tuesday's release of video footage of American Airlines Flight 77 crashing into the Pentagon building, an attack that killed 184 people on Sept. 11, questions rage again."It doesn't clarify anything — I don't see a plane in that image," said Michael Berger, spokesman for 911Truth.org. "In fact, I thought that was underwhelming."
Berger said 911Truth.org "would like to see various conspiracy theories laid to rest as well" and does not believe the government has addressed "inherent contradictions" in evidence and testimony surrounding the events of that day.
"We would like to know what happened," he said. "Four-and-a-half years later, we still don't have definitive proof that a plane hit that building."
Berger said the group "has never said one way or another what happened at the Pentagon," but it did support the Freedom of Information Act requests that led to the Pentagon releasing the footage.
But 911Truth.org does believe Sept. 11 has been used as the "justification for broader policies," both foreign and domestic, he said.
Barrie Zwicker, a Canadian investigative reporter, documentary filmmaker and author of the upcoming book "Towers of Deception: The Media Cover-Up of 9/11," said the video does not answer the question of how any aerial vehicle — "a 757 or a missile or a fighter equipped with a missile or a fighter alone or a blimp or a Cessna" — could make it to the "central headquarters of the greatest military power that ever existed."
"Even if it was a model airplane, for God's sake," Zwicker said.

It's true. 9/11 truth has blown wide open now. At least the public knows there is an alternate theory out there, and if they haven't heard, their checking it out. I do hope loose change is busy.

While I believe Flight 77 hit the Pentagon, I think its good the government just created millions of new 9/11 Truth members by releasing this crappy footage.
Moussaoui bogus trial, NSA wiretaps, cryptic pentagon footage, Iraq lies, etc...people are getting fed up and want answers.
We have 4 months to go til 9/11/2006...I say we launch a major public awareness campaign everywhere to get the truth out there. Who gives a F what your theory is, were all here to ask for accountability and the lies regarding 9/11 to stop.

I can't see how this is a losing situation for us at all.
even if/when they do release the other videos, it will have opened up a bunch of people to OTHER ISSUES in the 911 truth community besides the speculative ones (CD/noplanes/etc)...
Anyone who is in tune with this stuff knows there is more than just the Pentagon, so no one is going to abandon their "inside job" mindset just by the "no 77" being debunked.
This is a positive thing for us no matter what, in my opinion.

hey dz and sbg, you guys gonna get the footage of Berger on ABC News or the NBC news footage from tonight? like i said, im pretty sure the NBC broadcast mentioned how the Pentagon has no more tapes. that means they destroyed or 'lost" the tapes from the hotel and gas station.

I'm glad they released this
I'm glad they released this but it isn't really that different from the screenshots we already had. I don't argue that a missile hit the pentagon but this footage doesn't really show a 747. Just like the screenshots we already had it doesnt look like much. I wish they had released the footage from the Marriot, Virginia Department of Transportation, and the various gas stations that filmed it. This will be used as a straw man attack against the 9/11 Truth Community but I think it will probably backfire on them. The vast majority of people who watch Loose Change or 9/11 Revisited or EGLS walk away believing the truth, not the government. Like they say, any press is good press.

Who cares whether the plane hit the pentagon or not. The real question should be asked is why no fighter jets were deployed to protect the skies in DC at the time of the pentagon strike, especially 35 minutes after the second wtc attack in nyc.

i cant wait for Zwickers book. ive been waiting on a book or documentary that highlights the medias utter failure when it comes to 9/11. the best thing about Hufschmids film was when he focused on the media. this should be a constant theme for 9/11 related books or films. its something that is lacking from most 9/11 related features.sadly, you have to beat it into some peoples heads that the media is not only capable, but more than willing to cover-up something like 9/11.fuck the media.

I don't think the video
I don't think the video provides very much evidence for or against Flight 77 hitting the Pentagon.
I think it does show how unwilling the government is to comply with FOIA requests. They finally release 2 almost identical videos to what we already had, in crappy quality with frames taken out, and expect that will silence the skeptics.
It's done the opposite. It's gotten more people interested in what really happened and shown that the government doesn't really want you to know.
