Cats Show Little Interest in 9/11 Truth
"Just yesterday," Wheeler recalled, "I was watching 'The Great Conspiracy' with Barrie Zwicker when I noticed the cats weren't even paying attention. Bob was licking himself and Jane was just staring out the window. Then, all of a sudden, right when he brought up Building 7 of the WTC, they both sat straight up and started making weird little noises. I thought to myself, 'Wow... that got their attention!' Then I realized they were just looking at a squirrel that was hanging from a tree and stealing seed out of the birdhouse."
The 9/11 Truth Movement has many prominent members, including David Ray Griffin, Professor Emeritus of Theology at Claremont College in California, and Steven E. Jones, Professor of Physics at Brigham Young University. The cats, however, couldn't care less.

They used – and are still employing – the tactics of the demagogue to subjugate the American public. It is the tool of all tyrants, whatever their ideological bent. We were hijacked twice on 9/11 – once by terrorists, and once by our own one-party Republican government which has shamelessly used a horrible incident for a partisan thuggish suppression of our Constitutional rights. What the Bush Administration seeks to do is to use 9/11 and the threat of terrorism as a veneer under which to build a secret shadow government that has no accountability to the process of democracy.
Make no mistake about this (and the Democratic Leadership on Capitol Hill still doesn’t get what is really going on), there are surely terrorists in the world (there always have been), but there are also enemies within who are actively undermining the Constitution and the very concept of rule by the people. For the Cheneys of the world, there is no trust to be placed in the “rabble†of democracy.

I sometimes get e-mails from conspiracy theorists about 9/11. These people always claim that the 9/11 attacks were actually carried out by the U.S. government to create a pretext for the Iraq war.
I also get e-mails from people who encourage the American public to believe something just as crazy: that Saddam Hussein was personally involved in the 9/11 attacks.
There's a subtle distinction between the former and the latter correspondents. I'm pretty sure the former e-mails come from pathetic lunatics living in basements, who post their rants on Web sites that get 10 hits per day. I'm completely sure who sends me the latter messages: the White House Office of Communications.

Actually, that would be the author of this piece. "Rocky mountain news"? Yeah, I read that all the time. They just don't get it, do they -- WE are the majority. THEY are the conspiracy lunatics, and they're insulting literally 60% of their readership when they disgorge this bile.

Tonight Bill "fatuous gasbag" O'Reilly played part of Kevin Barrett's podcast (Barrett wasn't there). Then O'Reilly & some Wisconsin politition, Scott Suder, bashed Barrett. Then Suder promised O'Reilly that he'll still try to get Barrett fired.
(BTW, a segment or 2 later, O'Reilly played a clip of Jean Garaffalo sounding lame in saying something like Bush may have used 9/11 as an excuse to invade Iraq.)

Man, I fucking hate the people who say Bush lied about Iraq and how evil Bush is, but then call us truthers every name in the book. That's why I greatly anticipate true vindication...I dont care if its Clooney coming out, or a top media journalist, or big time politician, someone.
Those three articles were horrible, sorry dz. The "the terrorists got us, but Bush hijacked the tragedy" is no different than the not even limited hangout of "incompetence".

By the way, I am one of these lunatics, and I get between 800,000 and 1.8 million hits on my site each month, and my site is one of the lesser popular ones, and does not even address 9/11 directly.

Dr. Jones has now analyzed along with other professional colleagues remaining steel from WTC and found physical residues of thermate, the incendiary material apparently used to cut through steel girders pre-collapse- there is no other explanation for the existance of this residue, since thermate was not and is not used to clear the rubble, and this kind of evidence alone has previously been used to sucessfully prosecute and convict arson cases.

I have spent many many hours doing research on the 9/11 attacks and what I have discovered led me to believe 9/11 was an inside job. The collapse of World Trade Center Building Seven is the reason I began to do research. You said: "I'm pretty sure the former e-mails come from pathetic lunatics living in basements, who post their rants on Web sites that get 10 hits per day." I personally live in a condominium in beautiful San Diego California and post my comments at 911blogger.com which averages 4,500 page visits and 7,900 page views per day. You say: "(Someone who claims "the situation in Iraq is a lot better than it was a year ago" deserves precisely as much respect as someone who claims President Bush carried out the 9/11 attacks)." You have never met me or the other millions of Americas who do not believe the official story of 9/11 yet you say we all deserve no respect. That's quite an inflammatory statement Mr. Campos. A recent Zogby International poll showed that 42% of Americans believe there is a cover-up. So nearly 50% of the country deserves no respect?
If we were the ones who believed the crazy theory it would be very easy to debunk all of us. So please do, I've been waiting patiently for someone to do it for a long time. All you have to do is explain why WTC 7 collapsed. The 9/11 Commission couldn't do it, the FEMA study couldn't do it, and the NIST study could not do it. But apparently your up for the challenge. Randi Rhodes is a truther insofar as she openly espouses LIHOP on her show -- that is, she makes the LIHOP argument herself, and quite forcefully, rather than just letting callers make it and then mumbling half-assed assent.
She also allows a lot of 9/11 stuff on her message board.
As much as I'm going to be really unhappy if a satisfying account of events on 9/11/01 is never forthcoming, a large part of the population going LIHOP would probably be enough to put the brakes on our hell-inna-handbasket descent into fascism.

1.) The wtc buildings were constructed in a way that would eventually have to be completely rebuilt due to mechanical failure. Because of this, It was going to cost well into the Billions of dollars for the owners, so..
2.) Instead of paying for it themselves, they 3.) came up with the idea to have "terrorists" destroy it, thus 4.) not only not having to pay for the demolition and rebuilding, but 5.) getting massive amounts of insurance money as well as all the other illegal financial transactions going on.
Is that the basic idea of what you are saying?

I've never heard that one exactly, but I've heard that that towers were so filled with asbestos that it would've cost several billion $$$ to have it all properly removed. (Much easier & more profitable to blow 'em up.)
