Gathering's focus June 2-4 is 9/11 events, their aftermath - Niles Herald-Spectator
Authors, researchers, activists and political candidates associated with the 9-11 truth movement will gather at the Embassy Suites Hotel Chicago-O'Hare in Rosemont June 2-4 with presentations and discussion challenging the conventional view of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, raising public awareness of their full scope, and asking for better government accountability.
Speakers scheduled to attend include Peter Phillips of Project Censored, BYU Physics Professor Steven E. Jones, news commentator Alex Jones, Canadian media critic Barrie Zwicker and California Congressional candidate Carol Brouillet.
Conference registration begins at 4 p.m. June 2; programs run from Friday evening through 6 p.m. Sunday. For information, see the web site, www.911RevealingTheTruth.org. Sponsors include 911truth.org and the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance for 9/11Truth.

A good sign that Tom DeLay doesnÂ’t have the facts on his side: the top source for his latest defense against his critics is Stephen Colbert.
This morning, DeLay’s legal defense fund sent out a mass email criticizing the movie “The Big Buy: Tom DeLay’s Stolen Congress,” by “Outfoxed” creator Robert Greenwald.
The email features a “one-pager on the truth behind Liberal Hollywood’s the Big Buy,” and the lead item is Colbert’s interview with Greenwald on Comedy Central (where Colbert plays a faux-conservative, O’Reilly-esque character). The headline of the “fact sheet”:
DeLay thinks Colbert is so persuasive, he’s now featuring the full video of the interview at the top of the legal fund’s website. And why not? According to the email, Greenwald “crashed and burned” under the pressure of Colbert’s hard-hitting questions, like “Who hates America more, you or Michael Moore?”
Apparently the people at DeLayÂ’s legal fund think that Colbert is actually a conservative. Or maybe theyÂ’re just that desperate for supporters.

Guys. I need someone's
Guys. I need someone's help. I emailed my local newspaper with the Zogby poll and an editor replied surprisingly and told me to write a piece on it and they'll put in the paper. This paper is read by over 100,000 people easy. The problem is I CAN'T write well enough.
This is what the editor emailed me back with....
"I would welcome a letter from you on the substance of the poll. I had not seen it or heard about it before your e-mail. I usually know or read about the Washington Post polls, but AP and the other wire services to whch we subscribe do not necessarily report on all polls, even one as relatively well known as Zogby. Thanks for writing. It is good information"

IMO, they should have sold out registrations already, but that is not the case. WHY? Posts on indymedia and craigslist get scrubbed and buried.. please everyone do a little and help spread the word on the Chicago conference. I have feeling it is going to be really good!

our internet stream is also blessed by some unlicensed radio ninja's who rebroadcast the stream on f.m. in sandiego at 106.9 I've put a bunch of 9/11 related audio in the daily rotation mix.
