Canada's "Maclean's" magazine posted a cautionary article about those pesky 9/11 truthseekers, the Scholars for 9/11 Truth in the May 15th, 2006 issue.

Framed as a hit piece by the magazine editor, (the online version doesn't even extend the courtesy of a hyperlink to ST911), the writer, Jonathon Gatehouse still manages to allow some of the alternative theories to see the light of day.

I think I understand now that most journalists of the MSM so vehemently defend the official position on 9/11. It's simply because these people would lose all their credibility and thus their position in society and their careers if this were to be true. They would have overlooked the story of the century although it was right in front their noses all the time and the "amateurs" would have discovered it first.

And within hours, Touhey found himself viewing this videotape of the two Arab men he had ticketed pass going through security. He told the FBI who they were. He also told them that he observed something curious on the tape.

And I said, "If you look at these guys, they both have like open collar, they have like dress shirts with an open collar." I said, "But that's them." I think that article was pretty fair and presented mostly the scholars views on 9/11 and the building collapses. Everything he writes shows how it's doable. Anyone who watched Ben Veniste too, knows those hearings weren't really open and we know Bush/Cheney didn't testify under oath...the end is a bit vague however when he talks to McMurtry. It never really says what McMurtry's belief is...

They would also be exposed as propagandists for mass murderers. The MSM has so much to lose that it would be extremely surprising if they didn't fight 9/11 truth tooth and nail.

very true about the MSM losing credibility--what we have to do is envision what will inevitably happen if we win (the MSM discredited) and work towards making that happen. We can't cheer every time they cover 911 truth in their snide way, we have to make them irrelevant and call for CNN et al. to be shut down, or at least sued. That way, there is a way out for someone in charge--basically to say whoa, we were deceived by all the journalists we hired and will now clean house.
We need to make a list of the worst offenders (wolf blitzer, judith miller, etc.?) and call for their resignations. If we don't people will rightly wonder why we wouldn't, if we're so sure they are willing shills for the conspirators.

hmmmmmm, I wonder if anyone's tried to talk with this Touhey man about the issue between what he actually experienced and what he later saw. That is interesting how he interjected that bit of information though, without going any further into it, strange.

I think that the FBI ignored s Touhey's observstions and let him think that he was wrong. I hope somebody picks up on this anomaly and investigates because sometimes seemingly small
discrepancies can yield big returns. It probably is the case that the famous airport surviellance video of Atta and his companion was taken in advance of the attack. This being percieved as new evidence in a crime it should be reported to the appropriate authorities even if it is ignored. This is an American citizens duty and I am a Canadian.

yes, im 100% convinced he was killed. just look at the politics around his death.i read the book you linked, its amazing, i highly suggest it. Wellstone was a politician that could geniunely be respected. i guess thats why he had to be killed.

In fact I was watching that one Child Prostitution Ring documentary (anyone know what I'm talking about?) and someone there died in a small plane crash that was never fully investigated.

I did a little browsing around, and it appears that diaries about "conspiracy theories" related to 9/11 are posted there frequently. They believe they've heard it all before. They believe it's all been debunked by articles such as Popular Mechanics. They'll mark you troll for writing about it, while complete opinion like this diary gets added to the "dkosopedia".
Not a site I have much hope for. They're all partisan anyway. They'd just make the issue look partisan if they supported it.
